New manager was extremely rude, i did an order of sushi with over 80 pieces, he came saying he wants to charge me for the sauce, how unethical is this! I wanted to cancel all the order and he did not mind, staff were amazing and polite this is why i did not cancel the order, the manager was extremely rude! I threw up before having the food for such a behavior. No wonder why this place went backwards, manager does not know how to maintain loyal customers. How funny is it to charge me on a sauce after having a big order!

Let’s first explain the service quality, the waitress had no idea what juices they have, which turned out they serve orange juice only; they didn’t have cold water, cold juice, or even cold soft drinks. The waitress was not able to identify the difference between smoked salmon and fresh salmon (she doesn’t know what is used in the rolls). I doubt she even understands English, because every time we ask her for something, she does something else. Their hygiene standards are subpar. Overall service review is that their staff lacks training and professionalism.<br/>Moving on to the food, The Halloween roll was part raw part cooked, which was very questionable in terms of food safety. The rest of the items were good.

Didn't visit the place with the current situation.<br/>But ordered delivery and upon my experience it was excellent.<br/>The philipina lady on the phone was extremely helpful n better she knew her offers and menu very well and was extremely helpful helped us with z order and we enjoyed our food to z max.<br/>We had salads and the 40 piece Maki plateau<br/>The size of the Maki is enjoyable and fulfilling not too small not to big just the right one.<br/>Ginger Wasabi and soya comes in a clear proper box very nice idea.<br/>Ingredients very fresh<br/>And presentation very appealing.<br/>Tx u<br/>Well done

I loved it! Mori Sushi is my favorite back from Egypt & still is my favorite here as well. Went on a Tuesday night, got mix of rolls for 2. Loved itttt! Loved the fried ones, loved the option of having different rolls & at the same time worth every penny! I know almost all the rolls! And love them. I recommend the new roll the Halloween roll, New hot roll is my favouriteeee, spicy lemon roll, Philadelphia roll, i can go on & on. Highly recommended

I am a fan of mori. Sushi originally from Egypt .. i had my first sushi experience with them , they never failed to satisfy my sushi cravings .. best dynamite shrimp rolls ever .. Philadelphia rolls amazing .. everything is just perfect .. their mojitos strawberry or lemon mint and even their peach ice tea great combo after the sushi , and their offers really reasonable and fair .. just can’t wait to go back again

Went with a group of friends to the all you can eat seating on a Tuesday night. Everything about this place was exceptional. It has an extensive menu, a majority of which is included in the all you can eat price. The decor and furnishings are very modern and appealing also. Most importantly the food is fresh, delicious and hand made to a very high standard of presentation. Be prepared to wait if you order large amounts of food like we did, but it's totally worth it. Highly recommended.

To be frank u do not like sushi so I cannot comment on the sushi quality and taste. What I can comment on sushi is that it was not very expensive and it was looking good as well. I although ordered golden fried shrimps in chilli mayo sauce and meso soup. The soup I was tasting for the first time. I didn't like the weed leaves taste but overall the taste was good. The shrimps were awesome. Very tasty and juicy and right chilli taste. The place is a bit expensive but it's ok for the experience.

I really a big fan of japanese food. But this is the first time that i feel so disappointed starting from the service. not even trying to suggest and serving all the dishes at the same time. Miso soup is a bit salty. i did not even enjoy it nor even trying to finish it. togarashi sushi salmon on top of it freshness is very questionable it's chewy it should be soft. Drinks and edamame i really enjoy it. dessert specially banana croquet crispness was there. but it supposed to be warm so it will be balance the combination of ice cream and croquet i did not even try to finish it even the garnish looks like a dry mint leaf... Definitely not even coming back....

Interesting variety of sushi. Very flavorful. Though there are some that are extremely cheesy, like the avocado cheese roll. I would have preferred if they had gone a little easy on the cream cheese. Slightly on the higher side in terms of price but definitely worth a visit. Personally I really liked their lychee mojito.

