Sorry to say but one of the worst service seen in my 22 years of Dubai life...south Indian people specially keralites are know for serving food in the smallest of the restaurants with so much love that if the food is not good u will still enjoy.<br/><br/>But here the guys were least bothered and it was as though they were serving us for the sake it .<br/><br/>Landed up at around 2.20 pm<br/>Out table was prebooked for 15 people but when we entered there was no table ..<br/><br/>They gave us a table at almost 2.45<br/>Then to take order another 15 minutes<br/><br/>When food atarted coming it was only bits and pieces<br/>All curries were cold<br/>Appam served was cold<br/>When we had curry there was no appam<br/>And when we had appam there was no curry.<br/><br/>People who came after us(another group of 10-12) people were served earlier then us becos they were keralites and spoke language .<br/><br/>Even after complaining to the manager and the guy in charge there was no change in the attitudes<br/><br/>And after half hour after we started to eat and complaining by our whole group they started getting hot food .<br/><br/>Really very upset about the whole thing .<br/>

A great place to hangout. Good music and lovely interiors. Had the classic chicken patty burger, chicken nachos and an oreo dark chocolate shake which turned out to be extremely filling for a reasonable amount. Hospitality of the staff is commendable, hyperactive in addressing the customers. Wonderful experience! Recommend it.

Very bad dine-in experience...ordered appam, mutton curry(recommended by waiter) and fish mango curry... Fish tasted n smelt bad... Appam & mutton curry were served COLD...asked them to reheat the curry...they just put some curry leaves on top and served the same COLD curry...meanwhile we ordered puttu... After waiting for 10 minutes they informed that puttu will take another 15-20 minutes... They should have informed us when we placed the order in the first place...Tea was also not hot...<br/>Either their oven isn't working or they simply don't take the customers seriously...<br/>If you expect a minimum quality for the money you pay, don't even think about stepping into Nila Restaurant, Dubai branch...<br/>"NILA RESTAURANT, THE PLACE WHERE FOOD IS SERVED ICE COLD"!!!<br/>

We had to finally contend with the items they had asked us to take.<br/>Food was fine anyways . Visited this place for lunch today. We ordered Seafood Sadhya which was yum. Enjoyed the crab, prawn n all the other delicious dishes served. <br/>The staff weren’t very approachable, asked for a plate(for our child) and finally got the plate after 15 mins and that too after repeatedly asking and asking(more than 10times). We were there around 2pm and the place wasn’t crowded too, so seriously don’t understand the delay (15 mins) to just get a plate. At the end of the meal, no payasam was served and I had to ask for it ! <br/>Servers need to be more attentive and attend to customers needs. <br/>Will rate the restaurant a 3/5 only because of the service provided ! <br/>Management kindly do the needful so you can have customers visit your restaurant again! <br/>

What we love about this restaurant is their fish mango curry!! Absolutely love how they serve this dish cuz it still is boiling as it reaches your table, and the quantity is perfect for 3. In all the indian restaurants ive tried this is so far the best fish mango curry!

Just had a weekend family dinner here..I have visited the place a few times in the past as well. Honestly the food is always very tasty; and even today all of us thoroughly enjoyed and devoured it. The only trouble was the extremely slow service. We felt sorry for the staff as we could see they were terribly understaffed; they were indeed trying their best. Definitely not their fault. <br/><br/>I’m happy to give a 5 star review for the place as the food is quite good any day and affordable too. But the wait killed our appetite. <br/><br/>We had appam, wheat paratha, Kerala mutton curry, fish molly and mushroom masala. It was great.<br/>The soups on the other hand - mushroom and mutton; were not much appreciated. <br/><br/>Overall, indeed a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Oh ! They have amazing unlimited kerala style sea food thali on Fridays for Dhs 35 ! A must try !

Used to visit this restaurant on a daily basis as it was nearby my workplace. Their meals are absolutely good and highly economical. The thalassery biryani is a winner aswell. We visited this place last Friday night.. since it was weekend,It was a last minute plan as we were really hungry and looking for some good south Indian food.<br/>Had ordered chicken lollipops for starters and for main course we ordered appams, beef fry, Malabar chicken curry and Chicken roast (semi gravy)<br/>The lollipops were amazing with a touch of Indian spices 5/5 for that one.<br/>The beef and coconut fry were to die for(must try)!!!<br/>Appams were nice and soft and crispy on the outside the way it should be 😍<br/>The chicken gravy dishes were really spicy for our taste buds.. after a certain point we couldn’t finish it completely.<br/>To finish it off we ordered a cup of tea😅<br/>Fruit salad with ice cream(Amazing👍🏻)<br/>We wanted to try the tender coconut soufflé which is a speciality but it wasn’t available as it was almost midnight.<br/>Staff was really friendly and good service provided even at midnight😄<br/>Overall a good experience but food was a bit spicier than our liking.<br/>Ambience 5/5<br/>VFM 4/5<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Service 5/5<br/><br/>Will surely visit again to try more keralite dishes🙂<br/>

The food was fresh and served hot. <br/><br/>Our only complain was that the Thai Mango Salad had way too much sugar added to it, it was almost like having a desert with Onion and Chillies to it which is not a bad idea if you want to feel healthy by eating a salad but you are also secretly feeding into your sugar craving. <br/><br/>No pictures were taken of the food because we we were extremely hungry and the food was over before I thought about it.

