Awesome food great service. Edit** Since the time, I've gone back two times and the food was ok. The service was horrible. Would not go to this location, for a long time *Went back, with a Friend. It was much better. The food was never bad, some were better than others. The service wasn't the always the issue!! They seemed to fix this!!

Cannot get take out orders correct. Did not get what I ordered. When I called all the manager could say was that I wasn't charged for the other piece of chicken. I ordered the dinner that the menu clearly said two pieces of chicken. Then tell me that if I want to drive back down that I could buy it. Two trips means twice the gas. I haven't ordered from here in awhile(since there was meatloaf on the menu) because of the last screwed up order. I understand mistakes happen. But when they repeatedly happen and the solution is for me to use my gasoline to fix your mistake, it is unacceptable. I'm done with Bob Evans in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Went here today 3/22/2022 at 4:30 walked in and requested a nice booth . The girl looked a us and said “ well , I don’t know …I will have to see what we have. “ * Mind you , it wasn’t busy and there were booths everywhere open . She came back and said we had 2 options of front booths right by the door where it’s cold where we were standing waiting .The worst booths there . I had my 85 year old mother with me and she gets chilled very quickly . I said can we sit in this room to the left , like a sun room with tables ? She’s like whatever . She goes over to the other waitresses all gathered together to obviously discuss the situation with them . By this time I was livid . We never sat down . I just said , you know what , just forget it . We will just go somewhere else . This was ridiculous . When a customer requests a booth in a certain area they should be accommodated , especially when you are not busy and many booths in that area are open ! This particular location of Bob Evens restaurant is known for not being the best . Your restaurant and food is not worth being treated this way . We took our business to Applebees where we got to sit where we wanted , were treated well and served way better quality food . I will never , ever visit this trashy location again !keep your booths !

Don’t eat here if you have an allergy!!! First of all, we sat at a table where we could see right into the kitchen… dirty! Dirty! Dirty! They were busy, so I tried to ignore the mess. Then a lady in our group has a serious sensitivity to gluten. They gave her breaded chicken on her salad when she was supposed to get grilled chicken. Instead of remaking the salad, they picked the breaded chicken off and replaced it with grilled chicken. Have they never heard of cross contamination? My mom was in agony by the time we got out to the car. There are standard protocols for food establishments when dealing with food allergies. For my mom, this is not life threatening, but for some people it would be. What if she had celiac disease? This kind of disregard for peoples needs could kill someone! The service was not great either. The waitress came to our table only twice besides to take our order.

Did something we normally don't do, order out. With the exception of pizza, we don't order and bring it home. Ordered from Bob Evans in Ashtabula, brought it home, and it was horrible. The food was cold and it was the smallest portion I've ever seen. We eat in at Bob Evans and the portions are large. This was about a 3rd of a portion. Ordered a bowl of soup and received a cup. Yes, I tipped 20%. Whomever got the tip, it was your responsibility to make sure the food was satisfactory, and it's your fault that you lost a customer!

The eggs were scrambled fluffy the bacon was crispy the home fries were well done well I get on the one side with the other side with plain no no browning or nothing little disappointed in those home fries hash browns whatever you call them and then the toast is okay but I didn't get enough jelly I like strawberry jelly So overall the food was very very good

Well, it seems everytime i go there, some part of my food gets messed up and i have to wait longer. Last time i ate in...i had four others of my party get there food while i had to wait another 20 minutes for mine. Then this morning, i called to order myself some sausage gravy and biscuits and got shoved on hold for 12 minutes. I ended up hanging up and ordered food from debs diner. This bob evans has went down hill.