I’ve always loved mori sushi since they opened back home in Egypt. Their sushi is fresh and very creative. I had the craving last night so we decided to go there after work. To our surprise it was sushi night !! for 180 dhs u can choose all the sushi u want from the menu!! Yum and yum - I had the chance to try out all the crazy mixes- not all were to my taste but it was a great experience- will def be back and mark ur calendars people sushi night is Tuesday from 5 to 11 pm and Fridays from 12-5pm, go try it out!

This was my first time here. The reason I give Mori a 5 star experience was because the manager allowed me to alter the Sashimi plate to be exactly the type<br/>of sushi I was craving. He could<br/>have easily said no. The waiter went out of his way to accommodate this and the Sushi was very fresh at very reasonable prices. Due<br/>to this experience I will<br/>def return!

I had never heard of this place until my friends planned lunch. Since this was my first time at Mori, my friend went ahead and ordered ten different types of maki rolls. Literally almost everything on their menu in their maki section :)<br/><br/>I had never eaten so much sushi at one time before but now I know I can!!<br/>For drinks we ordered the Mori lemon which was good enough for four people.<br/><br/>I'm definitely going back as the food was great along with the ambience!<br/>

Presentation of the food was very nice and instagram ready. <br/><br/>We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was pretty slow.<br/><br/>-Miso soup tasted so good and gentle to the palate.<br/>- The bonbon parcels were a nice surprise.<br/>- The crispy salmon were ok, but I’d prefer sashimi.<br/>- the pan fried chicken gyoza were tasteless.<br/>- The crab salad was more of carrot salad and the mayo flavour were too strong. Another let down. <br/>- The sushi were well presented, but the flavors of cheese and mayo were so strong they over powered the actual flavours of the sushi, every piece I eat it felt like I am eating rice and cheese, more cream cheese then anything. And also disappointed that majority of the menu were maki rolls with cheese in them. <br/><br/>Service was ok but slow.

Japanese food in Downtown is surprisingly competitive. In the last 2-3 years, there are at least half a dozen restaurants serving some snapshot in the spectrum of Japanese cuisine including the traditional to the modern and, arguably, just pan-Asian.<br/><br/>Step forward Mori Sushi. It proclaims to have Brazilian origin and Japanese heritage. To be honest, the Brazilian origin is very discreet and, by that, I mean very hard to discern. <br/><br/>The menu is vast but, simply put, it's a sushi menu with a broad and deep selection of sushi options. Very popular during lunch with countless offices throughout Downtown, it has both a patio area outside that is often busy during the winter months and an inside area where you can take refuge during the summer months.<br/><br/>The DYNAMITE ROLL, CHIRASHI SUSHI BOWL, CRAB MEAT ROLL, PICASSO ROLL and AVOCADO CATERPILLAR ROLL are examples of some of the less classical features on the menu which stand out above your typical nigiri (white rice with some form of fish/seafood on top). The miso soup is also clean, simple and delicious.<br/><br/>Mori is not the fanciest Japanese restaurant in Downtown but it is one of the better ones. The menu could benefit from cutting in places as it is very broad. This is more of a lunch place than dinner but I say that because they do not have an alcohol license.

One of the most under rated Sushi places in Dubai. This place is a fusion sushi joint with emphasis on rich creamy flavors. Ingredients are always very fresh, with a wide selection of rolls serving all tastes. I recommend the crispy salmon salad and the hanami roll (for cream cheese lovers). 4.5 is simply for the single outlet location on the Boulevard. They actually deserve a 5 for food quality, service!

