Papa John's Pizza

First experience with Toarmina's and it was great (4 on today)! The employee who took my order over the phone was very nice and patient, since I had to ask him some questions about their ingredients due to a dairy allergy in the family. He was super nice when I arrived and they do curbside pickup (great when having to isolate to see high risk family or have a bunch of kids in tow). He was masked and very friendly. The pizza was delicious. We had a cheese-less deluxe and also a cheesed-up deep dish with pepperoni, as well as some boneless wings. It was all tasty. We will be back. Thank you to the friendly employee who helped me, for offering curbside pickup, and for delicious pizza!

A little pricey in my opinion for what we ordered. Deluxe 16" pizza plus one pound of traditional wings in Italian (which was about 8 wings). Even after $10 Groupon, it was still $33, which included a tip. However, food was decent! I'll go back to check out other items on menu and try a different 🍕 to make my way through the list. Called in order but there was still about an additional 15-20 minute wait upon arrival. A gentleman in line ahead of me waited to order but eventually left. 4 stars for the wait and pricing 😋

Date of order: 30-Sep-2020. Review has nothing to do with the actual quality of the product, has everything to do with accuracy. Ordered (online) Mediterranean and specified peppers (i.e. pepper rings) and black olives only on half. Instead they added pepper rings to the whole pizza and added green peppers to half (which I didn't pay for and didn't want). On top of this, ordering directly through the store's website was told 25 minutes. At 30 minutes my pizza wasn't even in the oven! By the time I got it, was twice the original estimate (50+ minutes). I wouldn't bother with this review but this is at least the second time the pizza was made wrong and probably the 5th time it has taken way longer than the estimate. It's unfortunate that the pizza is good as many pizza places in Ann Arbor are really just average. I may try once more but that will be the last time if it happens again.

I understand the pizza business can be hectic. I understand it’s very difficult these days with labor shortages and lack of people willing to fill those positions. That being said : 1st order- pizza was dropped. All toppings amassed into a mess in one corner. 2nd order- ordered “deluxe” with lite cheese. Received a cheese pizza with what seemed to be extra cheese. Couldn’t eat it. 3rd order- Placed order at 10:45 and received phone call at 12:45 that my order was “misplaced “ (I ordered online) and that they are closed.um….wow. Another try … lite cheese and extra sauce … Extra cheese and no sauce. Might want to limit marijuana use by employees. Done.

I've been walking by here for years and finally decided to give it a go. This pizza isn't the worst I've had, but it's not the cheapest either. Canned mushrooms are a no-go. Ingredient options are pretty limited. Overall flavor was lacking and the pizza was slightly undercooked. Not sure what else to say - there are plenty of better options out there. Solid 2.5 star pizza. Salad was extremely average. Dressing was wack - straight out of the Sysco packet most likely. The wings on the other hand were pretty good maybe 3.5 stars. The cannolis were also pretty good. cripsy shell, freshly made. I would come back for the cannolis but not for the pizza.
