We had the camambert to start. It was delicious! For mains we had the salmon as suggested by the waiter, as well as the lamb chops. The food was divine, the prices reasonable. All in all a pleasant experience if you're looking to grab a bite near the beach. The staff were really friendly and warm as well.

Beautiful restaurant with lovely ambience. We had been here on one of the weekend for lunch<br/><br/>Ordered for few dishes, loved all the dishes, my favourite being the club sandwich. Even tried their Toffee crunch cookies which was the best.

This restaurant used to be one of my family’s favorites, not anymore. We visited today and were surprised by how bad this restaurant became. Our usual meal was always served with salad, this time it was served without salad, and when we asked them, they said they don’t give salad with it anymore. Even the ketchup and mayonnaise used to come in small Heinz containers, now they are served in open small plates and are not tasty. The quality of food is not as good as before; the chicken in the sandwich was so chunky and not cooked properly. <br/><br/>Usually, when we come to JBR for dinner, we account for the free 3 hours parking when we dine at Di Roma. This time they said they don’t validate parking tickets anymore! <br/><br/>Overall, unfortunately, a bad experience.

They gave us complementary sesame buns with olive tapenade.<br/><br/>The sesame buns were pretty good, with the olive tapenade. They seemed to be reheated but I don't think it detracted from the taste of it. The olive tapenade was obviously the star. The bread was just a vehicle for it!<br/><br/>The margherita was buttery/oily. Couldn't really eat much of it due to that, but thankfully I wasn't too hungry at the time, so it was fine.<br/><br/>The non vegetarians at the table preferred the chicken pasta in pink sauce, as compared to the lasagna. The pasta was quite creamy and the table unanimously preferred it, so I guess you could try it if you like.<br/><br/>They also provided a chilli olive oil to drizzle on top, which was great.<br/><br/>Overall I don't think it was great VFM, because nobody was too happy with the quality.<br/><br/>Ambience was alright, nothing great. My only bonus point is that they had Tom and Jerry on the TV there, so that was fun.<br/><br/>Service was definitely good and attentive.

A cool Italian and breakfast cafe at the heart of JBR. Seating both inside and outside. They have coffee, juices and other beverages from Lavaza. Their food menu is limited but covers almost everything. Simple n straight. <br/><br/>I tried the following - <br/>✅ Al pollo pizza with chicken, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. Lil bland for some but add chilli olive oil and it’s 👌🏻<br/><br/>✅ Ravioli pasta was richly creamy and yummy. A good morning breakfast makes the whole day amazing with that thought I went for breakfast. The selection looked amazing. I ordered Power breakfast as it has all the menu items anyone would love to eat. I was greeted warmly by a tall lady seems like kind of manager to me. The coffee and orange juice came quickly. While I was enjoying the hot sip of my black coffee, breakfast was served. I was happy that service was quick. Food looked amazing and tasted delicious until I noticed that croissant was not served. And no body bother to inform me anything until I had to ask for it. The server was so casual with no apology just went to counter and was talking to some delivery guy. I believe, he thought that was most important for him other that taking care of the customer. He returned back with a plate of half croissant. I was really embarrassed with that gesture. Upon asking he casually replied that they ran out of mini croissant and they will serve HALF croissant. I felt insulted and embarrassed as spending AED 50 for breakfast and I was served merely HALF croissant. The server confidently replied "when we don't have mini croissant we serve half croissant" Really guys are you serious about it. With that kind of insult and embarrassment I will never again step into that restaurant. The staff who don't know what hospitality is all about shouldn't be handling customers. No doubt the restaurant doesn't have much footfall. I got up paid the bill and left. <br/><br/>Pathetic service spoiled the good food.

The Good Part: Food was good and the sandwiches were delicious. Coffee was also great. They have good portion meals with nice presentation.<br/><br/>The Bad Part: They do not stamp the parking ticket. The lady who served us was not at all friendly and in fact misguided us on the menu. They refused to accept beam payment method which is not right. Overall not happy with the way these people greet and serve you.<br/><br/>You can go there for good food but be prepared that you will not be served well by the staff as they are rude and not welcoming !

