The manager was too kind to give me a discount but i still think 12 dirhams for plain rice is way too expensive, (attached a bill for your review).<br/><br/>Other than that, the food is amazingly delicious and very well cooked.<br/><br/>I ordered the chicken szechuan and i highly recommend it if you can handle spicy food.<br/><br/>The place is located inside a mini mall in Green Community, shaded parkings are available outside, the restaurant has a seating area and they are currently offering buffets for lunch.<br/><br/>I will definitely visit again, or order online. Which has become a rarity of late. <br/><br/>I ordered the non-veg combo but the choice of non veg dishes were limited to just one item per each choice of meat. Was slightly skeptical initially after reading some of the reviews here, so went safe and ordered a non-vegetarian combo and drums of heaven.<br/>Their egg noodles were the best I’ve ever had, with absolutely no pungent odor that they are usually accompanied by. Their chicken in garlic sauce was perfectly balanced in my humble opinion, though may seem bland to most people looking for that ‘Indian Chinese’ flavor. <br/>On the other hand, the drums of heaven were over fried and could’ve been better. <br/>Overall; good service, amazing entrees, appetizers could’ve been better. <br/>3.8/5

Very much place inside The Market, DIP. We were the only guest stepped in and it was not at all welcoming which made me ask if they were open or not ! Once we placed order everything seem changed. So I ordered the non-veg combo. Especial mention to Qasim for the quick delivery. However, food is not as I have expected. Perhaps it's an acquired taste, I don't really know. Appetizer was a whole vegetable spring roll cut in half, to make it 2 pieces or perhaps so it could fit the container. Chef's special vegetable is a little bit on the salty side and I'm not really sure what's special about it. The singapore rice noodles was bland. But perhaps it was supposed to taste that way. I should have taken a photo, but I didn't as I was eager to try. I just became sad that I didn't like the food. I ordered again because I wanted to give this restaurant a chance to make up for the delivery fiasco last week. But I guess after this, I might not try this restaurant again. I saw the other rates and they are all 5's. I guess my taste buds are not suited for their cuisine. But I am Asian! Perhaps I'm just picky.

I ordered from Heng Chen at 11:32 AM. They mentioned that their average delivery time is approx 45 minutes. So at 1:20 PM, almost 2 hours after I ordered, I followed up. The person from Heng Chen who answered the call asked me my location. Then he said that it was on the way. The store is around 5 minutes drive away from where I am. At 1:41 PM, I called again to follow up and told me that they would give me a call. At 1:48 PM, they called back and told me that driver told them that my food was delivered already. I told them that I definitely didn't have my order yet. But the person on the other line was adamant that I have it already. I told him that I wouldn't lie for a measly amount of AED 32. By this time, my patience has run thin already. What with the insinuation that I was a liar! And then he told me that it might just be a miscommunication on my part. I mean really. So it was me who didn't understand the situation? I waited for 2 hours before I followed up for my order that was just a soup and I was the one who misunderstood?<br/><br/>So finally, at 2:05 PM, I got my order and the driver was giving me back my payment. I didn't accept it because I understand that this is a business and that they have to make some money. I am normally a kind person but I didn't appreciate the insinuation that I am a liar and that I was the one who cannot understand the situation. I've been patient, at least give me some credit for that.<br/><br/>And also, I ordered large soup. If the pictured is the large soup, how small is the regular?<br/><br/>If I could give their service a negative score, I would. Negative rate for insinuating that I am a liar and unintelligent.

Ordered take away from this branch for our dinner tonight. Chicken Szechuan Fried Rice and Veg Szechuan Noodle. The portion size was surprisingly much better than their other branch. They can even customised their noodle to Szechuan Noodle which was not in the menu. I think they should add this in their menu. Food was ready pretty quick, around 5-7 minutes as they told me upon order. Food taste ok.

