Saleem’s of Delhi is located in Al Karama and serves Indian, North Indian, Mughlai and Hyderabad. I have mixed feelings about this place. So read on to know more!!. I have visited on a Friday night. As soon as we entered we have realized that they have merged the seating with another restaurant pind da dhabba. Yes, you heard me right. Same place, but two different restaurant names, two different menus, two different bills. Pretty confusing for us and so are the staff over there. Most of the staff are new or don’t know what to answer, whom to answer. In precise, the staff there is not of much help.

It was a friday afternoon we visited this place for having lunch, only a few tables were occupied we got a very good seating... We started our dining with starters murgh zafrani & mutton sheekh kabab - i liked the zaffrani kababs more because it was served with masala onions Then we ordered murgh musallam - it was chicken drumsticks served with thick gravy & minced chicken - because of minced chicken it was bit heavy, it was prepared in awadhi spices so a bit mild spicy it was Then we ordered tawa murgh - it was chicken boneless made with its signature spices it was again a bit thick gravy but it was not that spicy Lastly we ended up with mixture of namkeen & sweet fresh lime soda A soft old bollywood songs were played made our lunch more pleasant... staff were friendly... a second visit awaits

Saleem's from Delhi is a very famous institution. I ordered A Murg musallam, very large in quantity. Taste is quite unique, felt like some dal is also added. I have never taken this legendary dish which I have been hearing from my childhood. Chicken was reasonably good. And I also loved the soft egg on top of that. I specially loved the shami kabab with ulte tawa ke paratha , which comes in the same order. The khamiri roti at 5 dhs was very soft and I loved it. The gazar ki halwa was quite good. With nuts. But something was missing. The shahi tukra was very creamy with lots of nuts. Packaging was excellent. Superb delivery- very fast and without disturbance. The menu in zomato is somewhat costly, but again they give discount.

The place is so soothing and calm that you can sit, eat and relax for hours. The staff is amazing and they help you out a lot with the menu. Dabba gosht and pan kulfi is the highlight. All the non veg dishes have excellent flavor and taste.

The quality and taste of the food for the price paid is very disappointing. Home cooked food tastes better than this. The gravy was just bland and the chicken had no flavour. My first experience at Saleem's of Delhi and definitely the last. Can't pay so much for something so basic.

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and couldn't find any crowd here.. Ambience is wonderful! Servers are attentive enough! Food isn't that great! We ordered biryani which wasn't upto the mark.. The only thing that we enjoyed the most is the sweet lime soda.. we ordered 5 of them 😂 the only satisfactory item from the menu..

We were invited over to try the shahi mughlai food from delhi. Firstly, I must say I was pretty much impressed by the decor and interiors of the restaurant. Everything, from wall murals to wall pictures to the seating arrangement to the music played gave us a delhi feel. Lunch or dinner, you will definitely enjoy having a hearty meal here. We started off with tandoori platter consisting of chicken malai tikka, murg zafrani, fish tikka, and seekh kabab. The kababs and tikkas were juicy and tender and perfectly cooked. The seekh kabab were spicy but to our taste which I liked. For mains we had murgh mussallam and gosht zafrani along with butter roti, garlic naan, and butter naan and sweet lassi and masala chhach. The mutton was delicious, very soft, the meat just fell of the bone without any trouble. The chicken dish was equally good. The rotis were soft and flaky. Lastly we had paan kulfi and shahi tukda for desserts. Awesome! This is the one word to describe my lunch at Saleems of delhi! My overall rating is Food 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Value for money 5/5

Officially the best North India restaurant in Karama on our list. The ambiance, food, vibe, staff, so amazing. What we tried: Tandoori prawns: If you love spiciest food then you gotta try these prawns. Kings prawns coated in their special home made masala and cooked in a tandoor which is served on a sizzler plate. Murg Gulafi kebabs: chicken kebabs with finely diced vegetables. Served on sizzler. Dum murg biryani and Tawa murg with butter garlic naan. In desserts we tried their Rasmalai and kulfis. Oh My God. The best. Literally ordered twice. Overall amazing place with Authentic North Indian food and vibes