Friday morning walked in for breakfast. it was more than disaster. I only advised the team member please dont open the door if you are not ready to serve your customers. NOTHING CAME ON time.<br/>we were three. all items came at different intervals.....SAD. there are couple of restaurants on same side you should your staff for training how to operate a standard outlet and customer oriented. I visit this restaurant quite often. They have good variety in their menu. Another good aspect is that the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Also the restaurant is very economical and last but not the least the taste is also really good. We ordered lemon grilled fish and crab varutharachathu along with appam. Sharing the pics below.

Visited this place to celebrate my nephew's birthday.<br/>Had a buffet there and the dishes were pretty good...<br/>The fried items were really good.. but the curry needed much more improvement....<br/>The best about the food was the dessert... the tender coconut pudding... it was exquisite... it tasted sooo good that i had about 4 bowls of it... it was awesome..<br/>One issue i noticed was the seating.. it was soo tightly packed that you coudnt move around with bumping into something...<br/>But overall a good place and would recommend this place for a good family meal..

Ordered food on Thursday evening from Nila qusais. The food arrives after 1 hour and 20 minutes. When we open the Mushroom curry it has a bad smell and tastes old . The mushroom curry was old and gone bad and reheated and sent to us. They also were not reachable on phone when we called at 10.30 pmThey need to reported to Municipality for sending old gone bad food by reheating. Horrible experience

Both Worth it for the price and quantity wise. <br/><br/>One drawback noticed is , as there are two areas divided for people to sit, as soon as you enter towards the left side area , there aren't many service people to take orders that side. Only 1 guy is on charge . May be will have to add 1 other for serving the dishes and taking orders that side. So that people don't have to wait so long for giving the orders and getting food. <br/><br/>Food wise . It's a very good place. <br/>

It was good in the beginning but the greed takes over as usual. Had kerala lunch recently and no fish curry along with it nstead they serve the gravy just like sambar. Any fish fry chosen, cost added and for a meal it will just go up to 20dhs. Just the greedy way of hiking the price. Doesn't bother about the price if one serves you the real quality and quantity instead of trying to trick the customers to pay extra.

Kerala restaurant with some traditional kerala style food. We ordered ghee rice , nadan chicken curry and beef fry . Also tried their mango and apple pickle which I found was too watery. The service was bad with tantrums thrown out at the customers. I'm of the opinion that they need to focus on treating the customer well to gear up their business. Overall it was a bad experience . Not coming back.

The best thing about here is you will always get a table.. but that should not take away any credits for their dishes. <br/>The staff do need a pat on the back for their smiling faces. And the mango juice in a bulb. <br/>All the dishes were good enough and would recommend this place.<br/><br/>The online order too was satisfactory....

Quite an OK place for south indian and especially keralite cuisine. The food is reasonable good and not very expensive. The ambiance is OK for a family dine in.

Last Friday I have tried this restaurant by ordering a parcel through Zomato. I ordered Lemon Grilled Chicken and Pothi Biryani Chicken and Lemon Juice. The order was delivered in a reasonable time. The food was delicious. Both the Lemon Grilled Chicken and Pothi Biryani was really tasty and quantity also was good. <br/><br/>Overall I would rate the restaurant with 4 /5.

My colleague had ordered food from here. The belief system at this restaurant is that if you add more oil the flavour instantly pops up. Hard reality .... it doesn't... it's just swimming in oil. .. be it a beef curry or a veg kadaai... breakfast and their egg roast is more like a coconut curry... the only saving grace was the podhuchor parcels which is plenty and hunger fulfilling.<br/><br/>Two words for the food ... not impressed

Pathetic delivery. Took almost 2.5 hours for delivery... Overall a BAD EXPERIENCE.. If anyone is looking to order food for lunch, please do so along with your breakfast so that u don't have to have it for dinner.

They have very bad delivery. It will take 2.30 hrs for a delivery every time and also when we call them regarding this every time they will give " will start now..will start now..."If u want on time delivery do not choose this restaurant.

First time ordered meals and pothi biriyani. Deliverey was on time. Meals was above average and biriyani tasted average. <br/><br/>Felt the quantity and quality was less comparing other restaurants pothi biriyani. <br/>I believe it's with average standards. <br/>
