Jin House

How do you mess up a volcano roll? There wasn't any cream cheese on it whatsoever or seasoning to it. There was cucumbers in it, too. It didn't say it was supposed to come with cucumber in it but that was the least of my worries. They put some messy "scallop" sauce on top that tasted really weird and it was cold. A volcano roll is supposed to be rather spicy or have a kick to it and there were no flames to be found that day. It almost seems like they may have given me the wrong sushi roll order! The crab rangoons tasted pretty okay, but they were very, very stale. My boyfriend's lo mein was bland and tasteless. Our meal wasn't cheap, which is to be expected at a sushi restaurant, but for the quality, no. I suggest everyone to go to somewhere else. There are many options around the area with exceptionally better quality. Very disappointed after hearing so many good things about Jin House. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I've been going to the Jin House for over 2 years now & the food has gone way down hill. The prices have doubled & when you order a large spicy mayo for a $1 the container isn't even half way full. I started ordering two containers of large spicy mayo for $2, and neither container was 1/3 of the way full which is nothing if you order the regular sushi roll dinner that comes with 3 regular rolls. The general tso's chicken is absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money.

This was an excellent place to eat Sushi! I love tempura shrimp so I shared a meal of Pink Lady and Dragon Rolls. The Dragon Roll with the cream cheese was just creamy enough. Both had a lovely mix of flavors. I couldn't decide which I liked better because they were both so good! Highly recommend! Wait staff was also helpful and kind.

The service is still great and the staff is very helpful and friendly and you do still at least have sushi on the menu, however, the change in the menu wasn't good. There's no more habatchi and no more sushi appetizer. The sushi appetizer gave easy access to the best tasting real sushi on the menu. It was quick fast and perfect for variety lovers. Please bring it back with the habatchi. This used to be the best place in town.
