Precautionary Measures😷 : - Temperature checking ✅ - Sanitizers ✅ - Social distancing ✅ Ambience : - They have both indoor and outdoor seatings, where in indoor has smoking and non-smoking area. - The outdoor seatings are beautifully done with lot of plants around, Winters will be amazing to sit outside and enjoy shisha and food/drinks. - Evenings it's usually crowded, and because of the covid situation you might have to wait for the seating arrangement. Hence better to reserve the place in advance. Shisha : Ratings - 😊😊😊😊/5 - We tried Paan kiwi flavour, it was good. - Being an arabic cafe they still served Paan flavours and also had various varieties on flavours. Food & Drinks : Ratings - 😊😊😊😊/5 - We tried Fajita chicken Sandwich and Grilled Halloumi Salad , they served the sandwich with fries and it was tasty. The salad tasted fresh. - In drinks, we tried Frappuccino and it was amazing. Service : Ratings : 😊😊😊😊/5 Pricing - Reasonable. - There is a minimum spend on the table so do check with the server well in advance.

New to Dubai. This was my first place to visit for shisha as it's near my accommodation. I have been here 10 times in the last 20 days. The service is spot on, the shisha arrives to you in 5 mins, the coal is changed without prompting, I have ordered mint, double apple, paan grape mint, paan kiwi mint and everything is perfect. The hookah lasts longer. There are 2 section a huge indoor searing with televisions to enjoy the sports or a small outdoor section you can choose. You are guided to the table by a hostess and are well taken care of by the staff. Being a regular does make a slight difference, but not so much. They have limited options for veg. Also they have a breakfast combo with shisha which they serve until 12pm.

The sheesha and the person serving it was pleasant. The place has a warm ambience. But the philipino lady who was serving us dint even bother to smile once! So much for being in the service industry. The chicken shawarma sandwich was worth the money and very filling.

This fancy cafe is located in Al Barsha. Contrary to its fashionable name, the cafe is having more of a middle eastern taste and even having a mood of Shisha bar. The space is vast and you can enjoy a cup of coffee facing the busy traffic of Sheikh Zayed with some nice classic car in front of you!

I visited the place many times. A lot of things I like about it . It’s a the only shisha café the smoke doesn’t bother you. The staff are super polite and friendly. Especially the manager he takes care of every person in the café and make you feel at home. The food is really good especially manaesh are so yummy. Also the sweets they have I like them all especially the small dates bites. The prices are so reasonable especially for the Shisha. I really recommend it.

The worst cafe i’ve ever went to! All they need is money & no customer service! Went there to have a Shisha. ordered sweet melon flavor for the first time, right at one puff asked to change and they said it will be 22aed extra charges!! Which we agreed but the taste of Shisha (Blueberry) still ridiculous Also their menu prices are not same as what they charge on the Bill, Make sure you check your bill properly. Staff seems friendly but the managers are rude & surely not gonna recommend anyone !

We are visiting this Cafe since it was one shop only and now with this new management It was the worst experience i ever had in Dubai. i don’t recommend it to any one planing to visit it. The worst experience I have ever had in Dubai! They kicked us out!! In a #Eid night we chose #HashtagCafe to spend our evening and drink something there. We were given the options of #Smoking or “No Smoking”, we chose the 2nd as we were a group of 8 people “Families” with a #child After about an hour and half, a manager called one of us to inform him that the side that were are sitting in is a restaurant and we are not supposed to sit and order drinks only, then he started giving lame excuses for us to “leave the place” in an indirect way!!!! PS: We were the only table sitting in the non smoking area. Here is what he said: 1st excuse he said, you guys did not order any food. (Really!! You want to tell us what to order?! and no one informed us that this is a restaurant, they said its the No Smoking Zone, and this is not the 1st time that we sit there and do not order any food) 2nd excuse, which is totally unprofessional. He said: your bill is only AED72 and you are 8 people. (Woow! We were really shocked how come they say that to customers, it was really embarrassing situation) 3rd thing he said: You can leave the child with someone of you here and sit in the smoking side. (Really! You want to tell us how and where to sit? And we did not want to sit in a smoking area since most of us are non smokers) In a summary: The place is totally unfriendly for families, staff are really impolite and unprofessional. The place is greedy and wont let you enjoy your time unless you will order enough items.

