The Bhukkad Cafe is one of my comfort restaurants. I love the ambience and the vibe of this place, located in Al Karama. They have variety of foods on their menu. My personal favourites are chilli chicken which reminded me of my childhood home, Kolkata. The veg chowmein is delish, the flavours are so perfect. One more dish which is one of my favourites is their keema pav, I love the way they serve it in a steel tiffin box and it is a burst of flavours in your mouth. All in all it's a wonderful experience.

Came in for a late dinner/snack. Started off with Pizza fries. Good amount of cheese and sauce. Next was the corn chaat. Really good in taste with a perfect balance of spices. Chicken afgani sandwich was good. Tasted more of tikka sandwich but not complaining as it was fresh. D let down was the Gooey brownie (as they call it). It was more of a chocolate cup cake with 2 spoons of nutella on top and some chocolate sauce on it. Stay away from this and am sure you will have a good experience !!

I accidentally found this cafe long time ago when I was walking around the neighborhood. First impression from outside was very inviting, cozy and cool. I didnt go as I had appointment with my friends to dine in at others. However today went there and experiencing the cafe. Portion is huge with good taste. I really recommend the cafe manager to do more marketing cause this cafe deserves to be known widely in Dubai. Some of friends whom I went with didnt even know / heard about this before. I really wish by posting this, it would help them to do word of mouth marketing scheme. Really enjoyed my time and will definetely come back to try other stuff.

This was a place we had heard a lot and had been waiting to visit. Love the walls the seating and decor. Its so much like back home India. Like their service and staff who manager came twice to ask if al that we ordered was nice and if there is anything that can be improved. Overall a must visit for a casula family outing specially with kids who like to try different flavors of India. Chat to chinese to Tikka and the drinks

After waiting for one hour here comes after chowmein and kolkata chilli chicken, only to be found tasteless and so full of salt...that's my entire week's of salt intake....not worth it...very poor service, order a day in advance and then go and sit the next day, you might get it fast!

The first thing that will catch your eye is the ambience. This restaurant has a funky and quirky style which will may you want to venture in. But unfortunately, the same feelings were not shared for the seating, as it is quite uncomfortable. Moving on to the food, Bhukkad Cafe offers a good variety of popular Indian snacks and street food. With its whimsical names for the dishes, you would want to try all the dishes out. We decided to start with Classic Vada Pav which was served in a cute little truck. The vada pav was average in terms of flavour and spice level. The Masala Cheese Toast was divine. The cheesy goodness was packed with flavour and it was served with chips on the side. We also tried the Threaded Chicken which was quite unique, it was wrapped boneless chicken which had a crunchy texture but it seemed to be slightly overpowering. We also tried their popular Beat Wali coffee which is the popular way of preparing coffee in India. It is also known as beaten coffee. This coffee was rich, creamy and strong. The price range is slightly on the higher end in comparison to the other street food restaurants in Karama. Overall an average place to visit.

Visited Bhukad cafe recently it’s a small cute cafe which is always filled with people. This place is so vibrant Loved the ambience. Great place to hangout with family and friends We ordered - Pizza on Puri - Paneer Cheese bites - Ginger Tea Paneer Cheese Bites- Was super Cheesey, and super delicious. Pizza on Puri: My personal favourite We liked pretty much everything we tried. Do give a try! Everything seemed to look so funky here even the menu was creative it will keep you occupied for a while😍 Service was prompt. Kudos!!

It was such a delightful visit this place with my squad. Had an amazing time. Well decorated and vibrant place. I found menu layout different and bit confusing. First we ordered Chat platter which had 1 samosa and 5 different types of chat dishes. Though the taste for all chaat dishes were same due to same chutney they used for all . All the ingredients used for chaat were fresh and authentic. Staff was so polite and helpful I got customise veg pasta on my request 🤩 Enjoyed my evening with good ambiance and music.

