Barbara's Polish Deli

Went in for lunch and had a polish sausage with caramelized onions, breaded pork chop, pierogis, and meat & mushroom sauerkraut. The sauerkraut and pierogis were divine. The sauerkraut is savory and bursting with flavor. Pierogis are a tradition in my family and these pierogis were great. They have a nice frozen variety of pierogis if you want to take some home. My girlfriend had the stuffed cabbage and she thought it was great. Will definitely be back for their fresh bread, pierogis and to try more delicious Polish food. Service was excellent, the place was run by 3 lovely Polish ladies. An older gentleman sat next to us and had gotten some cabbage soup that looked delicious. I'd love to try more of their food.

A big gem hidden in a small space in a strip mall in Addison, IL. They may not have everything the big polish delis have but their food is fresh and a top quality. Selection of pierogis is unbelieveable, meats and sausages are just delicious, pre-packed soups are really worth trying. Good place to shop for authentic polish products.

Amazing and delicious food with beautiful presentation. We used the catering services and everything earned five stars: from quality, quantity, accuracy, presentation of food to communication and price! The owner was very easy to work with and beyond accommodating. My guests loved, loved and loved the food. The Polish cuisine at its best! Will be a returning customer when an opportunity arises. Glad I found this hidden gem tucked away in a shopping plaza. This place is awesome. People are fantastic extremely friendly. Food is excellent. Homemade everything. I nagged her for mushroom only pierogi a special order. She made them for me and WOW!!! They were so damn good, I no longer have to special order them as she put them on the standard stock list. Hands down my favorite pierogi anywhere. Everyone I have shared them with agrees. Anytime I have a craving for Polish food this is my first choice.

Place is amazing. I’m polish but I didn’t get a chance to visit in few years so this was an amazing surprise. When I walked in I felt like I’m in neighborhood corner store next to my parents home. You can find everything, I mean EVERYTHING that your polish taste buds may be missing and the ladies that work there are just wonderful! This place is a treasure, you really should visit. I came to Barbara's Deli over a year ago to surprise my wife (who is from Poland) with some authentic Polish food that we can not get where we live. I had no idea what she would like (or even recognize), and had to ask the lady behind the counter for help. She suggested things she (my wife) would recognize from Poland, and absolutely hit the nail on the head. My wife liked everything so much she sent me back with a list! So a year later, we had to come up here for business. Stopping at Barbara's Deli was an absolute must. This time, I had my wife with me! The lady behind the counter recognized me from a year ago, and asked my wife how she liked all the stuff I had brought her. Needless to say, I was blown away. I absolutely love this place and will definitely stop by here anytime I'm up this way. The food is FANTASTIC, and the service is even better! Thank you for showing an "out of towner" some true Polish hospitality!

I stopped in here for some authentic Polish food for my wife (who is Polish), and was blown away with the service I received! I wanted to surprise my wife with some food that we can not get where we live...the problem is, I had no idea what it was (I am not Polish). Barbara helped me figure out what meats and cheeses she (my wife) would definitely recognize, and even let me try some of the Perogies they were currently preparing. So delicious! Such a fantastic experience! I would absolutely recommend this Deli to anyone looking for some great Polish food, and absolutely stellar customer service! Thank you so much!!
