Cozy place to spend a lot of time when it gets a bit cooler ( they have blankets ), I recommend the cheese platters and pizzas to snack on.

The worst client experience in Dubai after trying hundreds of restaurants...<br/><br/>Both waiters were rude and so useless! <br/>They put a cold tea on the table and it took them literally 20 minutes to come back to us. <br/>When I called the waiter - he said “ I m coming” but he never came back until now. Instead, he went to check all the other tables.<br/>The waitress was also very rude. No smile, no Hi, no sorry for the cold tea. Nothing! <br/>I will never go back there and will make sure all my network is aware of the poor level of service there. <br/><br/>Perhaps because we didn’t drink wine... Maybe customers who order wine have a better treatment... but me and my friends are Muslims so we don’t drink!

Undoubetdly one of my favourite places in Dubai. Its not commercial at all and is definitely a hidden gem.<br/>The place is hidden inside a hotel at CityWalk with lovely minimalistic woody interiors and just good vibes. Their massive wine collection is lovely, the Angus burger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had in Dubai, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.<br/>I've been to this place a couple of times and I've never been disappointed, highly recommended for wine enthusiasts and people who enjoy good conversations without screaming over blaring speakers.

the place was well made. perfectly suited the current weather in Dubai, though the issue was the sheesha was below average and the selection of drinks during the happy hours also was very limited. we were a group of 16 ppl and rather would give it a skip the next time and check out other places in citywalk. ther only saving factor was the food. korean fried chicken and nachos made to perfection along with the sweet potato fries which were a delight.

And restaurant simply refused to shut the very large and wide main door which lets heat and humidity right inside the seating area. <br/><br/>barring the heat. The venue has a lovely rustic feel to it. Great selection of wine and cheese. <br/>Need to work on their mock tail menu as they have none. Their ice teas are filled with syrup- not fresh fruit ( disappointing considering the amount the charge for it). <br/><br/>Our waiter “Kevin” was of great help with referring wines and keeping us hydrated with the AC situation.

Not exactly a wine tasting experience but good enough to try from 2-3 wines and pick one for eve. I would have loved a wine flight experience though. <br/>In terms of food not many good options for vegetarians. Celebrated my birthday here yesterday and I couldn't have chosen a better place! They were very efficient with managing table bookings and accommodating customer preferences. Cozy and relaxing ambience and one of the best outdoor seatings in the city for big groups. High tables with dim lights and no crazy music. Perfect to enjoy a quiet evening out with friends in good weather.<br/><br/>The wine and cheese pairings are definitely an experience to try out. (Our favorite was Gruyere!) Our server was very helpful and efficient in managing our table. Helped to pick out the cheese for us novices and also made it very easy for us to settle the Zomato golds in our bill.<br/><br/>A suggestion to management would be to include their cheese menu here on Zomato.

We randomly selected this place for a friends birthday because they served both alcohol and shisha. The place is just amazing. It was quite sparsely filled, for it was a weekday. We first sat near the bar counter and then moved on to the shisha tent on the opposite side. The ambience of both these was really good. They have Zomato Gold too! All the more reason to visit this place.

Visited Grapeskin on a Thursday night for drinks and shisha. Above all, I would like to praise and acknowledge the staff who are not only hospitable, but very knowledgeable about the wines and drinks on offer. <br/><br/>Grapeskin has a great outdoor setting and would definitely be a first choice to visit in better weather. The shisha was very smooth, with the kind of hospitality that one is not accustomed to in fancier shisha cafes in Dubai. The cocktails are creative, with bartenders always willing to lend their ear to recommendations and specific asks. The wine list is comprehensive without the surcharge seen at usual five star restaurants.<br/><br/>Overall a great place to chill out on a weeknight or weekend.

Chilled place located in City Walk. I guess you have to know about this place as its not easy to find. Its quite hidden and the name of the place is neither big or clear enough. The bar and indoor areas are quite cool however the shisha area in the tent needs some work. The seating is not very comfortable. Many seats dont have back rest and this is important if your sitting and having shisha for a long time. The food variety is also quite limited as well as the drinks. More choices and variety would be appreciated. Overall it was an okay experience. Could have been much better.

I’m rating your establishment 4 stars (would have been 5) only because the service was weird. Our server had no knowledge of the beef charcuterie items because ‘he did not eat beef’. I understand that most people have food restrictions but I don’t think it’s appropriate to mention that to your diners in a restaurant. We’d also asked him to recommend a good cheese apart from the usual, and he couldn’t help us there either and we chose a terrible cheese which we almost gagged on (DO NOT PICK THE SOFT SHEEP CHEESE). And he made no move to get us another server who was well versed with the menu. I’ll chalk it down to our server being new and inexperienced but it was still a strange experience. Still loved the place for the gorgeous venue and the beautiful selection of wines.

Went to the Grapeskin tonight. They claim to be the wine place and apparently serve wine according to ypur mood.<br/>But tbh it was disappointing. My husband loves wines and knows a lot about it. So I took him to this place. But sadly the servers there had no knowledge of the wines. It was as if we had gone to any regular bar.<br/>If you claim to be specialist in some area, do show some effort!!<br/>I don't think I'd recommend this to any of our wine loving friends

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at this fantastic venue. I made my reservation through Mr. Guillaume who's the bar manager and as per my request, the table was ready when we arrived. Grapeskin is a speciality wine bar with a food menu consisting of international tapas and small plated. Their drinks menu is also very elaborate, with Shisha being a cherry on top. The service was prompt and friendly, though I believe that adding another person in the waitstaff will elevate the entire experience. The menu is really well priced, I can easily see this place booming with people in near future. Thank you for the great hospitality guys, as well as the surprise birthday cake. You'll be seeing more of me!