Excellent customer service! Absolutely delicious Caesar salad and definitely one of my favorite dishes here! It is a bit fancy so the prices are expensive here. The salad was for Dhs 47. We sat outside, facing the jumeirah beach as we dug our forks into the salad! The food presentation was excellent too! We loved and enjoyed the whole experience and would love to come again! 😍

Had a long walk in JBR and decided to stay, relax and eat for dinner. The shop caught our interest because of the staff greeting in front. So we come in. Food was okay! but the coffee and drinks i highly recommend. When you want a perfect cup of itallian style coffee. You can visit caffe di Roma. Juices are freshy made too..

They have one of the best breakfast deals in Dubai. Delicious, fresh and generous helpings. I would rate our food 5/5. All breakfast comes with a coffee and big glass of fresh juice. They are on the entertainer aswell, so our entire bill was only 49aed for 2 people! <br/><br/>The staff were very helpful and friendly. <br/>The ambience and decor outside is very nice. We prefer to sit outside, as the inside is a bit dull. They have an AC outside so it is possible in summer.<br/><br/>I definitely recommend Ill Caffe Di Roma!<br/><br/><br/>

I have been there with my friend for a breakfast, and it was a horrible experience, once we enter we just sat and waited for ANYONE to come and serve us!! After 15 minutes the waitre showed up, Actually we choose to wait because we were hungry and it was 11am already, we ordered Cafe di Roma breakfast, but he told us that there is no more mini croissant and he can offer a slice bread instead, after 15 minutes he just came with the cold slice toasts!! I asked him twice to toasted them but they stil cold and white! When the breakfast served I discovered that they put feta cheese instead of bri cheese!! Then he told us there is no more brivcheese!! All in all, I don't recommend this cafe at all

Hungry again... walked down The Walk to find a restaurant, which I haven't been to yet.<br/>Il Caffe di Roma sounded good - Italian can be never wrong - can it?<br/>Off course sat inside. Unfortunately their a/c is quite the worst I ever encountered. Even a big evaporating fan (inside!) could not make it enjoyable cool.<br/><br/>Ordered an espresso, than ordered later for a quinoa salad and a Pizza with beef pepperoni.<br/>The salad was alright - the grilled peaches in it were quite mealy, but the quinoa was well cooked and overall flavors and textures were ok. Maybe I just like quinoa for the moment very much (I think even McDonalds quinoa salad is respectable).<br/><br/>The pizza took quite a long time. When it came, it looked quite good (except maybe the "rubber loops olives". However it was pretty much the worst pizza I have had probably for a couple of years. The cheese tasted pretty rancid... and the pepperoni (or salami however you call it) also didn't tasted great at all.<br/>2 pieces and I was done... <br/>The waiter asked me, if there is something wrong - and I told him, that I not particularly liked it... he offered me another dish (and the option "to go"). I asked him, that I probably would go for the mini burgers - with beef.<br/>After some time, he brought me mini chicken burgers. The patty seemed to be force separated meat (probably deep frozen convenience food). It tasted acceptable - but definitely not even as good as a McChicken. The cheese was really rather like rubber and clinged to the breading. The bread was soft, store bought and mediocre. And no pickles were helping there... oh - there was a salad garnish on the side, however the waiter forgot to give me some cutlery.<br/><br/>There is not much to add to this. Would I go back to Il Caffe di Roma? Probably yes - on an Espresso, which was really nice!<br/>But I would not look for any wonders out of the kitchen.

I got an ice cappuccino. My only issue was that they added a bunch of powdered coffee on top. The actual coffee however was not bad. They use lavazza coffee which is one of the best.

A coffee powered by Lavazza is my idea of an enjoyable time! Having had the pleasure to try most of ICDR's branches in Madrid, Barcelona, Seveille, Marbella, Lisboa, Rome and Paris, I can easily recommend this branch in Dubai with a setting that would definitely take you back to Europe! I'm a regular here no matter other coffeeshops I hit, I keep coming back to ICDR for the full flavour and authenticity of their coffee whether it's day, night or even very late night (thankfully they are open till after midnight, for people who crave coffee in strange times like myself)<br/>My favourites here are the classic espressos both macchiato & ICDR, triestino(not the double) and Mazroei from their UAE specials. I even go for their ginger shots to treat my flu, surprisingly works like magic!<br/>Overall, an uncomparable experience for third wave coffee enthusiasts, I repeat anytime of the day/night!<br/>

Oh the poor poor service.... We went on a lazy weekday early evening (5ish) and besides one occupied table, there were no other guests in the cafe. Even then the servers could not come to us to take the order, or serve the drinks on time. Even to get the wi-fi password, it took the staff member at least 8-9 minutes. We ended up just having a mixed berry shake (which was good though) and leaving as we didn't want to disturb the parallel world the staff was living in...