It is a great restaurant cafe which really excites you the moment you enter inside. The interior is so fine and soothing to eyes. It feel retro and modern at the same time. Comfortable seating all around and the fusion food that we tried on zomato gold 1+1 was amazing. Pani puri pizza and paneer cheesy bites was too good. Also the adrak chai was superb. Must visit place and we will come soon to try something else this time

The staff is very polite ( Big shoutout to Rohit for being so nice ) and the ambience is fantastic. A very chill vibe indeed ; their Dal makhni is so delicious and authentic. The kal khatta watermelon is a must try too. Pani Puri not so great and their tables are maybe too nearby in terms of spacing but Your Go to Instagram worthy spot :) !

Great decor, funky and charming. The staff was helpful. The food is also delicious but the competition is fierce when it comes to Indian food, so I can't say it was the best. However I will absolutely try some other dishes-preferably with a larger group since the portions are large and sharing is caring!

Just look at it from the outside, you'll WANT to go in. The decor, seating, spacing, lighting, everything is so on point. The music could be better, but hey what the hell, it's vibey. The menus are arguably the best I've seen in Karama. Really funky, attention-grabbing graphics and reasonable pricing. With Zomato Gold, eating there is a steal. Me and a friend got the Lollypop Lagelu, Chilli Chicken Fries and the Chicken Mac n Tikka. We shared a Cola Float as well. Lemme just say, the fries are OUTTA THIS WORLD. Whenever I go back, I will always always get those fries. Crispy, sprinkled with just the right amount of masala, and garnished with spring onions. AND. Loaded with tender delicious chilli chicken chunks. Couldn't stop eating those, wish we had gotten more honestly. 10/10 from me right there. The lollypops were loaded with masala, the common indo-chinese kind. These were 8 small sized winglets but marinated and cooked to perfection. I would've liked a little more meat on my bones you know, but I can't too much against them here. It wasn't great, but definitely not bad either. Spicy? Yessir. 7.5/10 here. The Mac n Tikka was surprisingly two types of pasta, and not macaroni at all. Is cool tho, don't care. But the taste? I do care, and I was sorely disappointed. There's thick creamy white sauce pasta on one side and red sauce pasta on the other, and I think the key is to mix them up before endulging. Well we didn't. And found the white pasta too sweet (yep, sweet) and the red pasta absolutely filled with cardamom flavor. I could barely taste much else. When asked how much cardamom is out, the server said they make a cardamom syrup and mix it with the sauce. Well whatever it is, it was way too much and while the pasta was perfectly cooked and chicken was juicy and tender, the overall flavor let me down greatly. I wouldn't give it more than a 4/10, maybe a 5 because of how flawless the rest of the prep was. The coke float was just basically what its named after, except WAY too much ice people. Make sure to ask them to tone done the ice if and when you order. Overall it was a pretty good experience, I wasn't too fazed by the pasta at the time, and would definitely go back again to try out some more of their menu. Really nice service and comfortable ample seating. Would recommend for sure 😁

Super well lit, filled with #colors, made #comfortable with cushions, lots of pop #art and jokes, murals and designs on wall - this place seemed so carefully designed to cheer you up instantly! I was lookin for a casual cafe to hold a women empowerment workshop at and I got to know they have a setup perfect for presentations because they offer their offer for the use. Plus us participants tried their yummy snacks included vada pav, pakorey served with chutney, sandwiches, cupcakes and most inportantly tea and everything was just the way its supposed to be! Perfect to suit our desi taste buds. Highly recommended. Also because of their service.

LOTSA SHOW, AVERAGE FOOD !! Having passed this restaurant a couple of times, we never got a table previously and it looked very glamorous and a happening place... This weekend we went in early at around 8.30 and the place was practically empty...the decor, setup, and menu is quite quirky and different as is the case with most places which want to stand out...full marks on this aspect- but the hype does not live up to the expectation where it matters the most - the food... Strictly speaking, quite average - nothing really great which would entice me to come again...getting into our meal order- Highlight being Mithibai Grill sandwich- all that a sandwich should be and more ! Veg. Chau Mean - very ordinary tasting and not worth it Pull out Pav - dry in consistency and not a very appealing presentation- skip this one.. Bombay Frankie and crispy chilli Panner just about pass the muster.. The other aspect which has become a very common feature in the restaurants is that they serve only a small bottle of water- if a family is dining in they have to order quite a few bottles- I simply don't understand the logic of this!! Overall, fancy names and decor will attract a crowd to check out the novelty of the outlet..what matters at the end of the day is the quality of food served and this is where Bhukkad Cafe has catching up to do !!