Hengchen serves best Chinese delicacies, one of the best place to eat out with family and individual. I had organised a buffet lunch for our staff and everyone (mix of many nationalities) appreciated the taste. Moreover the staff is very kind and customer oriented and offer their best service. I've been for dine in and delivery.... Several times. Dine in service can be good. The last visit we got complementary prawn crackers. But the Nutella milkshake frappe thing was a complete rip off, there was barely 100 ml of liquid in there, and it tasted neither like Nutella nor coffee. there are not a lot of veg options, but the ones they do offer are good, and nice portions. They were very very kind to me in my delivery order and gave plenty of vegetables and called to confirm my preference! Photo is of non veg kids delivery order Buffet is great value, and kids loved it but again, lack of veg options...maybe one dish that's it. Love the black pepper tofu for real though.

It was really great to have chinese restaurant in DIP which I was not expecting considering the silent residential it has. Hengchen was good in the quality of food. Service was average. So its a thursday night & me and my friend decide to order food from Hengchen which is one of the very few chinese restaurants in DIP. The delivery was quick and came within 20mins. We ordered a hot & sour chicken soup and chicken garlic fried rice.<br/>The soup was nothing great nor too bad. However the rice was a terrible idea! It looked or tasted nothing like any chicken garlic fried rice we have had before, instead it was just boiled rice mixed with bland fried chicken pieces & had absolutely no trace of "garlic"<br/>We couldn't help but call up the restaurant again and demanded for our food to be replaced as it was totally unedible & looked equally disgusting. Thankfully they agreed without an argument and within 10mins we got another delivery of chicken fried rice which was satisfactory. The service is very good but unfortunately they need to improve a lot on the food.

Not a frequent visitor to this area but was in the vicinity for a meeting and came across Hengchen, which is a familiar brand of Indian Chinese cuisine for me.<br/><br/>It was a nice and safe option hence tried it out and was satisfied with my choice. Decent food, very well priced and great value for money based on the quantity served.

I ordered the fried rice, chicken noodles, crispy chicken and garlic fish all in regular sizes. Figured this would be enough for 2 people. It turned out that i had enough to pack and have for dinner as well.<br/><br/>The flavors were great and considering the quantity its value for money as well. Will definitely be going back here again for some great Chinese!

Value for money buffets usually mean lots of veggies, pulses, salads and carbs, and very little in the way of meat, chicken and seafood. HengChen seems to be bucking this trend, offering a very decent daily lunch buffet at its Market branch in the Green Community, DIP. Their different-for-every-day-menu included on the day I visited two soups, chicken wontons and veg spring rolls for starters, chicken fried rice, veg chow mein, chicken cashew, beef chili dry, garlic fish, chef’s special vegetables and a partridge in a pear tree – not bad. And contrary to what I expected, the food wasn’t just puff and show, it was actually very good. At Dhs44 inclusive of a soft drink, that’s amazing value. Service has always been a HengChen strong point and it didn’t disappoint in that area. It’s good to see this Indian-Chinese franchise doing so well. <br/><br/>Waste NOT. Want NOT.

Let me start by saying that their delivery service is super quick! I've ordered twice so far and it took them less than half an hour to deliver.<br/><br/>The food tastes good and doesn't feel as greasy as other Chinese cuisine restaurants. I tried the crispy beef and vegetables Manchurian which were both nice.<br/><br/>I'll definitely keep ordering from them!

So it was a little late dinner with kids and the start for the experience was very good, unfortunately not the end. They were rushing to close the place at 10 pm. Seriously?? In Dubai ??<br/>We ordered hot n sour soup, chicken Manchurian sizzler, chicken crispy, beef chilli onion, veg fried rice n veg chowmein. <br/>Soup was very good but the rest was not upto the mark. Lot of sauce when I compare it to better Chinese outlets. <br/>And at the end ordered Tiramisu and chocolate cake, which was okay but over priced. <br/>

I've that the food here a couple of times. Both times with guests. The food did not disappoint. The quantity is also quite good. More than enough to go around the table. <br/>I must mention both times I've been there only for lunch. The servers were good too. <br/>The give the prawn chips starter which is alright. The crispy beef and the noodles were great. The prawn dish we ordered was not bad. Could have been a bit more flavourful.

spotted Hengchen in Green Community DIP ;-)...<br/>a friend and i went for a drive and we both end up get hungry and stopped at Green Community where sure to find something to eat. but surprisingly i found Hengchen there. so we decided to dine in. the lighting inside though is quite deem but we chose to sat and get relaxed there. we ordered for hakka noodle which i really like and also japanese nana wings and vegetable fried rice. we satisfied our hungry tummy after all.

