Offering organic and locally sourced food over the years, Lime Tree Cafe is well known for providing delicious food with a purpose. While they have many branches around Dubai, the first (and best) branch is the one located in the heart of Jumeriah. It has a great outdoor seating area and a separate kids play/reading area. We stopped by for an early breakfast and decided to indulge in the LT House, which is zero sugar cereal and served with milk and jam on the side. The cereal is made of nuts and fruits giving it a unique and crunchy flavour. We also tried the Big Breakfast which is the typical English breakfast with sausages, slices of bacon and poached eggs. It was filling and delicious. The fresh juices and coffee are one of the main highlights in my opinion. The orange juice, in particular, is fresh and exhilarating and their coffee beverages are great. They are proud to be using fair trade coffee beans and being environmentally friendly when it comes to disposable items. The price range is fair and its an ideal place to dine with family and friends.

This cute cafe in Jumeirah is amazing. Loved the ambiance, variety of dishes, cakes, desserts and confectioneries that was available. I had their eggs benedict with some coffee and also ordered their carrot cake, which without doubt is THE BEST CARROT CAKE in the city. Oh! they also serve fruit infused water and yes u get water for free (one of the few restaurants that serves water for free) This place wakes you up and is like the morning sunshine. So lively, yet so calm and pleasant. No Wonder, its such a favourite, especially among the residents around.

If you are looking for a kids & pet friendly cafe that sell organic food it’s a good option. The experience is same as Starbucks or Costa cafe as you pay for your order and they hand you a number to place on your table. Nice outdoor seating the service is alright they take sometime to heat and serve the order even though it’s ready made. The kale pomegranate salad was nice as mushroom Brie sandwich was alright but they need to be a bit more generous with the filling. The pesto salmon pasta was flavorless as it barely had pesto and the salmon wasn’t fresh it felt old so no one had the salmon. The deserts were really good specially the carrot cake not too sweet and no dry just perfect texture. The coffee is very good as well. All in all it’s a good place to spend some time specially outdoor seating.

Was craving something sweet, walked into Lime Tree as they were about closing, then ordered the triple chocolate brownie and a slice of their cheesecake. Both tasted good but the brownie was a bit dense (thick) so I advise they sell it already cut into smaller cubes just to make it easier to consume. My favourite cafe in Dubai hands down - I’ve been coming here pretty much since it opened when I was a kid! I love that there are plenty of healthy and vegetarian options as well as an incredible list of smoothies (kiwi and mint coolers are both 10/10) but a few naughty options if you’re feeling sweet! After hearing nothing but great things about Lime Tree Café, my friends and I decided to visit it’s branch in Jumeirah 1. I was surprised to learn they did not have an actual menu. Rather, they rotate meals temporarily on offer on different days. At first glance, all the options looked inviting. I had a hard time picking out what to order because everything looked delicious. If ordering the cooked food, you had the option to choose how mant grams to order. One was around 200-300 grams and the other was 300-400 grams and seemed a little pricier than I had anticipated. I quickly came to learn that having lunch here was a mistake. The cooked food served is cold and the portion served is far from generous. I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken and Rice dish and while it was tasty, I did not like that it was served cold and was not happy with the amount of food I paid for. While I was left disappointed with the cooked food, I was still excited to try the desserts so there was still hope. Upon recommendation, I ordered the Carrot Cake and was not left disappointed. Every bite of the cake was to die for and the slice served was huge and filling. The picture does not do it justice. I seriously urge everyone to try a slice of their famous carrot cake. I do not traditionally enjoy carrot cake but this was amazing enough to change my mind. I’m craving it now just thinking about it. I sampled the Almond and Date bite as well and it was a little dey for my liking but still delicious and fairly healthy - definitely would have been nice to enjoy with a warm drink. Their triple chocolate brownie was amazing as well although far too chocolatey for me. I also have to add that the free Lemon Water is a great touch. Very refreshing on hot days like these! All in all, their desserts are definitely their strongest point and is the only reason I’ll be returning. Hope they improve the cooked food served! Loved the location, layout and design of the place - very organic and simple. Loved the dessert. Service was friendly too. Food - 3/5 Layout - 5/5 Service - 4/5 Value for money - 3/5

I came here for brunch this week with some friends and we were all pleased with our experience. From the friendly staff ,quick service and good food! All three of us ordered a sharing haloumi toastie with olive , lemon roasted chicken ,roast beef with mushroom and coffee. I'd like to come back again earlier to try some of their breakfast items , as they had quite a selection of pastries by the counter, which smelled and looked amazing!

