The coconut chicken soup (椰汁雞) is amazing! The soup is very sweat and refreshing, and the sauce for the chicken is great too. Highly recommended!
The waiter was very friendly, she reminded us that we should drink the soup before eating any other dishes to make sure we can have the best dining experience.
This restaurant also provides 大閘蟹, but it’s pretty tiny and does not have much meat.

This is one of our go-to spots for larger family dinners. The Peking Duck is excellent, the best available in NOVA currently. The normal stuff like beef chow fun is good too. I like a fish and tofu clay pot dish the best along with a special fried rice 西施炒飯.
The dining room is never too busy at the earlier dinner times. They also take call ahead reservations.
NOTE: Pay in cash because they will charge a service fee for credit cards!

A friend recommended this place for Peking Duck, which was good, crispy, and cheaper ($41) than all the other places we have tried. The duck skin is less fat than in other places, which is the best part. 12 pancake wrap is not enough for a half duck, let alone a whole duck. I'm surprised they give fewer pancakes since they are cheap to buy at the local market. Other dishes are delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you want Peking Duck or authentic Chinese.
We drive past this restaurant whenever we go to Annandale. We always thought this was like a fast food Chinese, but it is a hidden gem of authentic Chinese. This place is small, with a few tables only. It gets busy quickly, and parking is limited in front. There is a rear parking lot that I can't get to because 2 SUVs blocked the entrance due to the way parking was marked. They need to eliminate one of the parking spots by the entrance to make space for cars to drive in.

We have always really enjoyed going to Rice Pot. The management and waitstaff have always been friendly and prompt with their service.
The food has been without fail, delicious. Usually do chicken fried rice and chicken with mixed vegetables. Both very solid, but recently tried the Singapore Rice Noodles and it was exceptional. Fragrant, hint of spice, but not overdone.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality Chinese/Asian restaurant.

Usually I dont try not to go to places under 4 stars unless its chain places but took a chance on this one since the items I saw on menu looks good to me. Glad I went because the Beef chow fun with xo sauce and salty fish and chicken fried rice were on point. As a cantonese person I approve of this place. Haven’t tried the clay pot casserole stuff so no comment of that and for service I would say they were in middle of training someone new and also seems like the main server I assume is the only one that speak english fluently so Its understandable.

The chicken tofu w/salted fish pot is surprisingly delicious. Even though it locates in a little bit remote location, the Cantonese food is authentic. The restaurant is empty during this special time. I’m glad they have outdoor seating so I can sit down enjoying this meal on a quiet Saturday morning. The waitress was wearing mask and eye production all the time so that gives assurance of eating here. The service is excellent.
The restaurant just like many others is struggling. Hope we can help them so that they won’t disappear before this whole thing is over.

Authentic neighborhood Cantonese restaurant. We love their clay pot dishes. We especially like the eggplant chicken and brisket clay pot dishes. It’s not fancy but the service is always friendly and quick. The dishes taste just right like home made.
Bring your Chinese buddy to this place. Don’t expect a great meal if you order the typical American Chinese dishes. Bring cash or they will charge you 3% for CC.