As you go by Downtown, you can see the signage of Mori Sushi. Slightly confusing to get to, it has a nice quiet vibe despite being on the main road with some great views<br/>The menu is very extensive for the sushi. We decided to use the Entertainer which makes it really worth it. However what would improve the sushi would be a little less usage of cream cheese, as at times it feels thats all there is.<br/>Their drinks are AMAZING, especially the Strawberry mojito. The service is courteous and quick and they are very accommodating of young children

Mori Sushi came highly recommended by a friend, so having Entertainer vouchers for this place in 2017, I had to come back again—this time with another friend who's visiting for the first time!<br/><br/>It has been at least 2 weeks between the last time I was there and of writing, so it will not be as detailed.<br/><br/>1. FOOD: 5/5<br/>Mori's menu has a wide variety of options it's almost overwhelming, just as it should be for a proper sushi restaurant. What I liked is the abundance of rolls with cheese—almost every section has at least one or two rolls that will have cheese in it! The most intriguing for me was the hot roll tempura section from which I ordered the hot ura salmon. They also have a dynamite roll section, which I'm assuming is all spicy sushi options and we got the dynamite whole shrimp. As per usual, we also got the tekka maki and Philadelphia roll.<br/><br/>It was my friend's first time at this place, so I guess it is also worth noting his reaction. First off, he was surprised by the ratio of tuna to rice in his tekka maki and you can see by the photo how it was definitely packed with more meat than rice. He has also never tried the deep fried roll, so that was a nice surprise as well.<br/><br/>2. SERVICE: 5/5<br/>If I remember correctly, we had gone there about 30 minutes prior to the restaurant closing. My friend and I were initially reluctant to dine so as not to be inconsiderate of the staff's time. However, when we got there, we were warmly received by the team who urged us it was definitely okay regardless of the time.<br/><br/>I do not remember how to spell his name but, Rouwie, our wait staff was very friendly and helpful to our concerns regarding the food. Not to mention he was all smiles!<br/><br/>3. CLEANLINESS: 5/5<br/>No complaints in this department.<br/><br/>4. AMBIENCE: 4/5<br/>The overall ambience is really nice with fancy decors, high ceiling and bright lights. My only complain would be the music which was quite loud the three times I was there. The playlist consists of mainstream, poppy music which doesn't really fit the ambience of the place. Just a very minor issue that shouldn't cause great concern, but I would suggest a more mellow playlist if you want to create an all-around great experience.<br/><br/>5. PRICE: 4/5<br/>It is quite pricey, but for a sushi restaurant that leans a little bit more on the fancy side, it is not entirely unreasonable.<br/><br/>TOTAL = 4.6<br/><br/>Would I come back?<br/>I definitely did! I have been back three times already. It's too bad that Mori Sushi is no longer a participant in the Entertainer 2018, so I can no longer go as often as I would like!<br/><br/>Would I recommend it to a friend?<br/>Yes! Mori Sushi is one of the best sushi I have tried locally. My husband is familiar with it in Brazil and he has been raving about it. We tried soup (Miso and Chicken Noodle), which was nice but not extraordinary. However, the experience quickly changed as soon as our platter arrived. Their rolls are incredible, offer brilliant fusion. Must haves are: Hot Panko Roll, New style Philadelphia, Squid Nut roll, Special Ura Squid, Tograshi, dragon roll, crispy Shrimp Avo roll - in that order. <br/>Service was fine but especially attentive to details like bringing child friendly chopsticks, treating us with desert, compliments of manager. My child accidentally left a Lego figure in the menu booklet, which was duly brought to him before he noticed it went missing. This is now my go to place for sushi. Apologies for not taking any good pics. Presentation was good.

I am a sushi lover and was quite impressed and excited to see their menu when i first ate at this restaurant. Large variety of sushi, makis, nigiris and many more creations that were new to me. A wide selection of asian dishes which made me want to try and order everything. Cant wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu. The staff were friendly and the decor was quite attractive. The prices were also very reasonable and the food quantity was great. Fantastic experience overall.

If there was a less rating I would have given this place a 0. We ordered a crab salad and a salmon salad for pick, the bag looked as if there was a feast inside!! We opened it to get surprised with two almost empty plastic boxes which we thought were the toppings! I’m honestly very pissed off! Craving for sushi salad, I made an order for two salads: crispy salmon and crab salad. I picked them up myself and paid 79 aed. The salmon salad is a below average portion but the crab salad is a sample portion!! The portion is supposedly enough for 1 person, but in this case it is barely enough for a baby. Please check for yourselves. To top it off, the taste is way way below average. Never again.