If you are looking for a lazy relaxed evening in Karama area, don't look further and head to Bukkad! Good and Creative ambience with nice music selections and they even have live music sessions during weekend. Coming to the food, the selections are unique which would trouble you to choose what to order but the portion according to me it could have been a little more. Foods are tasty but not exceptional compared to its setup but they do overcome that minus with excellent service. All over a decent experience.

My experience at Bhukkad Café was a good one. The cuisine of the restaurant is what I loved the most as it was something unique and exciting to go through and order. The overall look of the restaurant is very similar to what newer restaurants are doing now; following a modern ambience. Yet there is something extraordinary about it which separates it from the others who have tried this style. The nostalgia felt when you enter the cafe is what makes it special. Once we ordered our food we had to wait for over appropriate waiting time for a simple café despite the fact that there was hardly anyone else to serve or cook for in the café. Otherwise it was a great time at the Bhukkad Café.

This place is a decor heavy cafe in Karama. Interior decorator seems to have been on a free run. Though it appears to be setup for ppl to have a lazy relaxed evening, the seats are not. Quite uncomfortable. Music is nevertheless nice. Menu looked really nice and chic but deciding what to eat wasnt an easy task considering the menu layout. Coming to the food, portions were good. Tried their mithibai sandwich, onion rings and the bombay frankie. Onion rings was a dissappointment considering its value for money. Presentation was nice though. Sandwich and frankie were decent. Had a banana strawberry smoothie which was kind of watered down. On the whole experience was decent.

Being a vegetarian you will have a lot of options to eat. the Tea is amazing and perfect for chaifanatics. Ambiance: Good lively and creative. Twice they had live music on the weekend. Food Quality: It was good, up to the expectation. Disappointment: Like most budding restaurant the taste is not consistent. Like a simple banmaska ( Bread bun with lots of butter with a tinge of sugar) was amazing on my first visit and it was a disappointment for the next 2 visits.

We had the parsi scrambled eggs and chilli chicken. Neither of them was something to write home about but exactly what you'd expect. However I don't think its worth the money for an outlet in Karama placed in the midst of many other just as similar outlets. Karama is known for such food and at value for money price tags, which explains why this place was empty? I'd go back for a chai or some bevvy since they've an extensive menu of some funky mixes but that is if I go back. Also, if you're going to serve buttered pavs, at least grill them cause otherwise it's just warm butter on untoasted or ungrilled bread. Else, 3/5 for effort. Taste was basic and expected, just didn't live up to the hype. 🤷‍♀️

Our first visit to bhukkad was extremely awful. The staff is in their own world of mobile phone.we placed an order for chole bhature and maggi but the person who took order was still asleep and didn’t order maggi. No presence of mind and couldn’t communicate well. We ordered veg maggi and got chicken maggi .reallt disappointed by the service and would never recommend.

The Maggie was horrible to taste and when I requested the waiter to change it for me as there were too many veggies in it, they were charging extra for it. Item's ordered: 1.) Masala Maggie: The Maggie had a lot of vegetables and it wasn't tasty at all. 2.) Chilli chicken pav: The dish was well made and tasted good. 3.) KeemaPavv: The keema was not bad, but the combination of pav and keema didn't blend so well.

Visited this place for dinner .The Ambience was nice. The presentation of the food was good however the food didn't match up to out taste buds . We started of with Chinese Bhel which had more of capsicum and onions which were not even chopped fine . For main course we ordered Chilli Chicken and chow mein . The chilli chicken was fine but the chowmein was bland and super oily . The watermelon juice was ok. Would nice recommend this place .

Great ambience. Chau Mein lived up to the hype - delicious! Chilli chicken and Keema Pav were average - disappointing considering the reviews. The Bhukkad burger needs some rethinking! Finally, the pricing doesn’t match up. Way too overpriced for the quality of food served and the location. I’m happy to pay for a good meal...but this wasn’t one unfortunately. Writing this review since the owners put some effort into the decor and the menu. So hoping they will listen to feedback.

