We went to dine in at today and it was very disappointing to see the restaurant in such situation, no cleanliness, AC was not working, etc...however, we ordered the food and informed that we will use CBD offer which is buy1 get1, the steward clearly denied that there is no such valid offer, and he was so rude from the time we entered the restaurant. We cannot imagine this to be happening in Dubai, which is known for Hospitality & Services.

The veg spring rolls had one roll that was chicken. The fried rice n noodled had only cabbage as vegetables. The machow soup was just stock n some vegetables. No taste, no.colour. overall worst.chinese ever. Will.never ever order again! Used to be good pre.covid times. Management changed and nowhere close.to.original. waste of.money n appetite. This was our second time at Lee's wok and disappointed again. The food delivered was late although our house is jus 10 mins away. We called and even suggested we pick up the food. We had ordered veg hakka noodles and veg fried rice which didn't have any vegetables in them. The quantity was very less. The fried noodles that come as accompaniment for the soup was so soft. Truly disappointed and for sure will not recommend to any one nor order again.

Ordered lunch this afternoon from Lee's work. The food was tasty and arrived warm. The prices are reasonable. I have realized that in those cases where Zomato does not do the delivery and the delivery is managed directly by the restaurant the delivery times are stretched and the delivery inevitably arrives much later than what was told at the time of placing the order.

Update on most recent order placed on 25/5: Had the misfortune of ordering again (dunno what I was thinking). After accepting the order they called and said two dishes were not available. Shouldn't accept the order to begin with guys if you don't have the dishes!!. Then replaced the two dishes (which were discounted btw because of the promo they ran on tbe overall order) with one dish at non discounted price. Also offered to send a complimentary sweet dish. Fair enough. Was hungry and didn't wanted to argue. When the order arrived I discovered that soft drinks were missing (which I paid for). Didn't send the complimentary sweet dish they so graciously offered as well lol. No refund for the soft drinks. No apologies. A mismanaged affair and perhaps my last oder from them. Previous Order Placed a Months Back: order to receiving the food was approx 2 hours.

The delivery guy showed up without any ID and I had to get down to collect the order, doing so I just reprimanded him that he should not forget his ID next time, But he instead of saying sorry, suggests me to write a very long complaint email!! Lee’s wok is truly achieving its Indo-Chinese cuisine, the restaurant has many great aspects . The quality of the dishes is great, each and every dish has its own great taste and flavor, it also has various different varieties in different cuisines such as Malaysian and Thai cuisine.Now about the quantity… the quantity is great as well, one dish can be enough for 3-5 people. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, there is a window which allows the guests to see their food being cooked in the kitchen although this may seem fun sometimes watching the food being cooked isn’t always nice to see, there a a few more negative points about this restaurant like- the service in the restaurant was a bit off and not quite right and lastly there is less seating space in the restaurant itself but it doesn’t host a large crowd so that’s ok .

Sweet and sour chicken tasted like it had half a can of tomato ketchup in it no flavour whatsoever and semi cooked chicken. Fried rice was barely fried. Overall not worth the price at all and not even average tasting food, the only good item was the dumplings. No value for money here, disappointed.

Located in Discovery Gardens, this place is a hidden gem. The restaurant is small with well-spaced seating and decor which gives it a good feel. It is a combination of two restaurants under one roof. We started with some Virgin Colada and Fresh lime soda. The drinks were served warm and lacked the punch and taste. For the appetizers, we ordered Dry Paneer chili and Prawn tempura. Although the Dry paneer chili was super delicious, the prawn tempura disappointed us with its crumbly outer coating. The main course consisted of Sizzling paneer and exotic vegetable sizzler, veg Thai green curry with some steamed rice, Chicken Hakka noodles and sauted prawn with cashew nut. At this point, we felt the service had become a little slow. The gravies were brought way before the rice and noodles and my request for schezwan fried rice in the sizzler was not completed. The food was delicious and we highly recommend the Thai green curry for it's close to authentic taste. Despite the wide range of desserts mentioned on the menu, they only had honey banana pancakes in stock. The fried and stuffed pancakes were a little messy to eat but are totally worth the price. Overall it was a nice experience dining at Lee's wok. Looking forward to coming back for more. Quite delicious food! We visited Lee's Wok in Discovery Gardens, Dubai for a weekend lunch as we had heard a lot about it. There is quite a lot of seating. The interiors are overdone a bit, giving it a but gaudy look - they could do with a blend of colors. Here is a review of what we tasted: 1. Beverages: Lime soda - It was quite good. Virgin colada - This was a total letdown. There was no balance between the pineapple flavor and the coconut milk. 2. Starters: Tempura prawn - The outer covering was too thin and falling off when picked. The prawns were fresh and tasty. The accompanying sauce did not go well with the prawn. 3. Main course: Hakka noodles with chicken - This was a tasty and satisfying dish with a hint of chili. I enjoyed it. Kung pao chicken - It was well presented and delicious. 4. Dessert: We had the fried banana pancakes with vanilla icecream - the fried pancakes were too hard and the banana filling was mushy. The staff is polite and friendly. The ambience is quite nice but can be improved. Free and paid parking is available in the Discovery gardens area. Visited Lee's wok also a part of Gabbar's Grill for lunch the other day. The ambience is nice and Vibrant with comfortable seating. We ordered the following Prawns Tempura - Really Really nice. The right amount of crispy outside and tender prawns inside. It is just amazing and well done. Chicken and Prawns Shumai - Really made to perfection. Loved both the Shumais. Super soft with yummy chicken and prawns inside. Green Thai Curry and Rice - Really nice. Not spicy but flavorful with a nice coconut punch. Generous amount of chicken and tastes just heavenly with Jasmine Rice. Quantity is also good. Loved the foood! Good quality and quantity. Friendly staff and good service. Will explore other items soon.

