Post COVID tried this branch as jumeirah Br was closed. After having dinner at Jumeirah br couple of times this branch did not meet the expectation, post COVID. Our favourite clay pot dishes were not available rather missing from the menu! Dishes ordered; - Soup/Mercimek - 8/10 (Taste) - Beyti Kebap - 8/10 (Taste) - Village Sofra, Adana -Urfa Kebap- 6/10 (Taste), sides 8/10(Taste) - Iskender Kebap - 9/10(Taste) - Baklava with ice cream - 6/10 (Taste) Adana meat was quite dry, whereas rest of food was good but service was bit laid back. Dessert was also disappointing, didn’t like the so called Turkish icecream and also Baklava was not fresh. Food is bit pricey and unfortunately they had no discounts available as well, anyways would not recommended this branch at all. Jumeirah branch roof top is best place and their service is also gr8.

Previously we have tried turkish food from Tikke,this was our first experience having turkish cuisine in the restaurant. We ordered Kesap kofte (butchers kebab) and kebab Ali nazik (kebab on yogurt and eggplant relish). I enjoyed the well cooked meat. There was no smell and the relish was yum. The rice that came as a side had a beautiful buttery flavor. The naan were baked perfectly and were oh so yum. I'm thinking it must be genuine taste of turkey. The only down side for me was the hummus.. it's not their cuisine so I wont blame them but also I didnt get a feel of turkey in the setup. It would be amazing if the beautiful colourful culture of turkey could be portrayed in the restaurant.. after all, that is what a dine out experience is :) apart from that good food and good service. ..

Lovely place & very well hygiened. The moment you enter the restaurant, staff is very pleasant & warmly welcomed. Food quality has maintained so well, which makes us go out, even in time's. Kebabs are so fresh & mouthwatering. Mezze which you gives you that extra bit of touch to have more. Desserts ofcourse you cant miss at all. Must visit palace.

There was plenty of food. But the salmon fillet didn't taste that great it had a bitter taste at the end. My friend who ordered salmon felt the same thing. Though the potato that was with it was delicious. Overall was ok. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Food: Bread Passivetizer - bread was a bit too chewy but the dip and olives were great Doner and Cheese Pide - cheese was not the best tasting and the doner could have been seasoned more. The dough was very good though and it was a nice quantity Adana Kebab - delicious bulgur served with a moist and strongly seasoned kebab. I really enjoyed it Tea - comfortable finish with plain black tea Service: everything came quickly and hot. Staff was also very nice Ambiance: great atmosphere and comfortable seasoning Bang for Buck: prices are a bit too high I would likely come back although maybe avoid a couple some aspects.

I might be wrong for this review..but being an indian we ought to have a tongue which wants flavour which replenishes your buds Ordered 1mtr long turkish special sheesh kebab, most famous and most ordered (as told by there staff ) .. The order was fulfilled in just 3mins ..we had the long meat on our narrow table..the width of kebab was good..was filling for 4..but the taste was not upto the mark..

Had dinner in Turkish village , first of all the seating area and our table wasn’t clean , and when we asked the waitress to clean it - she behaved really arrogantly . Coming to the food , the quantity compared to the price is extremely less , the kababs were delectable and the presentation was also up to the mark . At the end we ordered a mix berry milk cake , it was dulcet and would highly recommend it to others .

The waiter with Moustache was very rude, he served wrong plate and wanted us to have it by force. Then when we told him will wait he told his colleague in front of us in a very rude way “YOU WILL EAT THEM” Other than that, tables are very smelly! Even the cloth they clean with is horrible! The waiter dropped the fork on my child's eye while clearing the table. I dint make a fuss only polietly informed the waiter that he needs to be more careful and thank God that it dint his hit eye directly. Atleast expected him to check on the kid when we were leaving or clearing the bill to give his apology. But it was bad to see that he went to ignore us and send another staff member to close the bills. The staff may need more training to ensure the customer feels satisfied.