This place is very pricely for the quantity of food. We were super hungry after a long travel and wanted to try something different. Stopped at bhukkad as the name suggest its hungry. Ordered three things 1) papadi chat- this chat did not have any masala or sev on top it was just curd papad n churney being super bland. 2) vadapav cheesse burst - the price for this 28dhs.., this is super super expensive fr two pav little cheese. Totally disappointing. 3)ordered milla regguka sandwich which was super bland nothing more .the chipd yhey se c You de In total not worth to revisit n order the above one Super super expensive not at all pocket friend

#bhukkadcafe One of the quirkiest cafes i saw in dubai be it for the names they have for the dishes or decor of the place...this is one place for all the bhukkad out their to chill and eat to their hearts content One more thing which was different about this place was that the description they had for each food item on the menu For example the Chole Samosa (Tum jo aaye zindagi mein baat ban gayi- samose mein chole millaaya chat ban gayi ) The so samosa chole was the first dish and next we order was Rangeela Pani Puri along with Chicken Junglee Sandwich and Sev puri Sandwich Next on the table was the Kolkatta Chilli chicken along with Chau Mean And Mac and tikka which was a desi twist on the angresi version of Mac and Cheese with tikka sauce past We also ordered the pull out pavs which was stuffed with paneer abd oodles of mozzarella z and brushed with herbs we even tried the Dal Makhani shots which was creamy dal makhani served with crisp Enough to satisfy your craving any time of the day. We ordered bombaiya bhel, aloo tiki burger, bread pizza, very berry mocktail and Ferrero Rocher shake.. the beverages were good. But, the fries with burger were uncooked from inside and there was hardly any pizza sauce in bread pizza.. just cheese

This place is one of the most coolest and trendy cafes I've been to yet. This place is perfect for a hangout with friends or a group of people. The unique interiors make the place feel super comfy. This is what we ordered - Kolkata Chilli Chicken, Bombay Club Sandwich, Mac n Tikka, Chow Mein, Kolkata Chilli Chicken, Cheesy Panner Bread, Brownie Milkshake, Vanilla Cola, Kadak Chai, and Ferrero Milkshake Our favourites - Cheesy Paneer Bread (MUST TRY!) it comes with fresh chips and two sauces, Kolkata Chilli Chicken - tastes awesome and goes great with noodles or rice, and their milkshakes The food is priced very well (it's not very cheap or budget friendly though) - you get what you pay for, the quantity is very good. We loved the ambience, it was so unique, and the seating was so different as well. Service was also good, and there were no problems. It was very good. Would have been better if they had read special cooking instructions and the request to not send plastic cutlery! First time order - portions were not great but I guess the Zomato campaign warrants restaurants to reduce the portion sizes, right?

Been here after with my wife on a weekend to try out their dishes as my wife was very much interested in the way they serve food. yes the presentation of the food served are great and the ambiance is nice, creative seating, great interior. professional staff. but i was not so satisfied with the food. we ordered pav bhaji and veg noodles. pav bhaji was very average, noodles were nice. the portions served are very less against the pricing. not a value for money. high priced

Visited bhukkad cafe Ordered their kolkata chicken which was very nice Fries were ordered for my lil one, they were very dry & extra salty We also ordered their chicken tikka mac & cheese it was very disappointing after having kolkata chicken We also tried Pav bhaji which was very below average pav bhaji However, kolkata chicken was too good. I will keep visiting this place & also the customer service was amazing

**Bhukkad Cafe Review** . I have been wanting to go to this place since day 1 and zamana guzar gaya jaate jaate.. . What a lively and zara hatke cafe which has all sorts of interiors to make you wakeup!! Love love ❤ . Talking about food, the tea is a must have!! Veggy pakoras must have!! Cheesy sandwiches must have!! Im not joking, im serious. Big serving size and tasty food - kahan milta hai aesa combo? Brownies were soft and chewy. So so good. There menu has a variety to offer and im sure they live up to the mark. From vada pav to samosas, pizza to cheesy bites, anda gotala to seekh kabab omlette, sandwiches and twisted maggi - everything is with a twist here 🤪😬! . So what are u waiting for? Be a bhukkad at @thebhukkadcafe located in Karama side. Parking is no issue, and not a very rush site. Its chill mahol 🤟 . Saadiya - @saadisays1