Really nice spot for some good quality sushi. It's very fresh and tasty...a bit expensive but I guess it's the location. They are on entertainer which is a great added bonus! Try the BON BON as a starter and definitely have the Chirashi Bowl because it's a great deal.

The food from Mori is simply marvelous, all fresh and carefully prepared. Their fusion sushi options were definitely a standout. It's best to visit Mori during their Endless Sushi offer where you can try almost everything from their menu. It's a great value for your money considering they're located in front of the Burj Khalifa, with views like that this should be on top of your must try Japanese restaurants in Dubai. The only thing that made me give it a 4 instead of a perfect 5 is the food service, I've tried Endless Sushi four times now and every time I visit, their food service is quite slow. Platters tends to arrive to your table 20-30 Minutes after you order. Which I hope the management would address. <br/><br/>Staff are friendly, the modern-chic look of the interiors feels fresh, a perfect after office hangout with colleagues.

Restaurant is vibrant with creative paper mats. Drinks are good and cheap with a peach mint mojito being a glass and a half for 14 dhs. Sushi is cheap but in this case, you're getting what you paid for with filling falling out of the rolls and bland flavors, despite the descriptions. Waitstaff is distant; it took a while for the waiter to arrive at our table to bring the check when we were the only ones in the restaurant. <br/>Good for a quick bite, but quality will be sacrificed.

My favorite sushi place in dubai. I have always heard about it from my friends in egypt but never got the chance to try it in egypt and here you go it opens in dubai. Loved all the varieties. The size of the sushi is good and the fusion of the sushi flavors. Also u have to try mori cocktail. Try all u can eat on friday and Tuesday

The "sushi with fusion" should have been enough to stay away from this joint but it was too late. Tried this last night. I am a sushi fan. Though I have tried a sushi-fusion experience elsewhere in dubai but that was a distinctly western. This however was eastern or more particularly middle eastern as the restaurant has a branch in Egypt. The menu included a lot of cheese based sushi. <br/><br/>The salmon tartare is generally a safe bet but was obnoxious with Dill-yogurt dressing. The tartare had a layer of chopped tomatoes. Really? <br/>The other starter of fried shrimps was tasteless. <br/>The sushi was unremarkable too. <br/>The place itself is nice enough with attentive, smiling and helpful staff.

Went for dinner group of 3 ,the manager couldn't help us saying there are cameras in the restaurant and we can not use 2 entertainers .We told him what's this policy he said he can't help us .We told him its gona be bad review he said this is the policy ...well we are not dinning again in the restaurant ,the food was good but not good enough ,small small portions but anyways thanks for the service ..not recommended

This is the best sushi place ever. The staff literally are the best staff I ever met anywhere. They made us feel welcomed and i asked them to make a cake for my friends birthday and they just nailed it. I honestly never imagine it would turn out to be this awesome. Everything was perfect and they sang happybirthday for her and it was the best experience ever. I would repeat it everyday. I recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi.

A swanky sushi place with lovely options...<br/>We tried and highly recommend the hot rolls with salmon in crispy tempura.. of course if you're not a huge fan of fish, the crispy tempura or BonBon (shrimps with cheddar and mozzarella cheese parcels) are good!

This was my second time visiting this place and as usual, I am in awe for it. I ordered an assortment of different sushis and salmon sashimi and I was left quite satisfied with both the meal and the service. The server presented me with an iftar menu that was quite reasonable priced but I was only craving for some sushi and sashimi and decided to dig in to the other normal menu. The menu is quite huge and you have got a lot to choose from so depending on your taste buds, you can order an array of special sushis and sashimis. I think that the portion served is also quite good and menu is quire reasonable. Finding this place always gives me nightmares because its tucked a little ahead of Dubai mall but once found, I dont feel like eating sushi anywhere else. Even if it takes a little extra effort to find it, I dont mind till the time I get to eat the delicious sushi.