I have never been at the restaurant itself, but i frequently order online. They call you back to reconfirm the order and price, which i find really helpful. Delivery is very quick and the food hot, the drivers are very friendly. I am very sorry they took the tnt prawns/chicken off the menu, as it was one of my favourites. I also usually have difficulties ordering, as there are soooo many yummy things on their menu! I will keep on ordering from here, i tried other chinese restaurants who deliver to dip, but this one is my absolute favourite!

What seemed like a good lunch date turned out to be a waste of time. Well to start with, we were famished and confused on what new place to try & settled on Hengchen which is located right at the end of The Market.<br/><br/>I have been a big fan of the Dynamite Shrimps served at P. F Changs upon which Hengchen's spinoff TNT Chicken is based. Since my wife is allergic to seafood. She can't try the ubêr famous Dynamite Shrimps. So we were more than delighted on seeing TNT Chicken and settled on having lunch here instantly. The inner seating area was dark so decided to sit on the tables outside which seemed like a good idea until there were crying/noisy toddlers right next in a little play area destroying our peace. So not exactly a good location.<br/><br/>Our order was the TNT Chicken. Chicken Crispy and the Chicken Fried Rice spiced up with Schezwan. In spite of bring mostly empty, our orders did take about 20 minutes to arrive which was fine as the prawn crackers and accompanying sauces were really good and helped kill the time. TNT Chicken had no traces of TNT in it. Forget being spicy, it seemed like a half hearted job of a yellow sauce on some big lumps of chicken. Pricing of 39dhs for a starter so small isn't justified too. Disaster. Chicken Crispy was kind of more hard to bite than crisp. Got bored halfway through of eating as it became tiring biting into the hard food. Overall, The sauce was tangy which added to the taste and saved the day. Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice was delicious with a massive portion. So no complaints there. But by the end of the meal our throats started to pain. We suspect the food coloring/flavoring must be the reason.<br/><br/>Final Verdict, seems like a popular place and were expecting alot coz of the reviews but we had a below average experience.<br/><br/>--A drop of ink may make a million think.<br/>@AyaashPaw

Dishes ordered:Vegetable Spring Rolls, Grilled Seafood Platter, Stir Fried Beans , Steak Neua (Dopamine inducer 👌), Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Battered Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream and Thai Mango with sticky rice & coconut milk ( remembering their dessert now made me hungry😁)

Salapao BBQ - siopao tasted good with roasted chicken filling as well as Nam Nuang / lumpia however, serving was not that enough to satisfy empty stomach. Also, it would be better if there would be more veggies / green salad side dish. It was served only with minute quantity of shredded carrots, onions and radish. Restaurant ambiance was excellent with friendly crews. They are offering good discounts.

This place is one of our favourite places to eat. The staff here is always very welcoming. We were waited upon by Jassel this time and she is absolutely awesome. We tried our favourite Cha Nom Yen (Tea) and Gad thai prik (You can ask them to make it bit saucy if you will have it with rice). They have a good app which offers goodies time to time so you can explore it before you go there. It's your one stop for some great thai food. Go check it out.

I visited the restaurant on the 28th of January 2019, at 3:45 pm for a late lunch. And i ordered a dish called "Pad Thai" meal, and it was good until i found hair in the food 😷!! The waitress and the manager were apologetic, and they did not charge me for the dish but they charged me for a bottle of 500 ml of Aquafina water 12 Dh which is ridiculous!!and the manager told me he'll check with the chef where the hair came from and that it will not happen again. That was a disgusting experience!! Never again Little Bangkok 😤