Lime tree cafe. we have been there I think twice . And both have been wonderful experiences their food is absolutely heathy and tasty which is a rare mix ,also they tend to serve a lot New Zealand based food. Their chocolate cake as seen in the pictures is absolutely Devine and just melts in your mouth, giving out that rich chocolate flavor with ty the smooth texture the ambience of the dinning area also is just relaxing and would be a good place to go if you want to hang with family , friends ,kids anybody.

Really appreciate also for giving my dog a bowl of water (with ice!🙂), however, the bowl was really dirty. At first i thought it was some flavorings added to the water but looked twice and it was like a soil/rusty dog bowl 😯

Not sure where the high rating comes from. Its not a BAD place bt I feel its overpriced. Def not my go to place for brekkie, dxb has so much more Pros -Lovely ambiance (esp if u go to the one in jumeira and sit upstairs) -Food is fresh -Service is fairly quick Cons -I hate having to order myself, and lining up to do that. It spoils the experience for me. -Food is overpriced -Serving sizes are VERY small if you get the prepared stuff -Entertainer vouchers arent valid here

This is place is one of my favorites especially when it comes to breakfasts. The English breakfast is wholesome and filling. The desserts are pretty good too! Nice casual cafe - just had a coffee and the delicious three cheese scones here when I visited. They had lots of sandwiches and salads and baked goods on offer and a great little shop with jams, a few cookbooks, and lots of biscuits and other treats. Would come back! :) Update: came and tried the pistachio and carrot cake. Wasn’t as good as their famous carrot cake, but to be fair that is a very hard cake to beat! I enjoyed it.

They play nice music and have a large selection of deserts and sell some already packaged merchandise which are all made in dubai Their selection of food varies from week to week And so does their selection of freshly baked deserts You just enter pick what you want pay and youll get a table number Today we had a Roasted Chicken Toastie which was exactly as what you expect when you look at it not more or less Second item we tried was Cumin rice with dates and chicken which was alright; better ordered as a side to share rather than a main The iced tea lemon is something you keep coming back for! For desert we had the carrot cake with the cheese frosting which is one of the best carrot cakes ive had ; from a scale of 1 -> INSANE I rate it : INSANNNNNNE!!!!! The interior is very chill and there is another floor upstairs where people can sit work or students can study Its a quick in and out for people on lunch breaks but a much healthier one!

Cute cafè in Jumeirah. I like the chilled atmosphere - there are lots of magazines you can flick through while you have coffee/breakfast. We have been here 3 times now, and it is consistently good. Today we had: -Vegetarian breakfast: Scrambled eggs on toast (so good!), grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, wilted spinach and potato hash. - Their famous carrot cake - One latte and one macchiato The bill was 103 AED. Their cake was very good, but maybe not super fresh. I felt it could have been moister. Coffee was good, and so was the veggie breakfast. Service was also attentive.A nice place for a lazy breakfast, at a fair price for the quality that you get.

Of course but just eating right is not enough it's also got to be eaten at the right time, hence the place shuts by 6pm 😊 Overall vibe: Looking for a bite without guilt, this is a good option. Only bit I wish the food had a little bit more moist, whether it should be saucier or the temp it needs to be served it. Felt it missed out on a home run there..

Could probably give two different ratings for Lime Tree- a 5er for breakfast and 3er for rest of the day, specially evening. Should only visit the place up to lunch time after which the options are scarce and limited. Lime Tree has been around for ages and has been giving out delicious and healthy breakfasts over the years. But the secret is hidden in their cakes. Carrot cake has no alternative in UAE! Very family friendly and bright sunlight allows for a relaxing meal and conversations. Avoid the place in the evening though, they apparently dont have a chef in the evening hours.

This place is an absolute delight for people who enjoy outdoor and rustic yet homely seating environment. We have been there over the weekend and it is always crowded! That says a lot about this place. They serve complimentary lemon water and it is an absolute life saver during the summers. Parking is never a problem and the Jumeirah one, i feel has a better setting. We have tried their big breakfast and the portions are huuugge! They have some good variety of sandwiches. We tried their lemon chicken sandwich and new zealand beef with portobello mushroom. Former is not spicy but tastes amazing and the latter is a bit sweet due to the tomato relish. Their carrot cake is apparently quite famous but we ended up having the berry crumble cheesecake! it was just the right amount of sweet and comparable to the other cheesecake connoisseurs in the region! All in all - a must try if you are looking for a quick bite when in Jumeirah.