Very disappointing breakfast menu and poor service. Server was disinterested in us and a little curt. At 1130am lunch options not available. Server Seemed to be annoyed with something. Asked for breakfast dish With runny soft eggs and got well done eggs. Server never came back to check. Will not return as second disappointing experience at this location.

This was my first attempt at Turkish food and I never knew kebabs could taste this good. The meat tastes very fresh and you just know it’s of best quality. Although It’s a bit pricey and you can’t use any vouchers, its still a must visit for good quality kebabs

Was tempted to try this place while roaming around in dubai festival city, after seeing their large indoor and outdoor seating area. The place is pretty spacious and ambience was perfect. Totally loved the interiors. We started our meal with turkish mezze platter and konye bread with meat Quantity and quality of mezze platter was too bad. Konye bread was crispy and flavorful. For mains we had Iskender chicken and abu ghanooj chicken. Portion size was good for both the mains ,but not worth the money. Staffs were rude and not attentive at all even though there were not many customers Ordered for room temperature water and they served chilled water and was not even ready to replace with room temp water All i can say is they are overpriced for the service they provide 👎

Had lunch here and honestly the place falls far below other Turkish joints like Kaftan. The pide was too cheesy, the appetizers dry and tasteless and service rushed and staff looked uninterested. The only dish I liked was the mini lahmchun.

It was a wonderful experience at the Turkish village, very good and fast service. Food was served in less than 15 minutes. The shrimps plate was amazing and the portion was enough for two persons. Kebab was ok, nothing special about it. The chicken shawarma doenner was good. All in all, it was good but a bit overpriced

Visited Turkish Village with family to enjoy their 1 meter kabab & tender lamb. Very nice ambiance as they have out door & indoor sitting area. Both the items were very delicious . They have big portions as 2 items were good for 6 people and still some food was left over. Friendly staff , cleanliness. Overall very nice experience. Don’t forget to enjoy their Turkish kawaa to complete the dinner.

Beautifully located on the festival city promenade, Turkish Village has a lot to offer with it's extensive menu and traditional interiors. We were fortunate enough to eat there while the christmas market was on so the christmas festivities added to the charm of the vibe in the restaurant. However the food was average and as someone who has tasted better turkish food at multiple other places around dubai, I'd say this one deserves a miss. We got around to trying the moussaka, lamb kebabs, doner sandwhich, baba ganouch. With the exception of the baba ganouch, no other dish provided enough bang for our buck. Especially the kebabs were absolutely not the 90dhs we shelled out. The doner meat was very juciy, but overall the sauces threw it under the bus. I'd say they have a long way to go in order to be considered for a re visit.

Turkish Village is located next to the waterfront in the newer extension of Dubai Festival City mall. The ambience is modern yet traditional with more than adequate indoor and outdoor seating. Our order - Mixed Pide (without eggs), Beyti Kabab & Roasted Chicken on Saj. The meal begins sesame bread and assorted sides & olives. The chicken & meat is absolutely tender, juicy, well seasoned and melts in your mouth. The portions are enormous and definitely worth the wait. The service is great. At the end of the meal, you are served with Sulaimani tea, which is a great end to a fantastic meal. Absolute recommends - Mixed Pide & Beyti Kabab.