Don’t go by the looks from outside, just get in and be mesmerized. This restaurant has beautiful interiors and the food is awesome. The service was quick. About the food: 1️⃣Drinks: We tried their Paan Lassi and Passionfruit Mojito. Both were good. Loved the paan lassi more. 2️⃣Starters: Zafrani Murg and Burra Mutton. Both of them had a really nice smell. Succulent and cooked to perfection. Loved the taste of both. 3️⃣Main Course: We tried Chicken Musallam, Malai Kofta, Mutton Biryani and Magaz. Chicken Musallam had only drumsticks and I loved that part about it. Malai Kofta was perfect. Magaz had a very different taste and I loved it. Biryani was good as well. 4️⃣Desserts: Ras Malai is my favorite Indian Sweet and this was just the way I like it. Overall, loved my experience.

Each and every dish that we ordered from Starters to Main courses reminds us of the best of Delhi culinary delights. Paya Shorba is a rich broth of Lamb Troters. Very delicately made with right blend of spices. Not too heavy on the stomach, it is the right way to start your journey to the by lanes of Delhi. Lasooni Fish Tikka is Garlic marinated Fish cooked in a Clay Pot. Very soft and delicately made with a very tasty marination. Very much enjoyable. Murg Hazari Tikka made from their Secret spices flavoured with Fenugreek and their Signature Bhatti ka Murgh is one of the best Masala Chicken cooked in traditional Bhatti. Both these starters are a must have and a visit to Saleems is not complete without these dishes. In Mains we ordered the Mushroom Hara Pyaz is button Mushroom curry in cream & Chap Masala is Tender Mutton Chops cooked in a rich curry sauce. Both the dishes tasted very heavenly. The chops were so soft and succulent and the gravy was amazing. Chops will never taste the same elsewhere again. Achari Paneer Pulao is pickle flavored Pulao with Paneer. The new dish cannot be found anywhere in Dubai. The best Pulao we ever had. In the end we had their signature Desserts, Kulfi for which they also are famous. We tried their best Peru Kulfi, Malai Kulfi & Kesar Kulfi. The Peru had a nice mirch masala on it and the remaining Kulfis was very Heavenly in taste. Overall we had a good relaxed meal with light old Bollywood songs for company. The service by Budhi Singh was excellent and he took good care of all guests..

This place was on our wishlist since a long time as I have been a fan of Saleem's in Delhi. We ordered the Seekh Kebab which was a recommendation of the staff and we were not disappointed. Amazing flavour and delicate structure. For the main course we ordered the gosht nihari which was not upto the mark like the original dish in Delhi, but the staff was very friendly and they replaced the dish with a Tawa gosht which was good. Service was top notch and very friendly especially lucky. Will definitely visit again

Had biryani from there yesterday. It lacked flavor and the chicken was too rubbery. The chicken also had a raw taste. Not a mughlai biryani at all. The portion size was good but lacked flavor. Had ordered shahi Paneer. The waiter warned it would be sweet, but it was sour. But the dish was manageable and not like the biryani. Not worth the money.

The ambiance of the restaurant is good and the service is also up to the mark. We ordered for Bhatti ka Murgh - taste great The Malai tikka was soft and non spicy - children enjoyed The main course - Murgh Musamlam and Chaap Masala - were both cooked in the same gravy - only the meat was different - the order taker should have suggested another gravy. The Veggie dish as disaster - There was one Vegetarian among us, we ordered for Vegetarian Kheema Gurda - which was too spicy, one morsel and your mouth is on fire - we requested to change and they did but again the dish was spicy - so one of us had to go hungry cause and after dinner again had to stop by for a sandwich.

The atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant was very pleasing giving the old traditional vibe . For all the vegetarians I suggest the Dahi chila which consists of a cream inside with a fried outside as a starter , for our bone less chicken endeavors , the boneless Kadai chicken is finger licking good Although I believe that the service needs to be improved All in all the prices were reasonable in relation to the quantity as well as quality and look forward to come here again to enjoy with family and friends .