The restaurant initially refused to accept Zomato Gold as per normal policy and confirmed that the management has defined a different set of rules for Zomato Gold. They came up with a bizarre concept where discount can only be availed as Starter against starter, Rice against rice, Soup against soup and Curry against curry. All thanks to Zomato Team for promptly resolving the issue by calling the restaurant and making them honor the standard policy. Though Zomato penalized them to make the highest dish complementary but the restaurant did not abide to it and made the dish complementary with the lowest price. Though i paid the bill to not to further accelerate the issue but Zomato Team was kind enough to follow up if everything went well. On informing what had happened they requested a copy of the bill paid and ensured to take necessary action against the restaurant. Thank you Zomato❤️

Horrible service. Food arrived after an hour and half of ordering. I called the restaurant multiple times and they did not pick up, furthermore the Zomato CS rep tried to contact them and even he/she couldn't reach them. I had already cancelled the order and when I informed the delivery person of the same, he called the restaurant and they threatened to deduct money from his salary despite the fact that food was handed over to him later that it should have been. I was guilt tripped into accepting and pay for the food that I did not want anymore.

I am in complete bewilderment as to what’s going on with Lee’s Wok’s management. My family & I went to LW for dinner using the Entertainer b1g1 free option. The server informed us that the voucher is only valid for main course items such as rice/noodles and gravy and we ordered:- 2 chicken fried rice, 1 munchurian, and 1 chilli chicken. However, once we went to pay the bill to the cashier- he just accepted 1 entertainer- citing that rice/noodles are not part of main course- the complete opposite of what the server mentioned initially. Also, since where are rice/noodles NOT part of the main course, is what i don’t understand.! Even though the food is good, our dining experience was marred because of their mismanagement.

Verdict per dish: Beef Kare-Kare: Can’t even understand how this becomes such a dish. Beef cuts are too small and I feel like they came from a leftover cuts. There were only few string beans that were cut into tiny pieces which is not even the right cut. Haven’t seen any other vegetables which is a total failure. It tastes odd Prawn Tempura: Just by looking at it, you know that it was not prepared correctly. First of all, it’s not crispy. It’s super oily, as the extra oil settles at the bottom of the container. I don’t think that they used strainer for this. Even the bread crumbs are all over it which isn’t supposed to be served, as well. The Prawn is frozen because the meat is too stiff. Calamari: Funniest ever that I have seen. Not crispy at all. The taste is super odd. Tastes like Doritos which is not supposed to be Total failure! I won’t ever ever order from this restaurant again.

Ordered food thru zomato , paid money online .They kept lying about the delivery time , despite follow ups no concerte answer. And worst of all tbe attitude of the person atvrestaurant was too bad. Food was good and affordable, however driver was just impolite. I ordered paying with my zomato credits and credit card.After delivering my food and asking him if that what he was handing was my receipt, I closed the door after getting my food. After a few minutes,someone was repeatedly ringing my flat's doorbell. When my flatmate opened, it was the driver and was raising his voice saying the food has not been paid for. Funny, the restaurant should have given him the information that it was already paid before leaving for his delivery. Food is well cooked and all but the bad rating is for an impolite driver who should have called his store first before starting an argument with a customer.

Lee’s Wok is a casual dining restaurant located in Discovery Gardens, at a stone’s throw from Ibn Battuta Mall. Serving Pan Asian cuisine, it shares it dining space with Gabbar’s Grills, which specialises in cuisine from the northern part of India. What I find intriguing is that they have tried to keep the authenticity of the food that they offer by having two different kitchens and different cooks for both the cuisines.