We had an incident during reservation, which I will brief below after my food experience The decor is so royal and perfectly blend with feel of Turkish Culture. Great ambience . If you wish to have authentic turkish cuisine then try this restaurant. Following ordered from their Menu : Cream of Chicken Soup - I rate Excellent Mini Lahmacun - I rate Superb Hummus Chicken Doner Wrap Mixed Grill – I rate Excellent Adana/Urfa Kebab - I rate Oustanding, highly recommended Mixed Dessert Platter - I rate Superb Mint Lemonade Cream of Chicken Soup – awesome, tempting and well flavoured with shredded chicken and creamy. Recommended to try Mini Lahmacun – The tiny mini bread with meat spread on top and perfectly baked. The taste was excellent. Recommended to try Hummus – was fine to go with the bread they offer in beginning with other 3 dips. We liked the dips than the hummus. Chicken Doner Wrap – prepared in saj bread , wrapped with juicy chicken with pickle and had good portion to eat for two Mixed Grill – consist of Chops, kebab, wings, tikka and bulgur rice. Must say, all items are perfectly grilled and tasty, with add on bulgur rice to complete Adana/Urfa Kebab – A Must try , delicious kebab which we wanted more, the meat grilled to the perfection and the aroma will tempt you more, this was an outstanding dish with rice to add on. Incident: I made reservation over by email, though after sending Email ,Team didn’t respond I had to call the Restaurant late in the evening to find out if my reservation was booked. But when I spoke to the staff over the phone they said no confirmation came from their customer service reservation Team and they insisted me to book again for next week, since late booking are not taken. I told them no issue, I will re-book my dinner for next week. However to my surprise I received call back from the Manager Nejdet, stating that his staff narrated this incident and agreed to take my booking on special case and reserved a table. I really appreciate on this gesture and the customer service assistance from him. Thank you Mr. Nejdet for the wonderful evening and the Turkish food we loved it.

Decent food but way overpriced! AED 222 for the following: 1 order of Kebab Baity 1 order of Iskander Kebab 1 order of Mutabal 1 bottle of Coca Cola The kebab baity was nice but it’s practically 2 regular sized kebabs wrapped in bread along with a small side of burghol and grilled vegetables and a few spoons of yogurt. The kebab was tender and just enough fat to meat ratio! The Iskander Kebab was also nice with chopped up pieces of Turkish bread at the bottom soaked in tomato sauce and the fat from the shreds of kebab. Their mutabal is very average the coke was well an average Coca Cola! Overall good food but way to expensive for what we ordered

Was here to try the street food menu. The buffet was setup with all the street based turkish food. The ambience here is amazing and really beautiful. Taking about the food, loved their sandwiches, rolls and wraps the flavour of the meat was amazing, but the breads were kind of too hard and dry. The boiled food like the potatoes and the corn were way too bland, there was no salt in the food. A bit of salt in it while boiling would make it a perfect dish. Its a really nice concept and addition to the menu.

I decided to head to this place today morning for breakfast . Very welcoming at the entrance ! But let me begin , when we chose our seat by the window , I struggled with the chair to pull it as it was heavy ( or felt heavy that moment to me ) so i took time lol and the awkward moment was that their staff were just behind me watching me ? Like aren’t you suppose to even suggest helping me at that moment ? Kinda unprofessional :) So it took the waiter quiet a while to come take our order , he lacked enough knowledge of the menu! So we ordered their ottoman breakfast for two , which was a very big portion and I should have ordered for one ( which serves 2 people well enough ) but I guess the waiter lack of enough help and knowing the menu got me more than I was looking for ! And it took them 15 mins to just bring me my tea !!! And it was funny that I could see another waiter carrying the tea and he was literally rounding table to table not knowing which table asked for tea which I believe came from lack of communication from their team ! I tried calling my waiter for like 5 mins and he was ignoring which got me mad , and I told him what kind of service this is while there’s no one in the Resturant even ! All he could offer was simple sorry !!! And they had to change the tea bring another since it got cold rounding here and there ! My experience was so disappointing !!! On the other hand food was pretty good.and the only reason I’m giving it 2 star is because of their service not the food !

I went in with no expectations and even expected to get disappointed with the food... but how wrong i was! The food is super good, super fresh and super simple with great authentic flavours. We ordered a garden salad with feta, the veggies were crisp and freshly made, a chicken doner which was an altogether different style of doner - crispy pita bread, roasted and flavourful chicken inside. The mix grill platter was a variety of items - really nice meats the best were the lamb mince kebabs. As you are seated, they get you some bread and neat little tiny dishes of mezze - well presented and very tasty. The service was a bit slow - we had to call for attention. Prices are on the steeper side, but you also pay for ambiance. Then venue is wonderful large and spacious also overlooks the creek and you get the fireworks and water fountain if you sit for dinner. Interiors are done in the Ottoman style... i liked it. will be going back for their kebabs.

