My wife and I were wandering around Astoria and came across Mia's Pizza. Small shop, but with personality and excellent food.
I totally recommend their taco's. We had their chicken tacos and the sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious! If you're ever around here, definitely stop by!

Delicious pizza and really nice staff. If you want to eat in, it’s a small space but they do have a few seats/tables. The place looked clean and has a cozy vibe to it. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area again (:

Pretty good. NYC definetly has some overrated pizza, but this was pretty good. I had a grandma & lasagna slice. I could actually taste the ingredients ( garlic & whatever else). Price was on par for nyc slices ~4.5 for specialty but this shocked me. Very good pizza.👍👍

Decent neighborhood place. We picked up a pie because they’re close and from the other reviews, that seems like a better option. Friendly staff, nice set up for dining in. Maybe we’ll do that next time. Pizza was huge, good crust, good value. We’ll be back.

I had the personal cheese pie and it was pretty big for only $6. Super fresh and tasty, and their sauce is the perfect amount of tart and sweet. Boyfriend had the meatball parm which was also amazing. They had quick service too. Looking forward to trying more menu items

uhhhhh. i just found out about this spot and i've been in astoria for over 10 years. food is legit. its delicious. it doesn't irritate my stomach. i ordered from this spot two days in a row. they delivered the order super fast and they were thoughtful on packaging. during the two days i had philly cheesesteak, chicken parm, house special pizza with hot peppers, salad (super fresh), garlic bread, and spaghetti. they were all good. it tastes like home made food. you guys should check it out!

Great mom n pop pizza spot in Astoria! Friendly staff, good service. Excellent NY style pizza. Quick local delivery as well.
If you want to grab a bite inside, they have about 4 small tables and some window stools. A bit tight as most pizza spots in NYC.
**While indoor dining is on COVID safety hold, there is now outdoor seating**
The gem of the menu IMO is the GRANDMA SQUARE PIE - it is soo good - Fresh mozz, loaded with garlic (not overdone tho), perfect sauce, fresh basil, and the most tasty crust - crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. It's prob my favorite pie in all of NYC. I get this delivered almost weekly and it never disappoints.
Other must-try standouts: Sausage n pepper roll, spinach roll, garlic knots and eggplant parmesan hero. But really everything is good on the menu.
Tip: Sometimes they run a pizza pie + Soft drink deal when paying cash. Ask about it!

This is one of the best places to get pizza in the city. The store itself is very small but also very cozy. This is our family’s go-to pizza shop and we are never disappointed. Even on a busy day the pizza never takes more than 45 minutes to arrive. Thanks so much for the great pizza!

I recently contacted the owner Joe about a large scale catering order for an event on Randall's Island for a non-profit children's organization. He was so incredibly helpful, reliable and easy to work with! I knew we were in good hands the moment I got him on the phone. He gave me great options and a great price and we were grateful for all of his hard work. We will definately be back. We highly recommend Mia Pizza