Had heard about this place from a colleague so went to try them out. Ordered the Tabbouleh, Chicken Caesar Salad, Moroccan Tea and Cinnamon Gum Shisha. The shisha and tea were good, the flavor and service was great. The Tabbouleh was quite decent as well. The Chicken Caesar Salad was alright, could be much better. The place has a great ambiance and very polite staff. They also have board games for you to enjoy with your friends. A good shisha hangout in Barsha. Will definitely visit again to try more options on their menu

Follow my food journey on Instagram- @The.Fluffy.Potato Visited hashtag cafe for a quick bite on a weekday night. The restaurant was packed to the seams and all the tables were full in spite of it being a Wednesday night. Got a plate of felafels with chicken shawarma. The felafels were really delicious and the tahina served with it was very nice too. The bread served with the felafels was warm and paired very well with the chilled tahina. The chicken shawarma was pretty good too but the portion felt a tad bit too small for the price. I'll definitely be going back but this time to try out their much raved about shisha. Also, they really need to work on their service. It's way too slow and although most of the servers are very friendly, the snail pace can get on your nerves sometimes. Food- 4/5 Service- 3/5 Ambience- 3.5/5 Value for Money- 4/5

Located in al barsha 1, near to ibis al barsha Easy access and you can park in front on the restaurant or back side. We came for Busienss lunch and shisha. They have a promotion with daily dish and shisha for 77 aed which is very affordable. We ordered Mahashi that come with soup and salad. Food quality is average and the service is on time. The waitress is discipline and have a good knowledge of their menus. The shisha is fine. It is recommended for lunch with their daily shish and dish package.

Overcrowded both times I’ve went to this café, very noisy, slow service, and food doesn’t live up to its price. The ice tea was nice though, and the shisha here is alright. Nothing where you’d have to go out of your way to come here. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place but if you have nowhere else to chill, it’s open late.

I visited this restaurant later in the night around 10:30 pm for dinner. They have two sides to the restaurant. One for smoking and one for non smoking which I appreciate a lot as I dislike smoking. It is nicely interior decorated and well lit place. The food is also good but the prices are on the higher end. I’m giving it a 3 as I didnt feel I got worth my money. The service was also average. They never came back to ask if we want to order more or if the food was good or not.

#place #hashtag #families #arabic An unusual place to try I was ecstatic to see the two separate units which shows the one unit for families and the other one for siesta using Hooka smoking zones. It is something that I have not seen or been to the place that exist. It has been a good opportunity to visit the place. It is situated in front of the main road, Sh.Zayed.Road, in front of Burj Al Arab. The view is breathtaking marvel in architecture and craftsmanship. We ordered usually sharwama for the evening light dinner. It is totally different kind of taste from the places I had, maybe because of the HASTAG CAFÉ, gives the restaurant standard. It is not that bad when compared in comparison of my opinion. It is all I have to say from my side.

Food is OK, decor is fine, the problem is with 2 things: 1- the level of service is too low, i spent half an hour waving for the waiter, i can see that they saw me, yet no one approached me, maybe because the restaurant is too big and the number of waiters is too low, they come without a menu, same thing when i asked for my bill. 2- most of the customers are employees, who either make meetings in the reataurent or just work from there, the music can be quite for few minutes, and loud all the sudden for another few minutes, they don't stick to a mood Simply, its not the place to be during working hours if you want to make business calls, and not a good experience if they don't sort out their service issue.

I ended up here this week with a group of friends but opted to sit on the non-smoking zone which they have opened recently. The other side was busy (but very clean!) and we wanted to have some time to talk and laugh. Though we see a lot of people enjoying sheesha along with games which was great to see. The environment was still really nice and healthy (well as healthy as it can be in smoking zone:D) We ended up ordering Alfredo pasta, sausage pizza, mixed grill, fruit salad and various drinks. Food tasted nice and was good to eat. Pasta took a win from everyone for sure!

So I came here with my friends over the weekend. It was very busy yet service levels were ok. Hashtag Cafe is second home to me and my friends. A perfect hangout place for Sheesha and good time after the work. Thanks to the friendly staff and excellent service this place is always packed. Oh, this cafe is on the right place, close to the Mall of the Emirates and GEMS Wellington School. We’ve tried Shisha, it was okey, latte was also good. Will try food next time. We were looking for a nice shisha place in the area and we bumped into this one in zomato. We only had drinks and shisha; shisha was decent but eventually flavor is lost rather quickly. The music is loud enough, the environment cosy and the seats comfortable. The staff is friendly. Ideal to watch athletic events or play board games. Especially in the summer time when one wants to escape the heat. Definitely coming back.

