Rizotto Ristorante

This is an updated reveiw and the owner must have read my last reveiw as I see several new improvements were made. Again, we went on a Thursday night, when they had a live band, which was great! The location of band was changed and the big screen TV was no longer being played in the room with the band, yay! There were now 3 bartenders on so no more waiting and waiting for drinks, yay! These were two big, huge improvements that I recommended and was so glad to see. When you order dinner you are served complimentary " breads and spreads". Nice touch. On the negative side, completely full house at 9:00 when the band ends, unfortunately this is the same time the owner closes the bar/ restraunt! Huge loss of opportunity for additional revenue and really bad for customers who are being rushed out like it's 4am and we're in our 20's again! Lights turned up and all! Also, my biggest disgust was when at 8:30 Mike, the Host, hauled out a huge clear opened, overflowing, garbage bag from the men's bathroom and carried it within 1-2 feet from our dining table as we were eating our dinner! Big yuck! All those germs! Totally not appropriate at all!!! Couldn't he have just waited half an hour till close? Isn't that a Health Department Issue? Hopefully the owner reads this again and makes more improvements. I'll keep you updated upon next visit.

If you are looking for a Friday fish fry don't rule this place out. A big portion of fish that can be served cooked your choice, breaded shown in picture. Risotto, pasta or fries as a side. Slaw, a salad and bread makes for a great meal. We ate at the bar and Oliver is an outstanding tender. On Friday night they sometimes have live music also.

We were fortunate enough to experience the last night of restaurant week at Rizottos. Mike sat our Party of 5 around 7pm on a Sunday night. Plenty of options off Restaurant week Specials Menu. I just was hoping for a Vegatarian option and didn't see any. With that being said, they have an enormous sized appetizer/salad list to start off our dinner then dessert. We were able to choose 1 smaller pizza, or 3 items from course 1 list. Let me just say our Server "Derek" was Phenomenal.. Derek was beyond Professional, Fun and attentive to all our questions/concerns on Menu. Course 2, were the Main dinner options, Chicken Milanese, Pork with Polenta & asparagus, Ribeye, and so much more.. Derek kept appearing at our table to make sure we were drooling and enjoying our every bite. I'm not sure I've ever experienced service this Good. Derek should be training every server in WNY. His bubbly personality kept us smiling as we waited a bit for our Main course. If they were out of an item, Derek let us know. He kept the bread coming if needed too. In all fairness it was their last night serving the Restaurant week Menu. Everyone of my family members was enjoying their food and with dessert (Course 3) we received a complimentary shot of Limoncello, Derek offered my teenage son a shot of lemonade. Derek gave us $10.oo off 2 dinner coupons. My parents already went back. Such a Great Experience, huge restaurant, bar and banquet facility. With sensitive eyes, the lighting was just right, not bright in your eyes and easy to read Menus. When there's a chill in the air, the fire places are on.. If you need to drop anyone off at front door, pull up your car under shelter area. Oh and I recommend a Reservation~

Food is high quality and very good value. We had the chicken parm and butternut squash ravioli. Both entrees came with the pick-a-pair choice from the antipasto offerings. Everything was delicious. It was our server's first day on the job but she did very well and was knowledgeable about the menu. The bartenders were also friendly and helpful. This is a great place for drinks, live music, a weeknight meal, or a special night out. I'm glad I live nearby!
