Quite disappointed with the inasal, it was like just chicken barbecue and unfortunately, one of the chicken pieces was undercooked since the meat inside was reddish. I didn’t bother to ask them anymore about it. It would have been better if we just had the actual chicken barbecue. Chicken sisig was okay. Service was so-so.

La Mesa has two options, and two areas of seating. One for their unlimited buffet that includes Filipino street food. And the second which are for their boodle fights.<br/>For the Unli Buffet street food area, everything is good though i stick to the chicken skin & chicken feet options. The best i tasted of the other food options is there Caldereta, if u see it available, i suggest go in & try. The food for the day will be listed in a sign outside. <br/><br/>For the boodle fight, it is good & in very good real portions. Meaning, their good for 4 is really good for 4, etc.<br/>I suggest you give it a go.

One offers a buffet menu with lots of seafood, chicken and beef dishes along with options to stir fry or grill a few items like prawn, squid or chicken pieces.<br/><br/>On the other side, they serve a la carte, which is equally delicious but wait... theres a twist!!! <br/><br/>They serve unlimited seafood as an option as well which is cooked in garlic, cajun or (I forgot... oops)<br/><br/>Also, they serve unlimited ice tea in both the places.<br/><br/>Great ambiance in both the places. Good music and great staff.<br/><br/>I think its my weekly place to go and grab some good and yummy food.<br/>

Specializing on boodle fight combos just like the other restaurants in the area. So the competition is quite stiff. I would say their boodlefight serving is quite generous. Flavors are average. The place is lacking the right atmosphere and vibe. Service is ok. I think they should have new marketing gimmicks to stand out from the rest of the outlets beside it.

Tried their streetfood buffet. Chicken bbq was delish, as well as their isaw. Well, that's it. That's the only thing great there. <br/><br/>Their beef caldereta was though. Felt like I was chewing on a live cow. They should have left it simmer for an additional hour or two. <br/><br/>Their chicken bicol express wasn't spicy at all. Bicol express is suppose to be spicy mind you. <br/><br/>Their fish fingers - there's a difference between crunchy and downright hard to bite! Also, they didn't have any sauce for that. <br/><br/>Not worth my 50aed in my opinion.

Last Sunday, I called the resto to book a birthday dinner celebration for last night at 9pm. <br/>Unfortunately, when me and my friends arrived we don’t have the reserved table to upstairs venue. When i asked the front of house staff about my reserved table, i was told that all tables upstairs are full coz its only for guests who made a booking. We were disappointed but didn’t wanna ruined my friends birthday party.<br/>However, they have a very good service and ambiance. Awesome food! We’ll definitely come back for food but will not book for a table anymore.

The concept and what they offer is good. Boodlefight is a filipino tradition which brings group of people together to have a feast. The food quality was okay, some of the meat werent cooked enough and tastewise is a bit off. However, the staffs were pleasant and lively. I hope they can improve the cooking quality and actually serve the meal with a banana leaf to have the true boodlefight experience.

Serving everything on a neatly covered table. No crockery and cutleries...as the food will be on top of banana leaf and they will provide disposable gloves for you guys to happily dig in. La Mesa has been my favourite spots to binge on seafood at least twice a month. The food is fresh and piping hot when served. I love their Cajun sauce and we order it Everytime. With several similar restaurants in the vicinity La Mesa stands out with it's food value and quantity. I would recommend 79aed unlimited seafood rice and iced tea if you're super hungry and ready to binge.

And most especially the Food was amazing!! From the ihaw ihaw selection to the main courses until the dessert was perfect. Prices are reasonable if you compare to other Filipino restaurant around. I would defenitely go back again to that branch. Kudos to the chef who cooked those food to perfection. My friends, whom I have not met for years, highly recommended that we have lunch at this place. We tried the lunch buffet and it did not disappoint. Lots of food to choose from!!! Add to that are the different hot and cold drinks that’s included in the offer. Each food is prepared well, served hot and portions are perfect for you to enjoy. The dessert section also needs a shoutout for having distinct flavors unlike other buffets that will serve generic-tasting sweets. I will surely return to this place with my family in tow!

