New pub to us for our occasional half way meet up from Midlands and south coast. Landlord, hospitality, great food, good beer, excellent wine, ambience and pub dog now makes this our go to. Landlord gave us an insight to the autumn menu coming soon, sounds great, we'll be back!

Wonderful proper country pub. Met a friend after work as it was halfway between us, so had no expectations. This is a welcoming little place that was buzzing early evening. Clearly loved by people who live locally, we got a warm welcome, great service and lovely food. And you’ve got to love a pub with a dog called Alan!

Super nice pub off the beaten track, worth stopping in for a drink and a bite. I had a tasty sirloin and my friends had burgers and fillet steak. Really satisfying meals with well priced wines and beers. Recommend this place though was a very quiet night when we visited. 👍🙂 …

I’ve stopped by for a drink and lunch, and I was shocked, this was The Best fish and chips which I ever had. Cooked to the perfection, fresh and crispy.
