Waffles And Whatnot

Best breakfast! As first timers, they selected our meal and we each loved their picks. The chicken, the Mac and cheese, the waffles, the sauces. Just all incredible. We met the owner (read his story) and how he infuses the nutrients into the food. We left stuffed, informed and happy. I loved the inspirational quotes as well. Please expand to GA!!

Delicious! We had the Mindy (3 waffles) and the Baby Daddy (Chicken & Cheese waffle) then kids waffle that they loaded with fruit (blueberries, bananas, & strawberries) whipped cream and syrup (also came with bacon)- my son LOVED it! Everything was made fresh, tasted great and they are such nice people! My son loved the chalkboard to color on and books to look at while we waited for food. We'll be back! 😁😋

10/10 will be visiting again. This place is outstanding! Derrick absolutely took us to flavor town! Also the wonderful chef, I don’t know her name, but she made me the herbivore scramble and the checkerboard waffle with blueberries, she is amazing. They make a surprise for your first visit and if you don’t like it after two bites, you don’t have to pay for it! I definitely took more than two bites. BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!

Ok y’all… so I tried this black owned Chicken & Waffle brunch place & it was really good! I loved their creativity & menu names… it kind of brings certain people into mind for each category! The place feels like a big community hub…they’re very involved. I also met the young daughter of the owners…she was so hospitable & chatted with me. So sweet! I chose “The Sarah”… chicken & waffle sandwich w/ bacon, sautéed onions & avocado on it with a side of fresh scrambled eggs. Those eggs were super fresh too, everything was good even the patient & warm customer service I received. If you ever visit the awesome city of Anchorage… I’d recommend this place as a stop along your journey here!

Awesome first time experience! So for your first time you just tell them it is your "first time". You don't choose something, they choose it for you by asking a series of questions. On your first time you pay for your meal when you're done with it. If you don't like it you don't pay. Food was delicious, customer service was awesome! The atmosphere was friendly, restaurant was clean and I can't believe I had never been there before! I absolutely will be back and I've told multiple people about it already!

Beware! This place is addictive! When I mentioned this was my first time, I was told that I don’t have a choice on what to order. They asked me 4 questions and I was given what they picked for me based on those questions (I could take 2 bites and return it if I didn’t like it). I LOVED it!! They picked the “Crazy Uncle” with reg bbq sauce/sautéed onions and jalapeños. So delicious! Service was incredible and all food we got was perfection! Highly recommend!!