We tried this cafe yesterday! I never come back again and I don't recommend it! the coffee, sandwiches and quiche all we had ordered was not good as we expected from the rating and comments!!!! the pastry of quiche was unusually sweet! also the lavash sandwich was totally wet and sinking in the tomato water in my plate! Very very cheap decoration with cold colors that is not usually suitable for a cafe!!! You can see dust all over this cafe like on the package of cookies that they sell , some tables in the end of cafe and the lamp near the cashier was too dusty and dirty!, there was a strange hole in the wall connected with the kitchen that many staff came and staring at us all the time!!...... I never recommend this cafe and never come back again!

In one hand is super close to my house and i love to walk there , the decor, de relax feeling of it, the fresh food and obviusly the carrot cake this is all wonderfull and a perfect ingridients for a lovely afternoon with friends or alone with a magazine. The bad side of it, its the owner or the manager she is just so rude, it turns the ambience into a dark and cold place where you dont feel welcome, its just a shame that one rotten apple have the ability of spoiling the tree, i tryed to talk to her once and make her see how she is ruining the busyness and if she dosent have right personality to deal with people msybe she should leave that for the other people working there.but after i try to make her see that, she continued to be defensive and i just understand that I was wasting my time and money in this place. Its a shame..

It says pet friendly but I went alone and had to order with my puppy and the staff were rude and tried to send my puppy dog out. I asked if they could take my order outside and they said no, I had to place an order inside. So I'm not sure how I was supposed to order. The food was not great either. I used to love limetree for the coffee and cake and pleasant atmosphere but today was a disappointment. The special Easter line of cookies were definitely cute though and we indulged in some gingerbread cookies!

How was the food? Good place for a hearty breakfast - tomatoes, spinach, home made hash brown, eggs and bread. Lime Tree also has healthy options and good seatings - outdoor and indoor. Do try their famous carrot cake! How was the ambience? It will be a challenge though to find seats on a weekend How was the staff? Busy How was the price? Average of 25 for the cake Will I recommend it? Yes for a good breakfast weekend with friends

I tried Lime Tree before, the one on Shaikh Zayed Rd. At that time they had some seasonal( better) menu. I guess I also went for breakfast time. Today I tried The Lime Tree Cafe in Jumeirah-1 which was mostly a huge disappointment. I understand this place is known for its healthy, wholesome and gluten free food but that does not mean that food should be bland and tasteless. First, I went in, placed order and decided to sit outside in courtyard to take better pictures of food as light outside was better but it was a hot n humid day with flies outside which was bothering me. Server named, "Rabin" brought my food. I asked him if I can quickly take pictures of food and he can then" help me" take it inside. A good server should not even say anything to this and should just do it right away. His response: " it's a busy day and I cannot take in and out food. You can tell me one time!" What the?!?!?!?!?!? He left. I took pictures and moved food inside restaurant myself with my little kids!!!!! Even if their servers( including him) saw me didn't bother to help me! Then when I moved inside I noticed they had no air conditioning on!! By the way it was not freezing outside. It was a very muggy day!! Anyway then we tried the food. We had ordered: Bacon n egg picnic pie( AED 32) Roasted pumpkin, beef bacon and feta quiche (AED32) Grilled pineapple and coconut muffin with lime drizzle(AED15) Strawberry and mascarpone cake Chocolate and custard slice Orange n chocolate shortbread Raspberry and white chocolate shortbread Latte This was a lot of food ordered with a total bill of AED230! When you pay this much, and dine at a good place you expect good flavors and good service. I didn't get that!! The picnic pie, the quiche tasted bland. Had no flavor!! I mean I literally expected there would be layers of flavors bursting through as the description of each said a lot!! They didn't even bother to add a vinaigrette on salads they served them with! When I took my picnic pie plate to the counter asking for some kind of sauce I could pour on, the lady said sorry we have no sauce. Only HP sauce! Then walked away! I said to her the pie tastes horrible and she said nothing to me! Every good restaurant with good customer service would say: Sorry ma'am! Can we change your order with something else? No! They didn't say anything and ignored!! The Grilled pineapple and coconut muffin had nothing grilled in it, no coconut flavor not even a Lime hint! I mean how can you come up with a name of some food when it doesn't even represent it?!?!? The chocolate n custard slice was also nothing exceptional! The only thing I really enjoyed was strawberry and mascarpone cake with a latte. I brought shortbread cookies home for my son and he liked them. I would have given this place -1 rating if I had not even enjoyed that strawberry cake and latte!! These guys are lucky that pictures I try to capture are always very tempting! But their food literally tricked me. Didn't taste as good as it looked! Definitely my pictures here will deceive you!