I ordered Tapsilog and Pininyahang Manok today. Not only did it took almost 2 HOURS for food to reach my apartment, almost all the sauce for the Pininyahang Manok spilled onto the plastic bag. Whoever prepared the food used a cover that did not fit or was too big for the container. This is the 4th or 5th time I ordered something where the sauce/soup has spilled onto the bag. Also, their "Sinigang Na Hipon" doesn't taste like the authentic Filipino sinigang. Not even close. I didn't even realize that it was a sinigang until the person who ordered told me that it was a sinigang na hipon.

Went here last Wednesday for dinner. Had ordered 2 manchow soup along with a tom yum soup and sweet corn soup. I disliked the machow soup as it was literally chicken broth with maybe some soy sauce and had no taste. The other 2 soups were decent. Theirs starters on the other were very good, which was the dry chilli chicken and the salt and pepper chicken. For main course I had ordered the kung pao and black bean chicken. Black bean chicken was disappointing whereas the kung pao was good. For dessert I had ordered the horrible mango sticky rice. The service is the reason for my low review. Even with the restaurant being empty the waiters were just lazy and not even polite.

Great veg choices.. usually you do not much veg choices in Chinese cuisine.. they have some mouth watering choices...ordered baby corn, black mushroom in garlic sauce.. great taste..chilli paneer gravy with rice was very tasty.. believe they have Indian kitchen too.. will try that next time..

This place is my secret little Chinese eatery. Fantastic food for an awesome price point. Been ordering here ever since my old favorite closed down. Portions are massive, especially with the noodles. Do be careful when ordering as it's deceptively easy to over order. I usually order Chicken Hakka Noodles and mix my noodles with a gravy-based Chicken dish such as Chilli Chicken or Kung Pao Chicken. Noodles are fresh, you can taste it. They aren't greasy and have a bit of a 'snap' when you bite into them - a mark of correct cooking technique. Chicken dishes are always delivered piping hot and always taste great and full of flavor. There's a familiar taste which reminds me of Calcutta Chinese food and that's always a plus. Delivery is quick, on time and I haven't had any issues regarding wrong delivery.

first time to try the restaurant and it wont be the last . we order the sweet chili potato which was amazing , the sweet and sour chicken was a bit sweet but overall good, the mangolian beef was juicy and tasty and the veg hakka noddles was great

I was looking for a nice Asian food and came across the name of this restaurant with very good reviews. I decided to order and give it a go and was pleasantly surprised that their food didn’t disappoint! Their food is delicious and the servings are also very good and at reasonable prices. Kudos to the chefs! Just please tell your driver to be careful as one time I received my order in quite a mess. With that being said, everything else is great and will definitely be a one frequent customer.

Ordered for office lunch today for group of 8 ppl. First of all I was very pleased with the customer service. The staff who attended my call and took my orders was extremely helpful. I bugged him with back to back calls but he dint flinch a bit. Really appreciated. He followed all my instructions accurately and we received the food on time. Coming to the food. It was just perfect . Right quantity , flavour , oil and portion. It had everything that you would expect in indo chinese food. It was spicy and delicious and with minimal oil. Order was veg and chicken schezwan fried rice, veg and chicken manchurian and veg and chicken glass noodles. Not many places in Dubai do glass noodles in veg. I was happy to find that option here . Tasted good. Prices are mid range. If you have entertainer its great. Its one of the rare places which I found suited my indo chinese pallate in Dubai. Definately ordering again and again ...

A small little place but perfect for the days you don’t want to cook or have a party that requires a lot of tasty starters. I’ve been ordering from this place since I came across an advert on Groupon last year. Since then have ordered so many dishes for parties and have personally come here to eat. The main courses are okay but the starters are delicious. So definitely recommend to take most of the starters than main course.

Recently at our visit to Lee's Wok, we savoured into two different cuisines, indo-chinese from Lee wok and indian from Gabbar Grill. This chic restaurant has a great ambience and is quite welcoming. Both the restaurants have separate chefs for the specialized cuisines. We totally enjoyed every bit of everything that we ordered. From the indo-chinese counter we decided to indulge in a beef sizzler and we were left salvaging with its irresistibly delicious sauce that complimented the beef just perfect which was succulent and tender. The sizzler is served with two side options, either, noodles or fried rice & we opted for the fried rice which to our amaze well went with the whole dish and it was quite fulfilling. Our another favourite at any indo-chinese restaurant is definitely gotta be the hakka noodles and it was surely not a disappoint. It was silky, perfectly tossed and smooth. Every dish has 2-3 options to choose from either veg, chicken or beef. The restautrant, lees wok is 5 years old, however, gabbar's grill is just their new endeavour. Gabbar's Grill is an authentic Indian restaurant serving the flavours of Indian food. We cudn't resist ourselves to try a dish from their menu as well. We gave the Tandoors Grill a shot and every item on the dish was toothsome. Every chicken and mutton pieces were succulent and we'll marinated with right amount of spices. Our favourite definitely were the drumsticks. Thank You for having us over.