I actually should have gave them 5stars on our first day eating on this restaurant because the waiter is good on us because we are the only customer that time the food is ok it is served hot but the Grilled Tilapia is burned that it was so hard to eat it. However on our second time of eating the waiter who serve us is not much friendly with us just because he is talking to other Filipinos around there that he forget my ice scramble order and instead he will gave me with ice cream he gave me the normal one which is so disappointing because we wait for it for an hour that even my husband was so angry. We will not going back anymore because of the service.

The place is quite small but they have some cute and stylish decors to make up for it, they also have a second floor. <br/><br/>Their specialty is mostly seafoods. I love their Pickled eggplant (sort of 😝), which complements their seafood dishes. <br/><br/>We ordered a set meal for 4 persons and it was more than enough. Rice and drinks are unlimited. Though you’ll have to ask the servers for quite a few times to get serve.<br/><br/>I don’t think they serve fresh dishes or newly cooked foods... why? it took them ages before the food was served. we sat there for like almost and hour. there was a group next to us that we have seen them get served and left after finishing and another group came-by.. i mean thats how slow it was. not the greatest food also. was really disappointed. thou we ended up taking the food home because we cannot finish them coz we ordered a boodle fight. if i may suggest have options of sauces not just vinegar and soy sauce. thou the only thing i like they have so many set meals to chose from and the place was not warm, well ventilated inside.

When we came inside the restaurant i feel like im in my home country and for my excitement im looking for the acoustic band that i heard when we enter and to my surprise its only a music from the radio. Too many sets of boodle fight to choose from depends on how many pax you are in a group. So we decided to get set c coz we are only 3 person and add a grilled milkfish with that unlimited rice and ice tea. Service is average maybe because its busy hour, food also takes a little bit delay but when it comes its worth the wait. Reasonable price you can consider in your buget!

The rest of the items were unknown to me🙈 But it all tasted great. Maybe a little too less on the salt for my desi palate. But a nice experience!

Could be better. Decided to go to this restaurant with the family, and tried out their Seafood Boodle. It was rather, okay. However, the food seemed to be smothered in so much oil, that in every bite, the amount of grease one tastes is dissatisfying. The portions, on the other hand, was pretty good for its price.

Conveniently located in Deira, La Mesa is a pleasant outdoor/indoor restaurant with a cosy and welcoming feel to it. We were pleasantly surprised to find the food to be quite delicious and of authentic taste. The staff was friendly and helpful and were quick to point out the best dishes to try. The La Mesa Platter and Chicken BBQ served with sticky rice were quite enjoyable. I couldn't get enough of their lemon iced tea of which they give unlimited refills.

Forgettable. The place looks decent and clean but the food (Seafood boodle) literally and figuratively left a bad taste in my mouth. The squid was not properly cleaned/cooked (I didn't order for sashimi), whilst the anorexic crabs are just for decorations. The chicken tasted ok.

It is a Filipino cuisine but something is missing. My expectation was not overcome. For me the Buttered Shrimp was a bit bland, not enough sweetness, and the Sinigang na Hipon was just ok, not enough sourness.

So disappointed. We ordered 1 boodle set... Raw milk fish, raw chicken, raw tilapia and they forgot to serve the calamari. <br/><br/>Service is 1.0 waiter is so clueless about our order regarding the food included in the set menu we ordered <br/><br/>Definitely will not recommend this restaurant.

The food is tasty and the way is served is unforgetable. I give it a 4/5. There were a lot of flavours the seafood flavour combined with vinegar and sweet soy sauce make a good combination. The only downside is that it may be hard to eat for someone who never tried the Filipino cuisine before.

Quick service. Portions to share.Attentive staff. Reasonable cost and Native ambiance... and yes! Veggie options.<br/><br/>We sat outside and the weather was still friendly, the outlet has a cute space in and out. In spite of numbers of competitors around the area, we find this dine place busy yet quick. We went home with lots of parcel as the servings were more than enough.<br/><br/>La Mesa Restaurant is the place to be when you miss native dishes back home.

Definitely not going back...<br/>Bad experience, ur gonna question, how did they prepare the food... The veg on the food we ordered is not clean and cooked well, and the worst part is, there is "something u never think of to see 🐛" in the food...