It's amazing to see despite the large seating available at the restaurant, it is almost always packed. We went for a celebratory dinner. The décor is beautiful and very true to the taste of Turkey. The menu is not very extensive and personally found it more on the pricey side. Specially because the portions served were not very large. Their complimentary bread platter with side butter was warm, fresh and tasted divine. The mains, the cold mezzes, were all delicious. The service was prompt and very friendly.

Turks love their breakfast for sure...we love it as well. The honey and kaimak (cream) is my personal favourite. Today we tried the cheese and meat saj and it was ok. Maybe using kashkaval would have made it taste even better. This restaurant is very clean, the staff knows the products and can explain easily the ingredients. For sure we won't need lunch today. We have tried Turkish Village before in Jumeirah branch and back then it was one of the very few Turkish restaurants. We were excited to try the branch in festival city. The place looks amazing and the service was super fast , now the food was super ok, the hummus, and the vine leaves were below average , the doner kabab was really fatty. Their Adana Kabab was really good. An average Turkish restaurant.

اسوأ استقبال كان اليوم من الموظفه المسؤله على الباب حين طلبت منها ان نشرب القهوة التركية ومعي والدتي سيدة كبيرة في السن جاءت خصيصا لشرب القهوة عندكم .وبعد ان احتفى بنا الموظف المسؤول الذي يعلم اننا من زبائن المطعم ذو الطلبات والفواتير العالية ولكننا اليوم كنا فقط بحاجه لثلاث فناجين قهوة وكان طلب والدتي ان نشربها على طرف البحيرة في الفستيفال جاءت الموظفه وارجعتنا وقالت الجلوس في طرف البحيرة فقط للطعام وارجعت والدتي بإسلوب فظ ولم تراعي سنها ..اعتذر الموظف الذي يعرفنا ولكنني قلت له لن آتي ابدا بعد الآن لاللطعام ولا لشرب القهوة وسأنصح صديقاتي بذلك ...اسفه ان اقول ان هذه الموظفه اساءت للمطعم ولكل من يحضر اليه

I went to their restaurant over the last weekend, the food was really good, we enjoyed it , the service team was nice. But nevertheless I had a not pleasant experience, regarding their reservation, I have read on their Instagram page” as you can see” that we need to book for the view setting, so I called at around 3:00 pm to book a table at 5:30, the lady on the phone replies that we can’t do a booking on a weekend and it’s a first come first serve, I need to come to the restaurant in order to have a table, I told her that this is not what their Instagram page says, So we went to the place, we told them we need a table on the view, and guess what? They tell me it is only on reservation!!! So I asked to see the person in charge and I explained it to her, where she rudely says this is only for group reservation and not for 2 persons only. I was fasting and wanted to have my Iftar there due to the time, so we took a table inside the restaurant, but this was not a good way of dealing with customers

Turkish cuisine has always been a mystery to me. It’s either a massive hit or a grand fail but the Turkish village has managed to reach a state of equilibrium that may not be necessarily good nor astonishingly bad For appetizers I ordered the mushroom with cheese and spinach along with a bowl of meat soup. The mushroom was quite nice and the cheese was hot and mixed well with the spinach, but the soup was a bit stale, I felt like it needed a twist to make it truly spectacular. Moving on to the main course, I ordered one harem sultan chicken with burgul rice instead of the normal rice and meat with cream sauce plate(served in a heated jar). The presentation of the food was quite nice and I immediately felt attracted to it and wanting to indulge in the experience. Yet unfortunately, the food was half decent with no memorable after taste whatsoever. And finally, A plate of baklava as a dessert followed by a nice cup of tea. Now this was exceptional especially the big baklava piece, it was just rich in flavor with the right mixture of honey and pistachio which makes you crave for more. Overall the Turkish village is a nice one time restaurant to bring your family to. But prepare for a hefty bill at the end cause the price range here is a bit too much to digest.