After trying Gabbar grills we could not resist trying the Chinese options either so we were back again. Its a combined restaurant with two separate kitchens offering Indian and #Chinese cuisine under one roof. The restaurant is decently sized who can accommodate three to four large groups at once. We ordered in from Lee’s wok. I was quite surprised to see chowmein in the menu. Don’t usually get that, that easily. That wasn’t the only surprise though. I expected the food to be greasy and hard on the stomach. But it wasn’t. The portions are just about right. We ordered two noodles and 3 starters. All vegetarian. It was just right for 4 people. As someone who rarely orders vegetarian food, this one was really good.

To be honest, I would give 3.5* but I am unable to do so coz of Zomato ratings. Lees Wok is a cozy little restaurant serving some good Asian food in a friendly and inviting ambiance. This place shares its dining space with Gabbars Grill though both have separate kitchens. So, it becomes an apt place to sample Chinese and Asian cuisine from Lees Wok along with Indian delicacies from Gabbars Grill. The decor is beautiful communion of Indian and Chinese where bandhani sarees are combined with tradition red Chinese drapes, both the Chinese fans and Indian artifacts used to adorn the walls. We started off with crispy corn, Thai Papaya Salad and a lemon mint cooler. Now lemon mint cooler was a regular drink, nothing much to rave about. Thai papaya salad, on the other hand was just okay, little soggy by the time we had that(may be we clicked pics first) but somehow it was just a normal salad and I have had a better Thai salad. Crispy corn was simply ah-mazing, textured corns crisped to perfection with mild spices and was an instant hit amongst us. It was super addictive and was nibbled in a jiffy. For mains we had Thai green curry along with steamed jasmine rice. Thai curry has an apt medley of spices, flavors and vegetables and it complemented perfectly with jasmine rice. I quiet liked their veg Thai Curry. As we had partly ordered from Gabbars Grill too we could not savor much from Lees Wok. Service was very friendly. Overall this place can be a regular place for takeaways around the neighboring areas or a dining hangout spot for friends and family alike. Certainly Recommended if around that area...

Tried for first time, brilliant street style Chinese food! So incredibly fresh, bursting with flavors, the recommended dry chili chicken was the bomb, the black bean fish curry was polished between me and my husband, the vegetable Hakka noodle loaded with crunchy vegetables, the vegetables in brown garlic sauce was phenomenal and the shiitake mushrooms in it! Wow! Blown away. Really. the left overs were devoured the next day. Happy to have found an authentic Indo-Chinese spot after long.

Discovery Gardens made me discover this little restaurant. Always with lovely staff and vibe, I started the meal with Tom Yum Soup. A very light soup with Chicken and lemongrass. It was delicious. We then had Prawns Shumai. The chilli dip is the best! For mains, we had Mixed seafood sizzler, Mongolian beef, and Lee's Special Mixed Noodles. A great combination of dishes with lovely flavour. I liked the Mongolian beef the best. Ended the meal with Mango with Sticky Rice. Can this dessert be any better?

Nice place and great food. Tiny restaurant in Gardens 5 rearside, should have a catching spot. The sizzling chicken platter and american chopsuey we had were really yummy. Worth to visit and see ya next time to try the Gabber’s menu.

Lee’s wok and Gabbar Grills are like two peas in a pod inspired from the idea that some amazing food from two different backgrounds will be served under one roof. However, if you go to zomato then there you will see these two as separate entities. The interiors are funky and instagrammable. Let food do the talking!

Lees wok is a place that serves some indo chinese food to satiate those desi Chinese cravings, but also has some dishes that are authentic. The wall hangings, bruce lee kicks as photos and much more create the vibe of a small little wok place. We started of with a spicy lohan vegetarian dumpling, which was generous in size and good in taste. I liked the overall taste of the momo with the chutney on the side (it was spicy and added a good kick to my dish). We then had a crispy corn starter and oh my, this was one very close to what one could expect at AB’s (absolute barbecue). It has normal corn and fried one too, the overall texture was great. It was crunchy and delicious and we had many servings of this one. We then had the thai green curry and rice. While the items were freshly prepared, this is one dish that I seemed to enjoy a bit less. I was hoping for a richer flavor . But again it was a hit amongst others with whom I shared the meal. We ended the meal on a sweet note with some Mango sticky rice. This dessert was right amount of sweet and a hit for those who love mangoes. Prompt service ans friendly staff.
