Mirch Masala

My family and I came up there this past Saturday for a little day trip, and some much needed mountain air. My husband has been here prior as he works all over the south east and recommended we come there as a family. The food was outstanding! The service was amazing! Decor was absolutely adorable made me home sick for my mountain back home(Big Bear Lake CA)! Staff were super nice my twins even got to draw pictures for their art wall which they loved! We will definitely be back the next time we are out that way!

The website was a little glitchy; every time I tried to add an item to the cart, the screen would freeze, and when I tried to refresh it deleted the items I'd already added. That happened about three times, which can be enough to deter me, but I am glad I persisted with my order. We ordered takeout, so don't have much to say about the restaurant itself--it was clean and relatively quiet when we went to pick up our food. The service was good, the food was fresh and ready when we walked in, and the pickup was very quick. The food itself was delicious. We ordered three flavors of wings and sauces. The price for bone-in and boneless wings was the same, and the price was great for bone-in wings (but pretty exorbitant for boneless). We ordered bone-in. All the wings came very well sauced, and the containers of side sauce were full and seemed freshly poured. Both ranch and blue cheese dressings were good quality. Everyone was happy with their meals and ate enthusiastically. Only one wing out of the eighteen individual wings we received seemed too small to count as an actual wing, but that ratio is pretty good compared to all the chains in the area. Overall, the price and speed for this quality of food is a steal. This was a great, delicious meal, and everyone was more than satisfied. We are all excited to return. Only got pictures of two flavors of wing before everyone dug in--pictured are "garlic parmesan" and "sweet and tangy".

Stopped to get gas at the Shell and noticed the restaurant so decided to see what they had so I could get some dinner to go. I decided on the club wrap with chips. I was thinking I'd get a bag of chips, but nope these chips were made fresh and must have been fried when I ordered them because they came out piping hot and oh so crispy. Absolutely delish. The wrap was amazing too. Staff was very friendly and place very clean.

Excellent little unassuming neighborhood restaurant. I had a pizza and salad. The salad was surprisingly big. I could literally taste how fresh and crisp it was - better than I’ve had at more upscale places. Pizza was great! Service was very attentive, Southern and sweet. Very wholesome vibe, free of overly fancy/hipster affectation. Absolutely worth visiting!!

We order the Black Bear Deluxe Pizza and a large Black Bear Greek Salad both were very delicious. The restaurant is very clean . The employees were very friendly and helpful. We have had the Ugly Burger with the skirt of melted cheddar-jack cheese and it is delicious. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
