Restaurant located in JLT. We have ordered biryanis, boneless chicken zafrani biryani and the egg zafrani biryani. Biryani is very tasty without any excess masala. We usually order for mutton biryani, pieces of mutton in the biryani is soft and succulent. This time we tried chicken biryani and that was okay, i feel mutton biryani is much better here. Pricing is pretty decent.

I ordered the Biryani what they call it unforgettable, the menu looks interesting but food taste was worse not close to biryani I wouldn’t like or recommend someone to this place as I had this experience twice. Rice wasn’t well cooked and there was smell in chicken, looks like that I wasn’t properly done. There must be quality check before sending or presenting to customer.

One of the finest restaurant to have authentic pakistani food fit for kings as their tagline goes. My favourite here is always biryani.mutton biryani is my most favourite . Biryani is perfectly cooked and flavoured.served with a raita.which makes the biryani more tastier.the moment they open biryani looking so good ,the smell make me more hungrier. Sorry to say the name doesn't match the food. I ordered mutton zafrani biryani and I was highly disappointed. The meat had a raw taste to it. I don't think i might try it again in a long time. Nothing unforgettable. Can do better guys.

While the proposition of an unforgettable Biryani was tempting, I tried the chicken Nihari instead as I was in mood for something spicy. The dish didn’t disappoint. It was delivered in time, was tasty (bit oily but that’s how Niharis are especially if you make them spicy). Overall, a good value for money

The best thing that I like about this Biryani joint is its location - close to where we gather every Friday. I like the fact that it is very walkable. The next best thing is the guy at the counter. Twice we visited together with my husband who was already a loyal patron for a long time, it was a shame I forgot to ask his name. If I'm his boss, I would give him a raise for his exceptional level of customer service. He is smiling, positive, courteous, remembers our previous orders with sharp accuracy, and eager to serve. I've been working with the F&B industry for more than 3 years and I really think there are people who are gifted in customer service, it's like their second nature and Mr Counter Guy is one of those and I think he will go far in life because of his attitude.As for the food, I am not big on Biryani but my husband obviously is. Contrary to my husband, I'm just a regular person with a regular palate, can tolerate a certain low level of spicyness and that's it. My usual unaltered order is "Chicker Zafran Biryani (chicken w/ bones, not spicy). IMO, it was still a little bit spicy but my husband said that Biryani is inherently spicy that way. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed my food, the yoghurt and the caramelized onion on top (tastes really good). The serving size is good for 2 people but my husband finished his extra spicy Biryani order on his own. On our first visit, the ventilation was not properly working, the kitchen smoke "stung" my eyes (I also experienced this with "Griller" in Barsha) and the owner who was there and Mr Counter Guy were very apologetic about it - something I appreciate. On our second visit, it wasn't there as much as the first but I still feel a bit of sting in my eyes. I applaud them for improving things and actually listening to their customers. I hope that on our next visit, this would be completely addressed. I should also remember to take food photos next time.

A small place but i must say Jamal the host was very welcoming, very polite and quick on his feet! The food was good too. We had ordered a Biryani and got the original spice level which was just perfect! The chicken was tender and the masala was indeed original and interesting. I would definitely recommend people trying it! My friends loved the sweet lasi and the chicken curry as well. I would def give it a 4.5! 😁

delivery came in time but the delivery guy didn't want to leave the order, waiting for me to pay it, although the payment eas already made through the application. i called the restaurant, put the phone on speaker so that he could hear, and the restaurant confirmed that the order is paid. the delivery guy still didn't want to leave the order. i told him to leave. one of the other employees from the restaurant came back to apologise and brought the order, but the attitude was horrible. i will never order from this restaurant. i have been therr in the past, food is not bad, but this case really calncelled all the hunger.

Interesting take on a biryani restaurant. the owners claim it's unlike any other biryani because it's based on a family recipe, and i have to say.. it hits the mark. the fact that you can customize the biryani in terms of spiciness and add additional meat (paid) makes it a very unique for desi places. Its almost like a "design your own biryani" concept. very cool. the place itself is cozy and run by the owners, who are a lovely couple from Pakistan. If you can catch them there, they make for lovely conversation as well. all in all, a definite go-to place on a regular basis.