It was the first dinner hosted by me at my new place and I wanted it to be a memorable experience. Thanks to blogger #Foodie_bandits who posted some amazing reviews on Instagram about their food which kind of tempted me to order. I am glad that I did that as the food was better than my expectation. Five stars to the Shahjahani chicken masala and veg Biryani, it was lip smacking and super delicious. One of my friend recommended me Saleem's Restaurant, finally we decided to visit this afternoon with my colleagues , we were completely disappointed with their food taste they might be prepared those dishes with their own recipe , at least they would have prepared those dishes with some spices , we ordered for murgh mussalam , tawa gosht , mutton dum biryani along with some bread in side , their mutton dum biryani was like just boiled rice with some turmeric powder & some pieces of boiled mutton pieces on it , tawa gosht was not like what we expected, murgh mussalam was too good . One of the good places to eat Delhi taste food in Dubai.  We love tawa dishes and have tried most of these items from the menu. Magaz, Tikka, Seekh. Seekh kebab is one of the best in the city. Even the butter chicken is very nice and full of flavors. It's place always bustling with crowds. Pricing is decent. I am visiting it again very soon to try the other stuff too.

Well negative review. My first visit to Saleem’s of Delhi turned out to be quite a disaster. Being from Lucknow, mughlai cuisine is my all time favorite. Had great expectations but disappointed. To start with, chapli kebab was too spicy. For main course, I ordered chaap masala. The chaap was like burnt and the masala did not blend with the chaap. The masala was like a separate item and didn’t taste good. Butter chicken was good. For the dessert we ordered shahi Tukda. I can’t believe what was served. I can’t be fooled with that bread topped with rabri as shahi tukda. Sorry.

Out of all Butter chicken taste was good but Mutton chaap masala was a disaster as the chaap was over cooked and masala was not as per mughlai taste , roomali roti was like a normal chapati and Shahi tukda seem to be a normal sliced bread dipped in kheer. It was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

The place has the same management of Pind da dhaba. Unfortunately, this place is not even close to the services, taste provided by Pind da dhaba. The quantity is really very little. The taste was really bad that we had to tell the server to make it better. We took malai kofta and paneer musalam. Malai kofta had never taste sour whereever hundreds of restaurants i have eaten. Service was so slow that the onions and chilli was served to us on our last bite. Onions served were not fresh. We got so kuch frustrated with service that we just stepped to counter and said to give us bill there only as they took 15 minutes for only bill. This happened when the restaurant wasn’t even full. There were hardly 5-6 tables occupied. Will never recommend this place ever to anyone.

I visited this restaurant during the Ramadan for their iftar offers which was priced at 49dhs per person for the unlimited set menu options which included the mixed Fruits, dates and rooh afra for the iftar starter and for the appetizer they had fish Tikka, chicken Tikka and yogurt stuffed bread and for the mains they had the Dal makhani, paneer Tikka masala and chicken masala accompanied with chapatti and naan and they also had veg and non veg biryani and to finish things off they have a every day special dessert and I got the saffron phirni. Overall the food was really tasty and it was definitely worth the cost and I would definitely recommend the set menu over the buffet system in order to save up on food and their a la carte options are also reasonable. Saleem of Delhi is now on my top list ,i am a delhite punjabi and finding the same taste as same as delhi in arab country is something i was not expecting. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and families living in dubai guys do visit this place to have awesome delhi wale taste ka food ,... I had been to this place for Eid along with a friend who happens to be frm North India. And he had heard rave reviews while he stayed there . The ambiance is cool , neat and classy . Simple but elegant and staff attentive . We ordered the Dum chicken Biryani , a paan kulfi and lime soda ...The biryani was excellent . spicy to the right amount , the meat was tender and succulent. After seeing the ratings of this restaurant, We decided to give this restaurant a try, what could be a better dish than the Biryani, the order was send promptly but we were extremely disappointed with the quality and taste, the dum chicken biryani lacked flavour and the veg biryani tasted like some fried rice, even the Biryani rice use was regular rice, not too sure if the restaurant ran out due to the eid orders, but I would not really want go try this place again.

I had been to this restaurant with my family for dinner. Nice cosy ambience. We tried their lasooni fish tikka, mutton burra, tandoori prawns, murgh makhanwala and dum gosht biryani. My favourite was the biryani, nice long rice and the pieces of mutton was juicy. Rest of the dishes was okay.

What I like about this place is sheer usage of Mughal Decoration along with very unique props across the restaurant. Service is good, nothing exceptional. Food is good, it has that taste of India. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, I recommend this. There is ample of car parking just infront of the eatery, so don't leave your car home.

