This was a last-minute stop. So glad we did. Alnwick Stout was amazingly light and smooth for a stout. Gammon steak was spot on. Chips were spectacular, and the onion rings were flavorful and crisp. A spot to visit again.
Only had pre-dinner drinks here, but it is a really great pub. Good beer on tap, good wines available, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. This was our go-to spot for grabbing a pleasant drink in Alnwick.
Fabulous food, staff amazing and even put Karaoke on for us despite it not being a karaoke night. Extremely good accommodating large groups and couldn't do enough. Would definitely recommend.
What a fantastic place! We popped into here for lunch and were so impressed. The service, portions, quality of food, and the prices were all excellent. A bargain actually! Congratulations to the staff (bar and kitchen) - you're doing a brilliant job. We will be back!!