Hey guys Today I tried Hashtag Cafe Dxb ! They have really nice decoration first of all. Rta parking is available front of the cafe. It’s assumed that when you’re hungry You could eat anything that came your way...i lived in denial all this time. Thank you #hashtag for clearing this HUGE misunderstanding. I walked into the hashtag cafè with a growling tummy after going through their menu (which I wasn’t one bit convinced about) i dared to order the Beef with Mushroom Steak & The Pesto Pasta. My order came with a lag and i was already holding my fork waiting to take my first bite. The UGLY: The food was cold (already). Didn’t taste like anything that i could eat more than 3 bites. The BAD: My decision of coming over to a place that’s a hangout to chill and sip on smoothies over a game of cards for dinner. The GOOD: The hostess (Alma) who came to clean the table and take away my untouched plate was courteous enough to ask me what was wrong with my meal. She offered to get me something else, but you know how is it... When you lose #appetite you can’t eat no more.

Went to this place late 9.30pm for meeting a friend at al barsha. My first impression while passing it to get to service lane was a cosy comfy great food going thing. How ever i just make sure I am just while writing this review not only on good but the experience around it . Accessibility: well if your on sheikh zayed road be aware you need it make sure you take correct exits with service lanes plus inner U turns. Incase u miss out that's additional 10 min detour . Decor: cosy and comfortable Food : I ordered steak , which was over cooked darker in colour as though someone forgot to remove it from the pan and chewy as any steak over cooked can be. Yet I tried to have a bite struggling to cut a piece corner . Note I do not have a proper steak knife! I would give it 2 out of 5 as I still coundnt find much of taste in the meat.. presentation wise all was thrown on the plate with out any setup. Next was chicken fajita: bread was good and the chicken was juicy and well done. 3 out of 5 because it accompanied with fries that were crispy and fresh. Shisha:grape and mint was fine with some starting problems but the person came to change the coal even when I didn't ask for it. He just knew the coal would go down and there he was !!! I must say 4 start to this guy for doing so. I did ask the server to change the steak and the person incharge did meet me to know what had gone wtong. Which I did explain. He was kind enough to change the dish hence I ordered Greek Salad. Greek salad ; crispy ,2 cubs of feta looked too small on a large dowl.of lettuce! The salad had too much Olive oil and again lacked seasoning. .I gave up on this place for food but yes you can have good shisha and sit for hours and chat you friend till late as I did till might night !!

A good place to hang out with friends over drinks & sheesha - for those that smoke. Service is a tad hit & miss though. They do free sheesha for ladies but the dates & times keep on changing off the cuff so it’s a struggle to actually get it. Food wise the order takes absolutely ages. I went for the chicken pasta which was good & I would order again. My friend had their speciality which was just bizarre- not what we were expecting & didn’t taste that great either. Limited paid parking outside the venue.

This place is my new Fav ...located on (the main road) SHK Zayed Road...nxt to Zulakah Hospital...its a bit tough on finding parking sometimes,but definitely not hard to find the place, it has a super, cool, funky, bright sign board... The cafe is cute and funky, with friendly and sweet staff always ready to please...the place is always full but clean and well managed!! The prices at this place is reasonable and its good for a hangout with friends play some games, smoke some shisha and sip on a mocktail or coffee!! Worth a visit if looking for a fun place to chill!!

I loved how this cafe is lit up, inside and out! Ordered grape mint and strawberry sheesha. The beverages we had, did meet expectations but was pricey. The service was quick and efficient.

This is a new and super bright looking cafe on the Sheikh Zayed Road next to Ibis hotel. The signboard is so bright that you wouldn't miss it. What attracted me the most about this cafe is it's very innovative name and the fancy looking breakfast. The biggest and from my perspective the most important downside is that the place allows shisha and gets super crowded and noisy. I missed out on enjoying the meal because of that. Not a bad thing necessarily, it's just my view 😀 Surely a great place to hang out for die hard shisha fans as they serve it all day long. I only wish they start home deliveries soon!