Well it has a nice look and great service from the staff but I have to say anywhere you find bones in your sushi is usually using low grade fish and not high grade, as well as the sushi chef not being of a adequate skill level. Had the office girls lunch here during their launch and it's quite interesting when we have a free taste with a couple of their sushis. I can give a thumbs up for doing such a great customer service.<br/><br/>Location: Easy to find and with ample parking available and of course, it is from the same building as our office: 4.0/5.0<br/><br/>Pricing: Reasonable for the food and the quality<br/><br/>Service: We are quite disappointed with our recent visit, they have too many restrictions with the Entertainer Vouchers which is quite sad - 1. Customer Service 2. We are from the same building ads theirs. <br/><br/>Food: Pretty much it tastes so good. Note: *One reason that I won't come back here is that they are inconsiderate in using vouchers - I think in this part of the world, we all know how we love Entertainer Vouchers and it benefits a lot - it affects their customer service rating.*

Had the family go in for dinner; with my aunt and cousin visiting, we always look out a new and delicious sushi joint to dine in at. <br/>We ordered a whole lot of 6x miso soups, 2x chicken noodle soups, 2x salted and spiced edemame, 2x meaty money bags, some salmon ceviche, corn tempura, shrimp tempura with jalapeño sauce and scallop foie gras for appetizers. <br/>We ordered 2x tuna sashimi, 8 assorted rolls with 8 pieces each divided in 2 platters to be shared and placed on the table for the 8 of us. <br/>Location: Easy to find and with ample parking available: 4.0/5.0<br/>Pricing: Reasonable and true to any other family friendly sushi joint, our bill was AED 640 after redeeming 4 Entertainer vouchers on 4 rolls, saving approx AED 200 in total: 3.5/5.0<br/>Service: A bit slow but other than that pretty good, friendly and helpful staff, patient too but yeah for the fact that there was only one other occupied table, the service should have been a bit faster. We had to cancel our octopus salad because it never came out even after we were all done devouring our appetizers: 3.5/5.0<br/>Food: Pretty much all of it tasted just as good as we expected if not better, some of these rolls were quite delicious and I'd probably go back to try a couple more rolls. Though I do wish their menu also had some hot plate items, such as teriyaki, katsu curry or even some ramen bowls!

Rich in flavor and the best part it had a lot of crab and prawn! So far , the sushi place with the most sushi variety. <br/>Im a big sushi fan and i never had such sushi piece , very new combinations and flavours. <br/>The pieces are big , however the rice to fish ratio isn't quite right , as there is too much rice in the piece. <br/>Also many sauces to choose from.<br/>The prices are fair , especially their open sushi formula! <br/><br/>Recommended!

Tried mori once and decided to give it another chance, to be honest the taste isnt that great theres just sth that's off about it (esp with all the cream cheese involved) however staff are wonderful!! The ambience is great and the food is ready in no time! Also their strawberry mojito is a must try! And reasonable prices esp that you can order 4 pieces of the sushi to taste, ordered plain noodles and felt it came out of an indomie packet though 😩

You will need some time to decide what to order because so many kinds of Sushis are on the menu! Some of them have unique names like "Piccaso Roll" or "Dragon Roll". All Sushis I ordered looked beautiful (like art) and tasted wonderful. I like these modern style Sushis and will come back soon!

We had a lunch at Mori sushi and I must say the experience was exquisite . Not only they had extremely friendly staff but they also had a prompt service . Moreover the sushi was amazing. We had shrimp and basil spring rolls for starters which had a very distinct taste , followed by California rolls and Bangkok rolls . The California rolls were very refreshing and the Bangkok rolls though yummy were difficult to eat in one go as they were slightly big. All in all a delightful experience . Must go place.

