So I’ve been here a few times because friends always suggest going- now every single time I’ve had the food I’m so disappointed. I used to eat meat and when I had it it was terrible, my friends ordered the wings, steak etc... and they didn’t like it. Need to improve on the vegetarian option- I’m sorry but no one wants to eat cauliflower on cauliflower rice. Spicy mushroom tacos aren’t spicy.... <br/>Food really lacks flavour and love... please improve because you have a great atmosphere, cool staff, and drinks... but the food is awful.

The best part of the restaurant is the food. It’s pretty awesome. The short rib is amazing, the tacos are great and the Churros is the best in town. <br/><br/>The ambience is ok and it has a nice theme. But it’s a bit of a brunch place so there’s often some sloshing brits a bit drunk which isn’t my scene.

I'd recommend this place for drinks and fun, but not for food. Portion sizes are ridiculous. In the end is an easy bar with very normal food, I don't understand the price policy. Maybe it would help to serve some plain nachos to help filling up a bit. We took a set menu and it was barely an appetizer. <br/>The best thing was the service, very kind and helpful, always smiling. Had a lively brunch at La Carnita! The ambience, staff, food, vibe everything was perfect! The cocktails are great and the place is buzzing! There was a particular salad I really loved. And we opted for the lamb chops as well as chicken for the mains. I preferred the lamb over the chicken. But overall a great brunch!

Disappointing quality, very expensive and not Mexican.<br/>Most of the menu is tacos apart from some dishes tagged as to share. Tacos means something on a tortilla. Combinations were ok but not large and not In any way Mexican. Margarita was served in a glass tumbler and was sweet. They do not have salsa. I asked for Salsa to go with a guacamole dip and was given a small pot of tomato mix with a charge of 15AED.<br/><br/>They are supposedly on Dubai Entertainer but beware, the only dishes covered are the few to share. The Taco 3 pack meal is not covered. So this means if you buy enough food for four then you can get two for one.<br/><br/>Service was begrudging. Bill came wrong. Whole occasion was rather disappointing. We were hoping to find a good Mexican restaurant - this is not it.

What a VIBE! First the very welcoming staff and the amazingly designed venue. The food was great!!! La Carnita was my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Hence I was exited to eventually be able to go to their Brunch, specially it is organized by the infamous secret parties group.<br/><br/>For my surprised, the food was really bad that we just had few bites to silence our hunger. I couldn't understand how this can be the same restaurant I love. Drinks cocktail menus was very limited .<br/>The only thing left from the original resturant is service. They were attending and fast.<br/><br/>We should've known better when we entered at 2 and the place was still empty. Nevertheless, host rejected our request to move to different table saying that all other tables were booked !!!<br/>Occupancy of table that day was 50% at best(till the end)<br/><br/>I was very disappointed

La Carnita is one of my favorites in the Dubai Marina! Great food and margaritas, but the atmosphere is the best, with good music and vibes to make a great brunch afternoon or ladies night. Definitely recommend the kale salad, cauliflower tacos, churros, and an iced cold regular margarita. Been there lots already and will keep on going back!

The service was SO slow even if wanted to try more food we wouldn’t have been able to. The first beer we ordered took 30 minutes to come and when it did it was wrong. After we returned it the correct one never came so I eventually just went to the bar and got it from them. <br/><br/>Our tacos took 40 minutes to arrive. Just two small tacos. We lost our appetite after that. The wine they serve is pretty average and the food is not worth waiting so long for.

Was really looking forward to visiting La Carnita as it was highly recommended by my daughters whi had visited the Toronto outlets. <br/>When we enquired and ordered local water (@Dhs12), the server said it was Aquafina. So we were surprised that they served water in a glass resealable bottle. If you are going to give me tap water, please say so. <br/>We started with the 3 dips nachos and mango & avo salad. <br/>One of the worst nacho chips as they had zero flavor and tasted as if they had been left in the open for a couple of hours. The 3 dips were frozen cold. Seemed as if they had been removed from the fridge 1 min before serving. The gentleman in the table next to ours said exactly the same thing to the server. The server said he would check with his supervisor and get back to us. No one turned up. <br/>The mango avo salad was without flavor. <br/>My wife and I decided it wasnt worth it and didnt order a main course and left. <br/>I think there are much better options in Dubai. <br/>

Turned up and no one at the welcome desk, went to the bar to be told to go back to the desk and wait for someone to come. Had to wave to get attention of waiter after about 15mins of no service. He then nudged the waiter next to him, he looked at us, shook his head and said no and walked to another table. Still took another few mins for anyone to come. Food was good but overpriced for tacos. Overall disappointed, had been looking forward to going for a long time, the price wouldn’t have been such an issue if the service was good.