My friend had been here and recommended this place to me, hence I found myself at the Hashtag Cafe with another girlfriend of mine. The place was Choco-blocked of patrons at 7:30 PM the time we went to visit. The pissing off element was that barring the two of us, the clientele consisted solely of men. The drink we ordered was one of their recommended 25 AED juices. It was honestly very ordinary. Definitely not worth the price. The sheesha was priced at AED 40 which is a decent rate. However, the flip side to this was that the sheesha man (the employee dedicated to change the coal) never tended to us even once, which reflected on poor service. The women servers had this milk-maid costume which is rather weird to see in person, but again I guess the men enjoy it? With nothing given to me worth going back to, I do not recommend this place at all. Not to a woman, nope.

Shisha is one of the best in town which lasts longer than others. The staff is professionally trained and most important the place is well ventilated. Prices are very reasonable compared to other cafes. Positive recommendation!

This place should be called #Tragic . We ordered tuna sandwiches with brown bread and asked for them to toast it. They brought us untoasted white bread sandwiches and when we told her we asked for brown bread, she gave us a confused look and went back to the kitchen. The HEAD CHEF came back to our table and told us "We don't have brown bread, Its 3 days old"!!! I told him they should've told us from the beginning. We asked him to take it back and toast it, but he started giving us attitude and took them away. He brought them back SLIGHTLY toasted amd soggy. This place has no structure with its staff amd the tune sandwich taste like cat food. I do not recommend going here for Sahoor.

Stumbled across this place which we found quite a convenient location; however wish we would've stuck with our regular shisha hangout! Firstly we ordered 2 shisha's (one had to be replaced 3 times as it wasn't working), secondly the staff were not very attentive despite the cafe wasn't that busy and lastly within the 1 hour + we sat there - the coal was only changed once from the time we received them! Very disappointed, definitely 1st & last time :(

Awesome shisha, amazing blinds, nice to place to spend some quality time with friends and family, The atmosphere is charming. Warm and welcoming surroundings. The choice of food is nice ,The portions they say are small, but 2 give a varied and very adequate meal, the price was very reasonable. Our favorite Cafe in the area.

We went to this cafe on a weekend around 5pm. Firstly when you come in there is no instructions or information put up anywhere nor does anyone tell you any additional information. After you are seated they bring a bowl of nuts and water bottle which you have never ordered. The servers are pretty nice. But the managers are arrogant nd rude. When we were served the bill they charged us for the bowl of nuts which please note NO ONE will inform that it is charged. When we asked the manager he said it was table charge. And he had zero respect to talk nicely. During this whole argument, they gave us zero personal space during this pandemic. Also he had the audacity to tell us he will charge us 75Aed per person as minimum charge since it's their rule after 8pm (This information is not available anywhere either), when we came at 5pm (Leaving time 8.05pm) To the management, kindly educate the managers and servers to know to inform all the charges you mean to charge the customer

We are occasional visitors to Hashtag and had good experiences till today. The attitude of certain staff managers was extremely disappointing when asked about a particular thing relating to the invoice. They tried to dominate the argument by speaking impolitely and disrespectfully. I hope we have a better experience next time we visit.

One of the worst customer service experience in Dubai especially during the pandemic situation. Witnessed a very rude and arrogant behavior by the manager (Mohamed), he misbehaved with us and even argued in front of his senior manager, while the Sr. Manager was trying to calm the situation. It wasn't a pleasant experience for sure and will think twice before going there myself or recommending it to anyone. *Oh an important alert - they intentionally serve n open the water bottle cap and keep a bowl of nuts without asking you, and then charge you 14 & 15 dhs. Cheap ways of billing customers n earning extra...* Please make sure you know the rules of table charges before you sit down.

Amazing place and have been here regularly. Unfortunately very bad service from floor managers when asked about clarifications in the bill. Any regular customer does not mind paying for charges / etc but if there has been a misunderstanding or a request for clarification, the staff cannot get adamant. This unfortunate incident was one with Mr. Mohammed and his colleague a fellow floor manager. Especially in these times of social distancing you cannot be overly close to a customer even if an argument arises, neither can you touch the customer to explain him about something. I would probably think twice before visiting, if i see these 2 floor managers during my next visit. Good luck team and hope to visit you soon.
