Okay, so we asked the Valet at the DoubleTree to recommend a quirky, chic place to eat that has great food and a fun atmosphere. First place--The Med. So we walked over there from our Hotel and were not disappointed. It took 30 minutes to get a table, no biggy we shopped across the street at Tops, but it did take another 30 minutes for lunch. A bit long but hey the food was fantastic. Lots of flavor and we had nice entertainment at the counter watching the cook. He worked very hard! No complaints just praise for this place.

It's a small diner with booths and counter seating. We were seated right away. I had eggs cooked just like I asked with bacon and toast and my husband had a pancake as big as the plate. With great coffee and oj the bill came to $25. Great place for breakfast

Brunch & Entertainment in one🤩This place is AMAZING. I recommend sitting at the counter so you can witness the meals being prepared. The 2 guys work in harmony and create magic for your mouth. I had the Hash Bowl, with eggs over easy. My husband has The Royale. Thank you to The Med for a GREAT beginning to the day🎈

This place offers good fresh quality food. The menu is simple but mighty, which allows this to produce quality products. I forgot to take a picture of my full breakfast, but it was amazing. I had the two egg plate, with potatoes and a biscuit, and the hubby and i shared the fried green tomatoes. He has catfish with grits and collards it was amazing.

Great food!! Love it when I can go to a restaurant and see menu items that I’ve never seen before! I got the Pisgah bowl and it was what I would describe as a breakfast Ramen! Very good food. The place was designed a little tight to allow maximum customers. My wife and I had a stroller but they have an area where you can keep it, kid friendly, so points for that! Great experience!!

Hands down one of the better places in Ashville! Smaller diner feel, but the waitstaff and cook are cool! Good vibes! The food was outstanding! Biscuits and gravey were delicious! Gravey was not just regular goop, but nice and silky and amazing flavor! The hasbowl was were its at! The sausage was fresh and sage filled! The big fried potatoes gave great texture, smothered with that sauce!!! Outta bounds! Fresh tomatoes for a cool crisp after bite, onions and peppers and smothered in cheese!??? Why not!!