I’ve been there many times now and I can’t fault anything. The staff are amazing and I would say the bartenders are my absolute favorite in Dubai. With their extensive and very tasty cocktail menu as well as a great menu of Tex-Mex food you will have a great night out. They also have a Mexican themed brunch (El Secreto) every Friday which you HAVE to try. You’ll love it.

There were few Mexican restaurant in Dubai that I could truly enjoy, most of which sadly closed down, but La Carnita truly compensated for that! Everything was great but the churros truly stood out! That saaauce was BOMB (still craving it!!). The waiter was the cool kind of friendly (not the invasive uncomfortable friendly lol) and his energy was exceptional and inviting. We were celebrating a friends bday with a Friday brunch. Luckily it was on Entertainer and per person came to Aed 180 for unlimited drinks and sumptuous amount of Mexican Tacos 🌮 and Churros to die for. Being a foodie good food is undisputed necessity for any brunch but this was light on the stomach that left us room for drinks and 💃 🕺 dancing. Such party atmosphere that the whole crowd was dancing along with their staff. We had been waiting to visit La Carnita's Ladies Night for months. For 150, we pick 5 items off the menu and have a choice of unlimited margaritas, sangria and wine. The music is amazing and the vibe is nice (a big difference from the wine bar that used to be there), but everything else was a disappointment. The mains are quite expensive, and although I was told they were good, they left the men wanting more, but not being able to afford more. The items on the ladies menu were average in taste. My biggest issue was the drinks. How could a place that has a day designated to margaritas, not actually give me a consistent glass? The first one I'm pretty sure had soda water in it, and the second had so much of an acid taste, I could not drink it. Big disappointment. Also, I shouldn't have to ask twice for a drink on ladies night when I am paying 150 dirhams. The place was too busy for the waiter to remember our drinks. We were also charged for two waters when we only got one. A very expensive night that had been planned for awhile, and all we enjoyed was the music... Also, bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towels left by 10pm.

I visited La Carnita today directly after their brunch and although the kitchen was closed they didn't let me down. We tried Carne Tacos and the meat so good and juicy. Their margerita jar is big enough for an entire night -thats not a challenge- and to leave with the sweet tooth try their heavenly churros ice cream sandwich. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Justin noticed us complaining about how the salad is spicy and came directly to help. I would definitely visit again.

A group of me and my friends went to La Carnita last Friday for the Secret brunch. Some of us didn’t even know that it was there until a couple of weeks ago so it was great to see that it had everything we wanted on our doorstep. <br/><br/>As u walk in the decor And the DJ takes you out of Dubai and somewhere into South America. All the staff were very welcoming which puts you at ease. <br/><br/>Drinks were already on the table which again made us relax as some brunches the service is slow so you need to wait for drinks. <br/><br/>Waiter went through and explained the menu and how the food was going to come out. And the food was amazing. Because of this I have booked to have a proper sit down meal to try more of the menu. <br/><br/>We were then asked to go upstairs to the other bar which was a lot of fun and bottle service and very reasonable prices so we stayed all night. <br/><br/>Cannot wait for my next visit

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t meet the expectation at all. We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the restaurant, because it was hyped by few blogger reviews. Lady, who took our reservation was very rude and careless. They called twice a day before and on the day to confirm the booking, so it made us think the restaurant is booked out. Once we have arrived in the completely empty restaurant at 8pm on Friday evening, hostess sat us on the worst table right at the entrance despite us saying that we have anniversary and were expecting an intimate table elsewhere. After some argument we were moved to a different table and hostess just literally walked away on us. Waiter gave us the menu but wasn’t very knowledgeable of the offers of his own restaurant. We decided not to spoil our anniversary and simply walked out of the restaurant before placing any order. Never again!