On a work lunch decided to explore Mori Sushi and they even have an entertainer on it recently. I have been on the hunt for a great sushi place and what a find on a random day.<br/><br/>The food was absolutely fresh and especially with sushi if it ain't fresh it ain't worth it at all. The springs rolls were crispy and piping hot with an interesting shrimp and basil filling.<br/><br/>The sushi size was bigger than your average size so do not over order even if you are really hungry.<br/><br/>I loved the new style Californian roll which had a slight spin and great flavours. The hot Bangkok roll had a crispy fried covering which was crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside.<br/><br/>Can't wait to go back again!<br/><br/>So went back again and did a repeat of the California Maki and something new Bon Bon appetisers and salmon sushi hot roll. Unfortunately the quality was on a lower scale this time. You can see the difference in the both the Californian maki roll pictures.So this has made me reduce the rating to 3.5 due to inconsistency of flavours.<br/><br/>Ambience 5/5<br/>service 5/5<br/>Food 4/5

I used to order mori sushi every 3 days at Egypt. I took the decision to try it at dubai and i ordered a delivery from 2 hours. i do not want to say it because i love mori sushi and i was depressed by the taste of food i put the rating as 2 only for delivery because it came only in 30 mins but talking about food i am sorry mori sushi i have to say it i did not finish it and i threw it away i have the pictures but i will not upload it because you will be surprised by the food but nothing was good except 2 things the wasabi and the delivery<br/><br/>Thank you.

Amazing sushi!! Had the Halloween roll, togoroshi roll and the pink panther. All great choices suggested by the waiter himself. Black pepper salmon seared sashimi was absolutely delicious!! The ambiance is lovely! Service is great! This is a must try place

Honestly, I loved the place. The staff were kinda slow at the start, as in it took a while for them to seat us and give us our menus and take my order but other than that they were very knowledgeable about their menu and were friendly! We ordered a bunch of key items from their menu as to try it because its our first time. It was great.. Absolutely delicious. If you are a sushi lover.. You will love this place! The only thing that I can say is that you need to be prepared to be frustrated, because their menu selection is amazing and you want to try everything!

Edible but overrated. The sushi doesnt even taste like sushi because of the sauces. I wish I have some clear pics so that you can see for yourselves. My shrimps&crab salad was made of ONE shrimp and shredded crab dipped in a bowl of sauce. No wonder why the place was empty on a Friday night. Oh and the service was very slow.

Located near Emaar Square in Downtown Dubai. Contemporary styled restaurant. The restaurant was recommended by a foodie friend of mine. We had the Hot Bangkok roll and Hot Halloween roll. last friday night i came to experience dining at the very famous mori sushi,first the staff was very welcoming, then i ordered the best seller mori lemon and it was very refreshing, the bonbon and spicyshrimp mayo was my favorite as an appetizer, after that i tried their sushis and its very good especially togarash roll and spicy lemon.it was a very nice dining experience and we'll definitely come back.😊😊Good job everyone

Completely avoidable on their weekend 'Endless sushi' promotion. We arrived there at 14:30, took us around 15 minutes for someone to get us the menus to order. The waiter was straight enough to say it will take up to 45 minutes for our order to be served which we were fine with. An hour and half later, we were not served till 16:00 when we called the manager, he apologized justifying the delay with the place being very busy! He even admitted that the staff were mixed up and they don't know which orders should be served where!<br/>After 2 hours of waiting to be served, we picked up our starving stomachs, stood up and left after a terrible experience and no sushi.<br/><br/>If you can't handle the traffic, don't promote it with endless promotion. I'm never getting over this terrible experience anytime soon.

Unfortunately we found the food served extremely below average and unappealing. <br/>The gyoza was soggy and tasteless despite choosing the pan fried one, and the tempura was also soggy lacking a crunchy batter. <br/>The sushi was also extremely bland and not what I expected in terms of flavor or texture. We opted for the special calamari sushi which was filled with veg and topped with over fried calamari. <br/>The eel and avocado was more passable. <br/>The service received was the only saving grace of our experience as the waiters were extremely attentive and efficient. <br/>Based on the quality of the food - Mori's is extremely over priced and I wouldn't return. <br/>They also don't serve local sparkling water opting to serve Badoit only which I find extremely annoying.