I'd call it a Hidden Gem for a wine & cheese connoisseur. Don't worry if Dubai isn't thinking of having Vineyards, you can do wine tasting right here. Three perfect wines from different parts of the world served with a platter of the best cheese suited for the wine. We ordered some crunch and munch to accompany the rest of the wines we gulped and gulped. <br/><br/>The dips were amazing especially the peanut hummus and truffle dip. <br/><br/>Food is above average and service on a weekend is a pretty slow. <br/><br/>The interiors of the place are amazing and during winters it’s the perfect location for a sheesha and some wine.

The service is good, if you like being completely neglected by waiters. <br/>The prices and menu setup feel like a scam. For example I requested a glass of the Zonin that shows on the menu 55/80/1XX (I forgot the third price). At any normal place the first price is the glass, the middle is a caraf and the third is a bottle.<br/>Both me and one of my friends requested a glass of our respective wines (among the lowest priced in the menu) and finally received the bill -as pictured- where the waiter decided to charge us the middle price. We asked why he didn’t verify what we wanted and asked him to show us the “small glass” since according to him the wine glass size we drank was the “large glass”; if you see the two side by side you will laugh as they are almost the same.<br/>I swear I have never felt so cheated in Dubai as I have in this place.<br/>To sum up, recommend this place to people you really dislike.

Tried this place on Thursday evening. It was quiet inside but occupied outside. I love the interiors very industrial and urban. Love the detailed accessories and finishes. Coming to food we ordered veg spaghetti which is not in the menu but they made it specially for us, also avocado sandwich and fries. Food was really good and appetizing. We tried 3 different dishes, a platter with 3 cheeses, a white wine and a cocktail and the shisha. Overall the quality of the cheese was not as high as the price was. The potato in both dishes was not cooked properly and neither was the octopus. The shrimps were just fine and the hummus was just hummus with a longer name and a greater price. <br/> the wine was normal but the cocktail was not something I enjoyed as it was suppose to have a purée but it was really waterish and almost without flavor. When we tried to complain to the supervisor for the food, we can not say that she took the comments as a positive feedback. The reply was " I have never received a comment like that before and I always ask for our customers feedback" and I wonder...why she did not ask for our feedback when she was removing 3 plates that were obviously not empty.... before leaving the supervisor decided to come again and say that she spoke to the chef and that they were "sorry for the inconvenience". Dear Supervisor of Grapeskin, please learn the difference between "inconvenience" and "bad experience", it is mandatory.<br/><br/>I would give a 5 though for the shisha. One of the best I have tried in Dubai.

Why go there:<br/>A hidden gem in the middle of the city - perfect hangout for sheesha, drinks and a laid back evening. <br/><br/>We discovered it while walking up and down the city walk. Tucked away from the main alleys in the courtyard of La Ville hotel. Very chic and cozy. Service is great (Haroon was very obliging). Perfect ambiance. <br/>We had smoked brisket and octopus. Decent food. Sheesha is AMAZING!!! Must try.

Happily discovered this tucked away gem while walking around city walk. The courtyard is so refreshing and different. Decor of the place is nice and they have this gimmick of pairing wines to your mood, which is a fun idea. Good selection of wines from around the world. Food was tasty. Service was an absolute winner here. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and cheerful. Seating arrangements are cosy, and the place has a general feel-good vibe to it.

Stop press: there is now Happy Hour between 6-8pm... try it! The Gerard Bernard Red blend is a bargain....<br/><br/>Grapeskin has the potential to be a very "in" place indeed, particularly for the Jumeriah crowd looking for something local and classy. <br/><br/>Dubai is the perfect place for decent wine bars, but somehow the concept always gets watered down by making them restaurants. Grapeskin knows what it is, food is very much nibbles (I can't wait to try the escargot) and wine is the order of the day. Venue is lovely, next to City Walk in a stand alone building on the opposite side of the patio from the La Ville hotel, giving it a sense of independence, lovely decor and atmosphere and I incredibly friendly staff.<br/><br/>A few teething issues: the wine is much too expensive. To pay more than AED100 for a glass is robbery, however here that's one of the cheaper options. Were these grapes grown in the garden of Eden? Secondly there isn't a happy hour (yet - I have a feeling that the business minds will see sense) and thirdly no Entertainer or Ladies Night. New places always think they're highly unique and "better than that" but quickly learn.<br/><br/>So, if Grapeskin sorts out these few points and "gets with the Dubai program" it will quickly become one of your favourite places.

Cool concept. Drinks are recommended based on your mood :) Nice outdoor seating. Good variety of wines. Service was not the greatest. In general the staff is not friendly, except for one very cool guy called Naing. He was very hepful and friendly and turned around our experience with this place, what otherwise would've been very poor.

Ellen, the sweetest person I've ever met and she makes the atmosphere and the experience to this place extra fun she is simply phenomenal. The decor and theme of the place is right up my alley . <br/>P S if anyone likes garlic, than this is the place for you. #awesome menu

So happy with the food, drinks and service. I enjoyed my charcuterie, cheeses and bottle of wine. Perfect venue for casual meet-ups with friends. Friendly staff.