I went to this place for the first time with my family for iftar in Ramadan and I can definitely say this was first and last time. First of all my drink had an ant in it and I had to get that replaced. Secondly the service so damn poor that my parents had to wait for the food several times and they don't bother... I can tell you that I regret going there

Dined here for the second time. Absolutely love the food. The garam garam tandoori rotis are sooo good that we couldn't keep a count and ended up over eating!😍😁 The portions are good and worth the price. Their menu has a good variety of mughlai dishes. Very authentic feel. I love the decor and ambience, the paintings are fab. I think a little more light was needed where we were seated, but it wasn't that much of a problem. My entire family was in awe of the 70s songs being played. We are definitely coming back soon 👍

We went for Iftar but we were late but the staff made an exception to accomodate us. The Iftar menu & rating of individual dishes : Papad Fruits and dates Rose Milk. 2/5 Chicken tikka 2.5/5 Fish tikka 5/5 Dahi pakoda. 3/5 Chicken curry. 2/5 Mutton curry. 2/5 Kadai Paneer 3/5 Chicken Biryani 3/5 Shahi tukda. 4/5 If you are just hungry and want a decent food then this place is an okayish option. If you are looking for a exquisite Iftar avoid going. Actually...Am editing this after 6 hours of dining..The food is still feeling heavy and odd.. wouldn't recommend this place for Iftar.

We went for iftaar set menu and it was awful food experience ever. The starters were super spicy, when u break fast no one can start off with this level spicy food. Then in the main course there were mutton, chicken and paneer gravy, they all seemed like they were made in hurry and tasted like flavor less raw soup. There was no thickness or richness in gravy, i could taste the raw tomatoes and onions in the paneer gravy and mutton and chicken had no flavor. I didn’t know what i was eating. Then comes the murgh dam biryani, the rice was not cooked fully and the biryani tasted like frozen biryani we buy from supermarket. Firni didn’t have much flavor or sweetness. So, this place is bad choice for iftaar items atleast. The owners should look into this matter. Before sending food the chef should taste and do alterations if needed.But I really liked the interior of the restaurant.

The food was really ok. The mutton seekh kabab was salty. The murgh and mutton dum biryani was more like just rice with meat. The Salan which was given along with the biryani was really salty as well. Overall it did not taste like biryani at all. I don’t think I would ever order from here again. There are better places where you can get good Biryani or Kababs.

Saleem's of Delhi has an authentic taste of Mughlai cuisine. Lovely ambience and you get ample of parking near it. You can also enjoy the privileges of Zomato Gold and have a good quality of food at a reasonable price. Even tried their Pan Lassi which was very tasty and filling. Surely gonna visit again.

I am so happy to see that restaurant now put in time and effort to design Iftar that is healthy,delicious and light on pocket. . @saleemsofdelhidubai is one such place. It brings the authentic flavors of old Dilli in their food and ambiance. . I attended a Iftar preview at @saleemsofdelhidubai and absolutely loved it.Dahi k pakore (yougurt filled puffs) definetly made its mark. Fish pakoray were equally good! . Indulge yourself at Saleem’s of Delhi with some Authentic Mughlai cuisine set in the most suitable ‘Purani Dilli’ inspired setting. I loved the ambience of this place with popular Mughal paintings on the walls, comfortable seatings and old Indian music playing. I had a preview of their Iftar set menu which is priced at AED49 and has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The meal includes a drink, a fruit platter with dates, Starters which is mostly grilled chicken, grilled fish and a Vegetarian Dahi ke Sholay which I really enjoyed. It also includes main course where you can opt for a range of curries, tandoori bread as well as a delicious Dum Biriyani. They also have a sweet dessert to end your meal with, we had their Phirni which was made really well. However do note, the dessert served will possibly be different every day. It’s worth trying for Iftar and I hope everyone has a blessed Ramadan.

We planned to try dhaba restaurant but there was queue. So, we went to Saleem of Delhi. Trust me we took the good decision. The food was super tasty. Their tandoori murg was delicious with lot of flavors. The daal was like homemade. The Shahi paneer was superb, it is the second restaurant in Dubai whose Shahi paneer tastes like that we get in Delhi. The falooda kulfi was well decorated and really tasty. The ambience is really nice and there are ample parking. It is a recommended place to go with family and friends.

