Visited Din Tai Fung earlier this evening and I must say its probably the worst service and food I have experienced since arriving in Dubai. Food was cold and oily. Had complained about the food being tasteless. Waitress was not interested. Overpriced and tasteless cuisine. Certainly would not recommend any one to dine at this restaurant.

I liked the place. I love fried rice with eggs and it was just ideal for me, plus with chicken. Everything was cooked well. Also I tried shrimp & chicken wontons tossed in special sauce, which was interesting combination. Unfortunately I was alone so I could not eat more. <br/>*Good money for value.<br/>*Menu has pictures so you can relate.<br/>*Jasmine tea was refilled once I finished mine and it was for free. One gentleman asked me again while after if I wished to have more tea. <br/>- Service is not that efficient tho, however personnel seems friendly. <br/>I will come back to try more dishes.<br/>

After hearing all the hype about Din Tai Fung, we decided to give it a try. The staff were extremely courteous and kind, made sure to explain everything to us. <br/><br/>We ordered Crispy Beef, Braised Beef Noodles, Chicken Shrimp Shumai and Beef Egg Fried Rice. <br/><br/>The food wasn’t very exciting, it was very basic. And because it was very basic, I thought it was very over priced. If you’ve gone out of the country and eat the same food from a road side stall, you’ll understand the difference.

Got the vegetable and chicken dimsum and the shrimp dimsum (both steamed) and they tasted ABSOLUTELY heavenly, especially with the sauce they serve it with . Definitely recommend this place for their steamed dimsums

Chose this outlet for Father's Day and didn't regret the decision. I am not the best judge of the authenticity of the dishes but one of the best chinese dining option we have been so far. I like the smoky flavor of the noodles, the shrimp wonton is quite balanced (wrapper and shrimp) and the chicken on the fried rice is well seasoned and has a distinct tast that is not overbearing. They provide sufficient options. I look forward to visiting this outlet to try other dishes.

I don’t understand the hype about this restaurant.. I ordered twice now as I wanted to give it a second chance: very bad food, no flavor, oily, horrible quality... I don’t understand how reviews are so high? I ordered once it was horrible.. kept reading reviews and also my friends told me to try again... the second deliver was even worse... chow mein was disgusting! Honestly I don’t understand the high ratings of this place! It’s terrible quality!

I always wanted to try this restaurant whenever I visited @malloftheemirates but never really bothered waiting in the very long queue that usually takes an hour to get a table, hence proves the extreme high demand of this restaurant all the time. Until last week when my cravings hit the sky & after constantly hearing all-star reviews from everyone hiked up my urge to finally try this restaurant. Guess what? For our convenience, they let us decide our order as we wait by giving us the order sheets so that we don’t have to wait further instead get served with a freshly cooked meal as soon as we are seated. Another fun element here is the little baskets that they have under their tables to keep our belongings safe & away for us to enjoy our meal without any disruptions.👌🏼<br/>Now getting to the food, I worry that my little voice in the foodie blogsphere might not be able to do justice to this tremendously loved restaurant for the rave that it deserves being a world famous dumpling paradise. However, I can’t help but share my immensely enticing food experience over here. XiaoLong Bao is DTF’s one-of-a-kind dumpling, which is a hearty serving of rich luscious broth & flavorful tender fillings sealed perfectly in a delicate steamed dough. It’s safe to say that DTF is a home of the legendary XLB, indeed a special one! As the reviews and the waiting queue at the outlet indicate, this restaurant is very popular. <br/><br/>I went to experience the same and unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. We came here for a dinner on a friday evening and it was very packed but we only had to wait 10-15 mins. We had the vegetable chowmein, sczhewan chicken/veg wontons and xiaolongbao. All of it was very delicious and came in soon.<br/>Our server Cyrus was very friendly and even offered to make the sauce for the bao for us.

This restaurant has one of the best and fastest service. We ordered the chilli noodles and the chicken and shrimp wanton and pot sticker along with the new XiaoLong Bao. This is one place I love to go back each time I crave yummy Chinese food. You will never be disappointed here for sure! A must try!

Din Tai Fung is anyday the go to place for the incredible amazing Xiao long baos. <br/><br/>So we ordered for the regular Xiao Long Baos which come in a nice bamboo steamer crowned with a ring shaped dough. The soup inside them tasted brilliant as usual. We then ordered for the schezuan wontons which are the perfect appetizers featuring a blend of flavours. We also had the chicken chowmein which looks simple but bursts with flavours and aroma with vegetables and thin chicken strips.<br/>A big thumbs up to this place as usual.

while almost always crowded and famous for their "40 minute waiting time" (MoE only), they still have the best bao in town. portion size is just ok (could be a little larger) but the food is always, always tasteful and satiating. this combined with the extremely efficient service makes for a delightful visit every time. have tried their shrimp lettuce wraps (very fresh!) crab and chicken LongBaos (dont stop serving!) chow mein and szechuan chicken wontons - they are yet to disappoint.

Zomato reviews not always true. This joint was expected to be good, but the serving size was smaaaall. The chicken Kung Pao had unchewable side of chicken pieces that we normally throw away. I felt like I paid too much for such normal taste and size.

We were at DTF Mall of the Emirates for late lunch. Due to Covid19, the restaurant is putting a lot of dividers in between of tables.<br/><br/>Unfortunately these separators are very light and can easily fall.<br/><br/>There was couple of kids played at the next table and knocked on the separator. <br/>The separator fell on a 10 years old kid on our table.<br/><br/>A waiter helped to move the separator elsewhere.<br/>The parents of both kids said sorry and that's it.<br/><br/>No came and asked about the little girl and offered anything until WE ASKED for tissue, wipes etc.<br/>Even the manager was not informed of the incident.<br/><br/>Honestly, with number of people going there; this lack of professionalism in handling incident in the restaurant is very upsetting.<br/><br/>At the end the manager did apologize and gave us 20% discount (that is anyway same if I used my Zomato Gold).<br/>I clearly told the manager what I wanted is just for the restaurant to be more alert in handling such situation; not the discount.<br/><br/>I really hope restaurant management will pay more attention on this type of incident in the future.<br/><br/>Thank you!

We went to this restaurant on Friday, it was a bit busy, we faced 3 issues.<br/>1- we requested plates plates since we sharing all the items, we had to return the plates 3 times as they had an awful rotten egg smell.... not even once any of the staff checked the plates before giving them to us, we eventually ate in paper plates.<br/>2- most of the food tasted weird, funny and smelly. Kids refused to eat and went to an actual restaurant after that for them.<br/>3- before even finishing our food, the waiter came and put the bill on the table and machine in his hand for us to pay... we never requested the bill or he never asked us if we wanted it or not...<br/>Absolutely terrible experience, definitely not recommended and never going back again...<br/>1 star is way too much for that place...

After waiting for 25 mins we were offered seats as the restaurant was full. We did place the order while waiting which resulted in quick delivery. The food taste was good. Service was not at all satisfying. The starters came before the plates or shall i say saucers. We had to ask for cutlery. After the starters again the main course came but no meal plates. They completely forgot about the dynamite shrimps. We received it after we finished the main course that too had to ask for it 3 times.