Hello,I was to the beach in JBR and I stopped in Cafe Di Roma before going home. The weather is getting better and I decided to stay outside. The staff was friendly and I didn t wait long time to order and receive my food.When I ve been inside I discovered the AC was working again because for long time was broken with this hot weather!!I like the taste of their coffee, strong enough for me. :)

Was disappointed the grilled chicken salad was flavorless and hoped that the Caesar dressing would improve it but it didn't. The margarita pizza was better as it was warm and the crust was done well. Would have wished for more basil so the pizza would be more flavorful but decent nonetheless

Pizza is ok, nothing special though. Coffee can be good or average, I really liked double espresso with cream, but everything is it's bit overpriced. Why? Chairs are uncomfortable, tables are not apart enough, atmosphere is not exactly relaxed, which means you will have a fast drink and move on.

It used to be one of the favorite place to drink a coffee. A while ago I have got a chance to dine there. The Risotto with Seafood was quiet nice! A big portion, which is enough for 2 persons) along with plenty of Seafood in your plate. So this time I have tried a berry cocktail, which were so good as well. Staff is fine at some point.

One of the nicest and most economical places for a hefty breakfast on JBR - The Walk. Very good, efficient and friendly service. Relatively nice decor (indoors) and equally great a place to dine at while seated outdoors, provided the weather is pleasent or if it is early in the morning during the summers. Their breakfast platters and their breakfast buffet are really enticing. The omelette preparations are perfect and the choice of cheeses are lovely. I'd rather they serve Freshly squeezed orange juice EVERYTIME instead of switching between the former and out of a juice bottle/carton.

This is my favourite place to visit and unwind, fresh air, beautiful mellow tunes, friendly faces and most of all good drinks and food. Usually my friends and i would meet up for breakfast here but last night was the first time we visited after 10pm and i could not believe how busy and crowded the place was. They were running a waiting list but we only waited round about 5 min to be seated. the staff is always so friendly and always smiling, when ever we visit we always get treated like vips ( im sure that is the reason why we always see the same guest when we visit the restaurant). As for the service i must say the staff always seem to go that extra mile for there guest, even thou there are delays at times when the store is busy, there would always be someone who would come and inform us.. My favourite meal at this store is the chicken and mushroom pasta and my favourite drink is the creamy ice coffee..<br/>keep up the good job guys, you rock!!!!!!!

I visited Caffe Di Roma last night for some casual coffee and post dinner binge. The summer has kicked in and with temperatures increasing, we chose to sit inside the cafe as opposed to their al fresco seating.<br/><br/>We waited almost for 15 minutes before someone came and attended us, the place was vacant inside and only one other table was occupied. I had to walk up to the counter and ask for the menu, this is the scenario when there are 4 waiters standing in a group and watching the big screen television. <br/><br/>I said never mind, must be a tough day for them. The order eventually was placed and then came the pizza we ordered and the coffees. We were 3 of us, the attendant just came and dumped the pizza plate without bothering to give us cutlery and service plates. <br/><br/>Again since there was no one interested in coming to our table, I walked up to the counter and got the plates *Sigh*<br/><br/>Now comes the bill after 15 gruesome minutes of waiting after we first asked for it. No one comes to take that as well, I walk up to the counter where there is group of waiters again chit chatting amongst themselves. I say this is the cheque, one waiter signals me to another counter saying "There, you need to pay"<br/><br/>By this time, I was so irritated and appalled by the way a popular cafe treats it's customers. I walked again with the cheque in my hand to the counter I was directed. I voiced out my opinion to 3 waiters waiting there and said they should have a "Self Service" board put up. The feedback fell on deaf ears, I filled out the feedback form, which I do not think is going to evoke response.<br/><br/>I have been to Caffe Di Roma's Dwntown Dubai branch many times and they fair way better than their colleagues at JBR. This cafe goes in my list to "never-visit-again".<br/><br/>Customer service is crucial and makes or breaks the entire experience. This is such a shame that their service takes away from their really good menu offering!