Outstanding food and service. The bread the they serve initially is as fresh as it gets. We had lamb chops, donner kebabs and a whole lot of food. Everything was exquisite. Also since we had been there for dinner, we could see some lovely shows at the promenade. This is a must visit place for Turkish food

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Dining at a mall, you tend to expect the usual fast food flavors, but Turkish village was a different a in good way. The restaurant itself is very open and with very comfortable seating. Your meal starts with some bread and a plate of butter, olives and cheese which was very nice. The fresh bread is full of flavor and it's something that I can eat on it's own. We ordered a mix plate of doner kebab and lamb kebab with grilled onions, both dishes were perfectly made. And in the side dishes and each meal is good for two people. What I truly enjoyed was the service we received. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive. Thought the prices are a bit high, it is a place that wouldn't mind going back again.

I'm going to start off with the good things about this place: • Amazing Decor • Great seating • Large space • Perfect for family/friends gatherings • Lots of things to choose from the menu Other than that, the food we ordered tasted pretty average. Although I did only try the doner sandwiches, I'm sure other items on the menu wouldve tasted better. Would probably go again and give it another shot!

Well the food deserves at least "4", nevertheless the floor manager lacks some customer service basics unlike the nice smiley waitress who's working under him... The portions are giagantic except the mezzah the food is well cooked... The prices are not a bit but two bits high.. But the food quality is good

Like every Turkish restaurant the ambiance was fantastic and chill, staff were friendly but it took some time for them to bring our food, food on the other hand was cooked very well, and had that "Turkish scent & design" in all of them. So in total Ambiance =4.5/5 service= 3/5 food=4.5/5 Hope that's a fair rating : ) looking forward for another experience in here.

A lavish lovely restaurent with a lovely view of the creek. The purpose of todays visit was to try their massive Ottoman breakfast and it was big indeed. I loved their Krymal Yumurta & Turkish Saj along with the bread and ofcourse the sausage. The spread of cheese was very enticing . The tea and the juice is unlimited . A filling meal indeed .

What a wonderful interior design; the resturant looks very modern and luxury , I ordered couple of dishes and appetizers along with the family and all were delicious ending with Turkish tea was the best! i added some photos, give it a try it is worthwhile, by the way I purchased 2 pack of their Turkish coffee beans mehemt efendi best coffee :-)

Very disappointed visit which we order our food to be spicy but they bring it not spicy when we request from them to make it spicy they took it for more than 5 minutes then they bring it back cold with just Tabasco sauce on it . The chef standing on the line looks at our table & show Avery bad attitude & tough face as it's look our fault which we notice his seems he doing us favor to cook this food . The other point only one host welcome us with smile but the rest of the staff looks rude face more than that chef which we think it's the restaurant standard ???

Decorations are nice... stuff are welcomed... food is good... i like there meat more than chicken... zaater salad was delicious especially when i mix the complementary cheese with... only food took so long to prepare although the restaurant was almost empty. After eating at Kaftan, I'm sorry to say, Turkish Village doesn't even come close. Food: I "only" ordered the "Et Doner" with some white rice. The meat had a lot of fat stuck to it, I didn't eat it at all. The rice was the only good thing from my meal. Staff: I just want to say, it was during Ramadan and they wouldn't give me the food until 7pm and that made me very unhappy. For next Ramadan, please give let customers take away earlier than 10mins before Iftar. The good: Your staff was kind enough to let me use the rest room. Thanks

When you miss your trip to turkey or are craving for an authentic turkish food experience . This is your place to be. Went here craving for Manti but ended up ordering Their Roasted Chicken on Saj & Their Meat Doner wrap. It was sooper loaded and were full of flavors. Freshly made food with the delicious fresh turkish bread we totally enjoyed the whole dinner. Surely going back for the Roasted chicken Their portion size is great making it a total value for money experience.