I came here sometime back with friends. The place is great and has a good vibe. However I wasn’t too impressed with the food. The chicken taco was ok but the lamb taco was terrible. This was my first time visit here<br/><br/>1. The Sangria I ordered, was one of the worst Sangria I have ever tasted. I totally disliked it.<br/><br/>2. I being vegetarian, had limited options which was absolutely fine with me, but the size of my tacos, were definitely smallest taco I have ever eaten! The radius of the taco was literally not more than 5cm.<br/><br/>3. I had even ordered Mushroom Tostado, because the taco definitely couldn't fill me up. The size of this taco was again not more than 5cm of its radius, but the taste of the mushrooms were good.<br/><br/>4. My friends ordered the fried chicken with corn and the short ribs, which were much more disappointing as well. Plus, according to me, the quality of the food did not match the prices.<br/><br/>5. The beer was good, and the customer service was decent. That's about it.<br/><br/>6. Overall, it is over priced and it wasn't value the m oney.<br/><br/>7. I am definitely not visiting back.

Came here for Friday Brunch on my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately found the experience underwhelming. I don’t think they had enough waiters, because service was quite slow. The tacos were not tasty, ingredients that they used included cheese wiz. When the mains finally arrived, the waiter dropped one of the chicken plates on our table and they fell off the plate. He didn’t even apologize or acknowledge that or offer to bring a new plate. The mains were actually better than the tacos but the experience was overall very disappointing. We didn’t stay for the whole brunch, we left after dessert. For a brunch to be successful the food and service need to be on point, and I didn’t enjoy either enough to recommend this place or visit again.

I advised the restaurant of my gluten intolerance and vegetarian preferences, to which Michael our amazing waiter had pre-written a list of foods I could eat! It is so refreshing to be surrounded by staff that go the extra mile to really know the menu inside out. The food was insane, especially the Cali salad. We also tried the coconut and tequila cocktail which was the BEST cocktail I have had in Dubai, although the next two times we ordered it, it didn't taste the same at all. But food, atmosphere and Michaels awesomeness deffo made up for that!

The decor is fun and it looks like a nice place to hangout with friends but don’t expect to have a good catch up as you will be screaming over the loud music. The customer service was poor, we ordered a couple of dishes and needed them to be customised as some of us didn’t eat beef/meats. Even after clarifying 2 or 3 times, they still got it wrong.

To begin with the place and ambience is really nice, the house DJ and the staff are fabulous and always cheerful. The problem is with the food and its pricing.. average tasting, super small portions and heavy on the wallet makes me give the place an average rating.. I feel only the churros and lamb chops were worth its penny. Yesterday at the ladies night, the 120 price tag was again not justified with watered down and super sweet free flowing margaritas n even rose which we tried.. think it's better to order a-la Carte on ladies night<br/><br/>I feel there are better places in the vicinity which offer you good food options and high spirits while keeping the wallet in check:)

I've been seeing a lot of photos of La Carnita, as it's new and trendy at the moment.<br/>I wanted to check it out for sometime, however i only got the chance to yesterday.<br/>All the photos of the food look amazing and it makes hungry everytime i see a new post on Instagram. So well done on the social media work.<br/>Unfortunately, the experience did not match my expectations at all. The venue is great, the vibes are cool but the food is less than average. I don't see the value for money as well. Tacos should be a part of the appetizers, considering the portion size. The waiter did not manage to mention as well that if i am looking to be full i need to be order probably 5 of them, since they are mini. The corn, which i was dying to try since it looked so good, was served cold and i only tasted the cream on top. we also ordered a non-alcoholic version of the Margherita, which was served in the smallest glass full of ice, hence the actual drink was just one sip.<br/>My friends told me they had couple of incidents before there, like when it's really busy the food take ages to be served. I decided to go anyway, however i was really disappointed. The place has a lot of potential, but it needs a lot of improvements and attention to details. From training of the staff to advise about the menu, to a follow up about the food (which again never happened) to making sure the food is served warm on on point.

Where to begin. Simply Amazing. We went on a Taco Tuesday, and tried every single taco on the menu, and let me tell you, hands down best tacos in town!! Authentic taste, explosive flavors, and the churros wowwwww. Better than the ones in Madrid. The staff was so welcoming, especially Tiwara, who guided us through this culinary experience. A must try!!!