It was only 10:30pm and other places had already called out their last orders (on a friday night). Good thing there was La Mesa. We were already famished so a quick scan on the menu we chose the Set D Boodle fight. Its comprised of grilled milkfish, crabs, shrimps, mussles, battered calamari and fish dimsum. There was complete silence for 15min when the orders came lol. The set came with unlimited rice and drinks, free fish crackers (appetizers) and soup. I had no complain but the Boss said she hoped the milkfish was a bit more grilled since there was still a little blood inside. Aside from this we had a nice dinner coupled with great service from friendly staff.

The food is good and very filipino.. its just that they have to revise the recipe for the beef sisig it was really dry neutral taste and not appetizing, I recooked the sisig here in our house add some mayo and plate in a sizzling plate and the taste was great!!

I feel so at home whenever I dine in here. Great Ambience, good service, not so long waiting hours, excellent food! They also have big servings too. A bit above my regular dine in budget but I shouldn't be complaining because the food is real quality!!

We were amazed and satisfied the first time we tried La Mesa. Not only because of the ambiance, but most eapecially the services given to us by the staffs and the food. this criteria made us decide to try it again. <br/><br/>We ordered the boodle fight good for 2-3 person, It's consisting of unlimited rice, bottomless iced tea, crabs, mussels, shrimps, grilled milk fish and siomai. we tried also the chicken sisig. All with a very reasonable prices!<br/><br/>Great Services, highly recommended!

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We ordered 199AED for a boodle fight good for 4-5 person unlimited rice and iced tea(they have also the best iced tea in all Filipinos restaurants around the area) Overall twas worth every penny! We highly recommend it! Would like also to give credits to the waiter who exemplify great customer service named Borj he was really accommodating even though we ask too much requests he manage to smile and have our request granted. Kudos Borj! 👌🏻👍🏻 Keep it up!

This night was a seafood night .. With a platter that suites for 2 person. . food was fantastic ambience its a classic Filipino dine in ..I just don't know why their is a chicken hahahaha .. Anyway please replace it with something .. And the crab was just really small one .. And it's 120 aed .. Find another supplier.. !!!!

I took my Mom and Dad for dinner on a Friday Night and we had a blast! Awesome place to dine in, Food is Awesome! the Iced tea taste so good i must say... it was the best! and staff are friendly. Price is affordable compare to other restaurant around the area. I would definitely recommend it to everyone and i am sure you'll love LaMesa heart heart! keep it up!

The food was fast hot and clean not oily. The iced tea is really cold and full of flavour. Its only 5 dirhams in other places its like 12 and 18!!!!!!!<br/><br/>The only thing that scared me😂 is the portion of the singang (tamarind soup with shrimps) i swear 7 people could eat from that bowl for just 30 dirhams. What a great value for a family.i ended up taking it home.<br/><br/>I would recommend this place to everybody and would defenatly come back again to see the staff smiles.. they just open ur apetite more.

We’re frequenter of its neighboring restaurants and we wanted to try this place for a change. Waiting to be seated took more than 15 minutes. So we choose to be seated outside, almost along the walkway. And another 15 for our order to arrive. (We pitied the family seated next us. We almost finished our meal. When their ordered arrived).<br/><br/> We ordered the boodle fight which is good for 2-3 person. It’s consisting of unlimited plain rice, 2 medium size crabs, Mussels, shrimps, 2 stuffed grilled squid, a piece of chicken and iced tea. The food came around 15 minutes after we placed an ordered. The seafood was admissible. But the rice wasn`t of good quality. The chicken too wasn`t their finest moments either, It was dry and grilled at the same time, so juicy was never an adjective.<br/><br/> The staff was courteous and apologetic so they compensate us with fried fish chips while we are enduring the long wait. Tissue is upon request and so were the ice tea refills <br/><br/>Or maybe it’s just our bad luck. But Sadly, I would not recommend this place.

Wasn't good as I expected 😅<br/>Speaking as of my experience. Costly buffet for a 50dhs. Ate last night with sibs. Tried their kare2, there were no meats. Mostly the foods are just oooily: lumpiang shanghai, calamares. And oh so not nice the sticky rice! Not a seafood eater but sis said theircrabs and shrimps are the best though.