Unless ordering for 2 pax, it doesn't worth it. Minimum order is Aed40/- GOOD: Gajjar Halwa(Really Nice), Customer Service, Good Quantity and Reasonable Delivery Time. BAD: Chicken biryani only had the color of Karachi Biryani but not the taste. It wasn't bad biryani though but it wasn't the Karachi Biryani. TIP: If you are trying to serve Karachi Biryani, serve Karachi raita with it, at least. Not Dubai's fake thin yogurt with few chunks of cucumber in it. And who charges for an Aloo in 26dhs Biryani? (these guys do) Come on!!

Unforgettable Biriyani : The name says it all actually!! For a person born and brought up in India, I would say that I have earned my right to tell a good biriyani from a bad one! (PS: I am quite picky when it comes to food which holds quite a lot of sentiment personally speaking ) That being said, food is usually a matter of 'personal taste' and preference. Therefore, we have so much variety in what we indulge in. Here's my take on the vegetable biriyani I had for lunch: FOOD The biriyani was laced in the sweet aroma of saffron and the long grain rice was the right kinds of fluffy. The spices, mildly balanced, gave the perfect company to the soft and well done vegetables. Not to forget the raita, which could give any wingman a run for their money. Basically the best sidekick ever! It managed to calm down the biriyani whenever it would try to take on a fancy ride over the taste buds. I just wished they had bigger chunks of potatoes though since I happen to be a huge potato lover. AMBIANCE Its a very cozy diner and everything is very compact indoors, ideal for a small group. I preferred the patio seats since the weather was quite good that day and i had a very relaxed time sitting alone relishing the biriyani overlooking the dubai skyline and the many palm trees. Whats not to love! SERVICE Again a knockout! The guy named Jamal (he is from peshawar) took my order and asked me 'how did i like my biriyani' - i wanted to say "I like it flavourful and mildly spiced with a side of a hundred thousand dollars" but skipped the side part while ordering for it ;) In less than ten minutes my biriyani came in looking 'oh so beautiful' and put a big smile on my face! Once i was done eating, Jamal came in again to check whether i liked the biriyani or not! Isn't it just so wonderful when someone just goes out the extra mile to make you feel special. I know I did feel very happy having dined and the best part was my interaction with Tabassum, the lovely lady who owns the restaurant. One chat with her and you would know that she serves 'love on a plate' and 'not just food'. Needless to say I'm going to go back again!

I went through almost all the positive and negative reviews before ordering. There were extreme ratings of 1 and 5. I ordered one Chicken Boneless Zafrani Biryani with a drink and got a complementary Gajjar ka Halwa due to my treats membership. Well my take is that there are so many versions of Biryani's regionally so everyone has their own expectations. My take for the Biryani is that it is a layered Biryani so you need to mix it up well. People complaining about the spices have obviously ate the top layer first. And yes in authentic Biryani there is Oil ka tarka which is required to bring out the aroma. The only reason I have not given 5 is there were no potatoes in this version of Biryani but then again people would say who puts Potatoes in Biryani? Again there are various versions of Biryani so I like the one with Potatoes. The Chicken was properly cooked and the quantity of both rice and chicken were more then enough for one person do take my word for it as I am a foodie and certainly my body figure shows it easily. The delivery time was great again because I ordered at 12 rather then at 1 and expecting to come on time when peak deliveries are going on. They had properly prepared a tissue, fork, spoon and knife in one pack and another spook for the Halwa. I had commented to provide me with a Diet Cola which was not in their menu and I got it, So these small things really counted apart from the great taste. Raita quantity was very less for me as I put too much raita in my biryani as compared to the normal person, I am sure if I had requested more they would have given it. The point being that the peak load time is when they need to really show the same level of quality and service which has been an issue in the reviews I read. Finally people have been blaming the owner of this business in replying back aggressively which yes is correct at times but at the same time she needs to, as it is her brand and she needs to watch out for it. I think they have done a great job considering the limited choices that are available at JLT. And the price is justified for the community they are serving in at. If I am in the neighborhood and in mood for a biryani I would definitely order from here with an additional bowl of raita!!!! ;) :)

We have discovered this restaurant in our neighbour. Started with authentic scale i.e. Biryani. Mutton Zafrani Biryani very good. Mutton was well done, Rice was Basmati another plus point. Spices enhanced the taste. Neat and clean, proper seating both inside and out side plus point is that this opening towards north which is comfortable against the solar heat. Service very good.

The single most element of this biryani would be the quantity, its mighty and sufficient for two. The pricing is economic and the delivery time is quick too. Placed an order for veg Zafrani biryani for lunch a couple of days ago. Biryani arrived it my doorstep piping hot and the aroma was divine. The biryani tasted nice (moderately spicy) and the vegetables in it were cooked to perfection. The raita that came with it, although small in portion, given the mighty size of the biryani, tasted fresh and went well with the biryani. Will I be ordering from here again: Yes, I will :)!