On the back of my first visit, I convinced my group of friends to try out La Carnita for the Friday brunch knowing that we will not be disappointed. However, turns out that the second time around La Carnita was an upsetting experience. The Brunch menu is limited which was fine, but the quality of food was drastically compromised. The tacos that I raved about were sub standard and the Lamb Chops which were the winner of my previous experience was a bigger let down. They were overcooked and dry which seemed like they we're churned out like a McDonald's delivery.<br/>Hopefully the quality is maintained and consistent be it brunch or a la carte dining.<br/>Plus Point: Some of the staff are really nice which was highly appreciated.<br/>

Mexican beef chorizo taco and grilled lamb chops were my favorites.<br/><br/>Staff was really exceptional and they were available to support any moment. Our waitress was also great to recommend food and drinks. That night there was happy hour so drinks were very affordable. They were nice enough to even accept our drink orders just before happy hour ends despite the glasses piling up on the table :) <br/><br/>On top of all, their ambiance is really great and very cool. The place is located very conveniently to Marina and JBR. <br/><br/>So once ambiance, service and taste gets together in a place; that’s enough of a combo for me to very confidently rate with 5 points. It’s a pity that I didn’t take any photos that night so will need to visit once more :)

The worst! I don’t know how to start with..... they are friendly at the entrance, since you inside things change and not for good, the manager is creepy I was friendly with one of their batenders and he Stand up next to me for listen our conversation he probably thinks I was trying to get extra free drinks when is not, very disrespectful this place likes to mess up with your personality, the dj was bad also, nothing good! Enjoyed my last visit my friend. Got to see a new club cartel as well. Great Latino place with excellent music and dj. Food was very nice. We tried churros of course. Mango avocado salad. And some drinks. Along with roasted corn. Nice menu. I ll re visit the plain again.

Just WOW !! From the moment my friends and I entered till we left we've been greeted and served by the most friendliest staff. The atmosphere is just amazing where you feel as if you're surrounded by friends as the staff engage with you and certainly create a vibrant atmosphere for their guests. Their cocktails are one of the best that I've tried and I've certainly tried plenty of other places :) I for sure will be coming back and highly recommend giving La Carnita a visit.

Worst place ever. They are nice at entrance just to fool you into spending money and promise you entry to the club. Once you pay the bill at the restaurant they tell you the club is full. This comes after making a reservation and them forcing us to join the club. Absolute rip off. Absolute racists because we saw other people enter while we were rejected. Thanks for a great birthday!!

Home to everything street style: cuisine, art, design, beat, beverages, vibe and interiors, which could easily pass for a road corner, La Carnita on the lower level of Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Marina, fills you with highly positive energy right from the entrance. <br/><br/>Passed giant wooden doors, a big bright screen briefs you on what’s on tonight: <br/><br/>“… When the working day is done,<br/>Girls, they wanna have fun…” <br/><br/>A quote from from Cyndi Lauper’s signle back from the 80’s, a perfect intro to Dubai’s beloved and one of a kind “Ladies Nights” with free often unlimited drinks, set menu or nicely discounted dishes, entertainment and dynamic music. La Carnita offered a free flowing high beat by resident DJ Travis accompanied by Margaritas and Sangrias from 8pm to midnight for us, the girlz every Monday night. That’s when I stopped by. <br/><br/>The place visualizes a concept of “you could be anywhere in the world” with its awesome cosmopolitan crew, eye catching design with a few shady elements (cage bars, exposed brick and bulbs), delightful mix of accents, easy going bartenders ready to mix a dream in a glass and to party and the best Mexican street food in town. A tribute to Toronto’s origin, La Carnita serves a Bloody Caesar, hard to find in the Middle East, and first mixed in Canada in 1969 with clam juice as a key ingredient. I love my Caesar crazily spicy with a pickle on a side but don’t you worry La Carnita’s mix is a more traditional beverage paired with a celery stick (AED 50).<br/><br/>Following recommendations from Michael, who looked after our table, we opted to start with the “off menu” special beetroot salad with the loveliest and the lightest avocado mousse imaginable. As this place is often referred as “taqueria”, I had to try their house made super crunchy tortilla chips with all kind of dips: guacamole, corn salsa (OMG) and bean cueso (AED 55). Scorpion chicken wings was the last appetizer ordered (AED 58) and they didn’t last long. <br/><br/>From the tacos selection we picked three different single tacos with the intention to split them in half: a very tender short rib (AED 32), exotic tuna ceviche (AED 40) and an absolutely brilliant polo frito with a fried chicken and peanut butter hot sauce (AED 28). <br/><br/>Our main course was inspired by the region’s love for lamb chops. They were served glazed in pomegranate sauce, generously sprinkled with sesame and accompanied with charred lemon (AED 165). Needless to say, they were devoured within minutes. As for dessert, I was impressed by chef Lara Said’s twist on traditional churros, which she turned chocolate with coating them with Oreo cookies crust and intense liquid chocolate (AED 35). Another must try is smooth peanut butter paletas (AED 28). <br/><br/>P.S. Not so many know, but right next to the entrance to La Carnitas there is a secret door leading to a secret bar. If you are looking for an exciting unimaginable adventure – contact Cartel and ask for a code word. There is no other way to get in. Mexican seems to the new Peruvian in Dubai, with La Carnita at Intercontinental Dubai Marina being the latest taco-centric street-food eatery on the block. The mood is dark and grungy (ok not really grungy, this is Dubai after all) with lashings of red neon lights to add that ‘L.A.’ vibe. It’s a slick fit out, even if our window-side booth seating leaves us a touch too far from the table to be comfortable (some cushions would be a help).

