Zaxby's

Overall disappointed with my last several experiences here. Orders are often incomplete, and the level of excellence I'm accustomed to from Zaxby's food quality feels greatly diminished while the menu continues to get pricier?@? $15+ for a 6pc strip meal that I can get at a sit down restaurant for not much more.

It was quite dim and dull when we first arrived at approximately 6:15PM and thought it was closed. No one in Drive Thru and no one inside. Thought about turning around then said "we're here, what the heck!" We went inside and ordered for Inside. The Young Lady that took our order was very pleasant and happily took our order. As we turned to find the drink machine there were 3 Young men waiting to order. One of the young men said "we thought this place was closed until we saw you all ordering and decided to come in." (Getting rather lengthy here). As my wife turned to the soda machine I started towards the seating area and to my surprise folk were coming in. Another gentleman came from the Prep Area and started helping the Young Lady. The Place lit up! Customers were happily coming in! My wife stated maybe we should just go into Zaxby restaurants that are empty and charge a Dollar a head for folk coming in after us. The Place actually was almost filled and there were folk still waiting in line to order. This Restaurant was warm, clean and it seemed the whole place was happy and you really felt you were at granny's . (BTW We're satisfied customers not employees) JER/SAR 12/6/22

We loved the food. The chicken was perfectly executed. The salad was and amazing. It's Saturday afternoon 4:30. There is a new hire working the register. She's trying very hard and being very helpful and pleasant. There is a blue shirt lady. She's very unpleasant and agitated. It's one thing to get flustered during a rush or out of sorts with new people. This lady was rude. I asked how she was today and she shrugged me off and broke eye contact while walking past me as if I were in her way. She was being hateful out loud with the new hire. We ate in the dining room. Though the food was delicious and the store clean. The bathroom doors make a horrible squeaking when opened and upon closing and often in unison. Apparently no toilet paper in the lady's restroom. Another customer came out for napkins. I hope Emma gets some relief. The entire ordeal was very upsetting and we left before we finished. Maybe next time.

The Zaxby's Signature Spicy Chicken Sandwich is better than Popeye's, but not as good as Chick-fil-A. The chicken breast is tasty, large, and flaky, which suggests it's probably grown with growth hormone and antibiotics. The fries are good. Fresh squeezed lemonade is good, but a little bitter (let's you know it's fresh squeezed:).