The food at Unforgettable Biryani is simply splendid. Its one of those small restaurants that aims to please every customer that visits.The staff is extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable and gave me a sense of priority (which is rare in restaurants especially during times of lunch or dinner)I ordered the:- Chicken Zafraan Biryani- Green Chutney Roll- Aloo ParathaThe food was top class. It was the perfect amount of spice and the favours where simply exquisite. Ordered a chicken and mutton biryani from here. It was nothing like a biryani. The rice was dry and spices were undercooked gave away a raw taste. The meat tasted old (both chicken and mutton) to an extend that I took one bite each and threw it all into the garbage. Being a biryani fan, I could confidently say it is not worth ordering from this restaurant. Indeed very Unforgettable Biryani experience!

In a nut shell, The biryani just takes you back home :) Being an expat it is truly one of those little pleasures in life that one can only understand when one's away from home. Tried the Saffron Boneless Biryani for lunch. We were greeted very well and were served within minutes of ordering so service was good and the place is very neat and clean so overall 9/10 for ambiance and cleanliness One of the other things that I really noticed was that when ordering, they have the spice-meter in their menu which was very welcoming since I always go through the struggle of having to explain other eateries to make my food spicy and you know what, it becomes quite cumbersome after some time. But here, the waiter asked us beforehand with regards to the spiciness and being a Karachiite we're very accustomed to having a really good spicy Biryani and this place just hit that sweet-spot especially with added touch of the saffron aroma. Taste and spiciness 9.5/10 In terms of quantity and the meat to rice ratio, The serving is very generous and good enough for two people. The Quantity of meat is good enough that one doesn't have to actually "hunt" for those succulent boneless pieces of chicken. (9.5/10) A particular thing that I found very interesting is that the actual owners are part of the team. So they are very On ground when it comes to what a customer may need/want and are quite accommodating. I ordered one veg and one mutton biryani. What i got was not biryani at all. Tasted like south indian rice on curry. I saw many positive and negative reviews that is why i gave it a try. Btw i am from Karachi so i know what a good biryani tastes like. My advice is visit dum pukht restaurant which is adjacent to this but serves one of the best biryanis in Dubai.

Craving for Biryani? Well the best of Biryani's tasted so far. Would recommend it during lunch hours, a lot to digest in the evening, its incredibly amazing that you would want to finish it all up (Depending on one's Appetite :p). Had ordered about 10 of the Chicken Biryani Combos at workplace, and we got it delivered just right! (Warm). Each colleague had delightful & positive & distinctive comments. Would love to visit the place and try out different items. Highly recommendable for a Biryani Lover. :D :) PS: Would have posted a photo, but the food was mouth-watering, so couldn't make it to our phones for a picture.

I've tried biryani from a lot of places, but tbh not even exaggerating but I really want to forget the biryani I had from here. Tasted awful, and the quality of mutton was not good at all. I felt that I was eating plain rice and spice that's it. Overall I was not happy with the place. Shany does not approve ❌

Ordered the mutton biryani as it was highly recommended by the order taker. It completely lacked flavour, spice or aroma. Surprisingly the quantity of rice was good but had bones instead of meat. Was like eating steam salted rice with bones. JLT definitely has better biryani to offer in other restaurants than compared to this.... disappointing

Gajjar ka halwa 5 out of 5 , boneless chicken zafrani biryani please advice chef to cook chicken properly as i feel smells as well as salty , it's an advice otherwise I love the biryani because not oily and as per my request food was less spicy and they delivered food early.

I ordered mutton karahi with 2 chappatis and 7up. What i received was one mutton karahi 50% cooked woth hell of oil and 2 chapattis. No 7up😳 . I will not order any food from here. Poor quality food with missingn items. Non serious way to do business. They dont care what they are sending. Strongly not recommended due to poor service and quality of food. I ordered for veg zafrani biryani and vegetable roll. The quantity of the biryani was quite generous and the raita quantity was good enough for that portion size of biryani( usually it's just 3-4 spoonful when I tried at other restaurants, may be they would save huge amounts by cutting down on raita quantity). I have rated this place average only because of the high amount of spice they used in the biryani and the the sweet flavored sauce they used in the veg roll, for some reason the veg roll didn't appeal at all and the biryani despite being tasty was very high on spice.