I rarely write reviews but honestly my experience at La Carnita was terrible. I love Mexican food and was super excited to eat at La Carnita but I had the following problems with it:<br/>1. The sangria was extremely weak <br/>2. It’s over priced for what you are getting - there is literally zero value for money. I don’t mind spending a lot for a lovely meal out especially Mexican but this was not worth the price. For $100, I got 2 (literally two) tiny tacos, two watered down sangrias, 2 tiny glasses of wine, and chicken wing (see below).<br/>2 Never order the chicken wing - this was badly seasoned and not marinated. It literally had no flavor.<br/>So basically if you are considering going there, don’t. <br/>

Fun and amazing brunch!<br/><br/>Some friends were visiting, so we decided to try la carnita brunch as I was there not so long ago for dinner and it was very busy, the food was also very good.<br/><br/>The brunch was outstanding!<br/>By the time we arrived the venue was already full (luckily we had a reservation).<br/><br/>Food was very good. Energetic and fun music, quick and attentive service, and what we felt in love with: staff. How good is to enjoy the service of care, attentive, energetic staff with personality, it marks a diffrence when it comes to enjoy your time in a venue.<br/><br/>Thank you la carnita team for taking care of my friends and me!<br/>We will be back soon!

Possibly one of the worst levels of service at a restaurant in Dubai! Went with a group of 15 friends to the Friday brunch, and had our server refusing to serve us tequila unless it's mixed with something, and refusing to get us another drink until we were done with the one we had, or just plainly disappearing with our orders. Clearly don't understand how a brunch is to be run! Food was counted out one by one and we asked for some extra guacamole on the side and got refused!! The manager Ricardo was standing by our table being creepy and seeing what was being served, and was giving the wait staff a hard time as well. Moreover it was just an attitude issue, which combined with the lacklustre food and watered-down drinks, makes this a place I'm definitely not going to again! Go to the accents brunch upstairs instead :)

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS AWFUL PLACE! This is officially the WORST brunch I have been too in Dubai. Starting with the positive, the ambiance was nice and well that was about it. The music was ok as well but it was all downhill from there. The woman serving us was stressing out our entire group and trying to make sure we didn’t get any “additional drinks”. She told us (very rudely) you are only allowed to have another after you finish your previous one, which is fine but she was being so negative that we didn’t even end up getting what we did in fact order! Then the drinks themselves were sooooo watered down, we kept saying it tasted like there was no alcohol in it and she ignored us. The rest of the staff were quite unfriendly and RUDE as well. The food was below average and they just refused to bring enough in time and then told us the kitchen was closed. For dessert They gave us one piece of churro per person and I had to ask for more again and again till they gave us some. The whole group was celebrating a birthday which was RUINED becausLe of this. I wish I could get my money back honestly.

All the love for la Carnita. Lovely restaurant with a bit of character, very affordable, simple but very well thought through menu. Great for a sharing experience. Their tacos are life! Kale Ceasar salad is too die for. As well as churros to be honest. Signature cocktails are amazing, make sure you try them all, one by one.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Dubai! <br/><br/>We came to try out Taco Tuesday, a make your own tray of 6 hard shells and meat of your choice for 180 AED. But Of course we tried out some of the apps as well... yum!<br/>The staff and manager were very friendly. The food was amazing as well. Best churros we’ve ever had. <br/><br/>Only reason i gave this place a 4 star rating (would’ve given a 4.5 if i was able to) is because its a bit pricey for the portions. I would recommend to just adjust the portion sizes. <br/>