Another fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy your Zomato gold privilege. They have made good attempt to resemble Delhi. With friendly staff and ample seating, a great place to listen to old hindi songs and enjoy your food. The tikka we ordered was less spicy than I would have preferred. The dal was great was well. I was surprised with the ample parking available in front of the restaurent on Friday evening. This was surprising as I generally avoid Karama restaurants on Friday night due to lack of parking spaces. Will definitely visit again.

I have been going to Saleem’s of Delhi with my family for the last year or so. It’s a nice cozy outlet with decent food that does remind you of Delhi. The highlight of every visit for us, although, has been the ever smiling server, Nagin. His hospitality is commendable. He even remembers what we ate last time and recommends dishes accordingly. 10/10 to Nagin for being such a wonderful host. Seek out a suggestion or two from him on your next visit and you would be happy you did.

Went there for lunch on Thrusday afternoon. Ordered 2 Starters, 2 Curries and 1 Biryani. Out of all this only 1 starter and 1 curry had a bit of flavour rest of it was so bland and flavourless that I could not believe it and even asked the staff if the chef was on a holiday or something. No wonder why the restaurant was absolutely empty. Food didn't even feel fresh and the Biryani was awful. Absolute Disappointment and waste of money.

I have ordered Dum Murg biryani, the taste was not good - bland. It was tasting like plain rice and boiled chicken, no masala was in it. I think we shouldn't consider this restaurant again and suggest my friends and colleagues not to order biryani from this restaurant.

Kebabs are good and mutton nihari is of kinda thin gravy and if you are south indian then it may look very common dish because its almost similar to mutton kurma so i would recommend south indians to try some other main course. Waiting time during the weekend may be more so have some patience to explore the delicacies of delhi.

Amazing food ! Simple and so full of flavour... we had the tandoori fish, juicy chicken thighs, murg massallum, chicken kheema naan, garlic naan and topped it with a murg biryani followed by kulfi falooda and kheer ! It's very rare that every dish is par excellence and this placed delivered. What made it better was the excellent service that the gents delivered...they were so well coordinated and never felt we even had to wait for our food to be served. Thank you for an amazing evening and great job !

I have been placing order from this restaurant more than a year and a half. Starting from AED34 for non veg combo (3 rotis, 60%biryani rice with 2 chicken pieces, chicken curry, rasmalai, 4 pieces chicken starter) and after few days the price was revised to AED36 with a less quantity of biryani rice with only 1 chicken piece and now again the price is revised to AED 39 and the details of the combo are ONLY 2rotis, chicken starter-3piece, 40%biryani rice with only 1 chicken piece and chicken gravy which was too tangy. I felt very bad about the presentation of the food which was delivered today... raita was not added in a separate container it was within food tray and that raita was all over the place( got mixed with biryani, jamun, chicken starter and curry). Last time when I ordered the food I encountered something similar to this and ignored it but this time it was a horrible experience. THE WHOLE POINT HERE IS WHEN YOU GUYS INCREASE THE PRICE DOES IT IMPLY TO DECREASE THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY....ending my weekend with a very bad experience.

Review time: @pinddadhabadxb as the name sounds very interesting, so the thought of food was giving me positive vibes about their food! . . before going to try a new place i usually check reviews on @zomatouae And it has great reviews. Anyways after reaching the place we find out that all the 4 resturants are under one roof! And we can order from any of them. Checked out the menu and ordered from @saleemsofdelhidubai . . . . Food ordered was murgh noorjehani and chicken dum biryani. Which was more than enough for 2 persons And taste of chicken noorjehani was really nice. Perfect blend of spices. But chicken dum biryani was more on average side and served very late. ( but biryani is always love despite of being average) So i enjoyed it as my mid night meal. . . . Ambiance was cosy and services were excellent 👍 Rate: 4/5 . . . . If you are into history and love mughal vibes , it is your place! Do go and try it.

Not exactly the delhi food we were looking for. Biryani was just saffron flavored....lots of it. Sufficient Chunks of meat stuffed in the earthen pot left no space for the rice 😋