So this last night (8.30pm, we were maybe 2 of 6 people in the whole restaurant). <br/>Whilst trying to figure out what to order and sipping on my margarita, I had my menu literally snatched out from underneath me from an apparent disgruntled staff member (not even the assigned waitress to my boyfriend & I’s table).<br/>When my boyfriend asked for my menu back & asked why it was taken away from me so rudely, it was explained that she didn’t want my margarita glass to drip water on it, so she took it away.<br/>... um... either you have a drought like menu shortage or your waitress was being incredibly rude.<br/>In my years of editorial work & reviewing restaurants here in DXB, have I ever encountered rudeness like that.<br/>If you guys were packed & needed to ration out the menu’s, kinda acceptable. But to have one snatched out from under my nose with no initial explanation... not cool.<br/>I’m sure you can understand & wouldn’t appreciate it done to you if you were dining at a venue.

Well cooked meat with perfect accompaniments !<br/><br/>Dessert <br/><br/>Tres Leche Cake - Tasted like a milk cake. Still prefer a classic Tres leche to this <br/><br/>Churros - The surprise elements - Dulce de leche! The churros were also crispy on the outside and soft inside. I can’t praise La Carnita enough! It’s got a great atmosphere. The margaritas are the best I’ve ever tasted and the service is so warm and friendly. The food is tasty and I’m delighted to see that the restaurant has now introduced a vegan taco. I’d say this is my favorite restaurant in Dubai - thank you, la carnita team for some great experiences so far and I’m looking forward to many more!

Last Saturday visited La Carnita for Mexican brunch and we absolutely loved our experience. The interiors of the venue is fabulous and we liked the friendly vibes. The food and the drinks were excellent, they had a live DJ and the music was oh-so-good. A must-visit venue for all Mexican food lovers!

Absolutely amazing place, full of energy and life. Loud music, moody atmosphere, industrial interior design. Food was delicious and plenty of vegetarian options. It's almost like tapas where they recommend you order 2 or 3 different items.

I have very mixed feeling about my dinner at la carnita. The place is looking nice, food was nice but I confirm all the previous comments. There is a problem prices VS quantities. 90aed 3 mini tacos that barely feed 1 person. Everything small and pricey. <br/>Pitcher of sangria full of ice and not tasting like an actual sangria but more like a sugary cocktail. <br/>I would say it's more a bite and drinks place than an actual restaurant.

Five friends and I attended the El Secreto Friday brunch at La Carnita on 31st July and had a disappointing experience overall. <br/><br/>We arrived at 12:55 for the 13:00 brunch and were promptly led to our table. We had to wait until 13:05 for a server to come and take our first drinks order, which arrived soon after. Two ladies in our party ordered rosé wine (one of the key reasons for booking the brunch was the inclusion of ‘Oh! Rosé‘ on the menu. However, the server brought a different rosé, of poorer quality. When asked about the Oh! Rosé, he said at first that the menu was old and needed to be updated. Following that, he explained that the venue had “some” Oh! Rosé in stock “but not a lot”. We asked him to bring some and he agreed. Unfortunately, we had to ask twice more before getting it and the two girls received their first drink at 13:25. Not ideal. <br/><br/>The service overall was dreadfully lacking. Each time we wanted to order more drinks we had to ask 2-3 times and it felt like we were routinely forgotten about in the corner we were in. The staff were friendly and sympathetic when we complained but the service didn’t improve. Throughout the day we felt like our table was an afterthought. <br/><br/>The food was tasty and we were all happy with what we got, but we did not receive dessert. One of our party enquired about this at 16:20 when the brunch had finished and we were eventually given a plate of churros, after asking twice more. <br/><br/>Our party were left frustrated and a little shocked by the disorganized service, which really let the whole day down and did not represent value for money. One gentleman, who seemed to be in a more managerial role, stood at the bar for most of the day on his laptop, next to our table, and would have witnessed our exasperation had he been tuned in and shown willing to ensure customer satisfaction. This didn’t happen and also added to our disillusionment with the brunch. As a side note, he also brought a plate of tacos over to his ‘work’ spot at the bar and ate them half way through the brunch, which we all thought was quite unprofessional. <br/><br/>Having contacted Secret Parties and La Carnita to discuss the matter we only received a response from the latter, which was token at best and did not address all of the issues we faced. Poor customer service showing that they’re just ready for the next bunch of people to come in, believe the hype and empty their wallets.