Ambience - Well setup restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables. Service - Good staff and quick service. Food - Came to this restaurant for breakfast. We ordered eggs, baked beans, sandwiches and juices. I found the food very average, I don't understand what the hype is all about. Also, they ran out of hash brown for one of our dishes but they still charged us for the entire dish. They got confused with our order and served a veg sandwich instead of the Lime Tree Roast Turkey sandwich. I only enjoyed their spice plum muffin, that was something different and really good. But when it came to the food, it was very okay and didn't really impress me much. Cost - 60 to 70 per person

Often pass by this place and feel the urge to check it out, and I finally did! Lovely food, which is also a treat to the eyes. Didn't have too many options in the savoury section as such, being a vegetarian. Settled for a banana blueberry blend and a slice of pistachio cake with lemon and ginger cream cheese frosting, and wasn't disappointed at all. Safe to say, I will be going back very soon!

The restaurant is dirty and the decoration is awful... the chairs are cheap plastic and the metal tables and doors are rusty. The staff did not greet us and was very cold. The menu is very limited and not what it looks like in the photos. The salmon quiche we ordered had a sweet pastry crust, where it should have been savoury. The toasted Italian lavash had so much tomato that it was sour. I did not enjoy my experience and this cafe is not truly as good as it is advertised.

This Jumeirah branch is where it all started for the Lime Tree Café. It’s hard to believe it was fifteen years ago – wow! How time flies. Back then the Lime Tree was one of a handful of trendy cafés catering (mainly) to the European community in Jumeirah. Whilst it’s still catering to the Europeans, it isn’t alone anymore. In fact, for every one Lime Tree Café (there are now three) I think I can safely say that there are a dozen newcomers fighting for the same consumers. So it’s a testament to their enduring concept and the quality of their food that their restaurants are always still full.

We went today for Eid breakfast. Not once in our 1.5 hour long stay did any staff member smile at us or bother asking if we needed anything. Asked for coffee to be served 10 minutes into the meal and no one came. The café was nearly empty and still such poor service. Whenever a staff member hurried by our table they seemed to do their best to NOT make eye contact with us. Food quality has degraded in the past year. I went a few months ago for my birthday and it was the same. I figured it's the only place open early enough so went after Eid prayers. Never going again.

We ordered posh breakfast and the veggie breakfast. Posh breakfast has smoked salmon, egg and bread while the veg one consists of tomatoes, spinach, home made hash brown, eggs and bread. This was the best hash brown and mushrooms I had so far. The potatoes used in hash brown seemed really fresh and it blended well with the herbs. The mushrooms were big, juicy and were done perfectly. Price was just right for the quality and quantity of food. The vibes of this place was amazing. A must try.

Went there after ages with a guest!! I guess it's my fav brunch place!! Being in Dubai, he decided to try the local one - breakfast option, now I had never had that, so couldn't advise him against it. Well it looked sooo boring compared to the big one or my eggs Florentine!! But anyhow he had it!! Just boiled eggs, few olives and halloumi cheese in zaatar and sumak. I'm still feeling bad for his choice!! While my eggs Florentine was delicious, I was in the mood for eggs Benedict, it's my all time favorite, and they make it quite well but didn't have it yesterday. The ice tea was alright, usually I go for the nice big vanilla shake, but wanted to keep it light!! I'm now looking forward to the winters to go there again!! It's just much nicer sitting outside!! :)

Great place to visit for breakfast.. it's a nice cafe which serves good food We tried their eggs Benedict, French toast and chicken bacon toastie and it was good... their coffee is also quite good but a little mild bodied...at the end tried their famous carrot cake which was also good... the only thing I didn't like was the self service or pay at the till kind of concept...the fact that their prices are at par with competitors I expected a proper sit in ordering taking restaurant... some people might like this concept but I felt it was a money saving tactic from the owners... however food is good and I ll come back for more. If owners r reading this please change the self ordering n paying concept. It is not for dubai...

Variety of options, tasty food and great ambience. Summer or winter...doesnt matter. Being veggies, my wife and I didnt have any issues selecting veg options. We received the food within 10 mins of placing the order. The only let down we felt was the lady at the counter taking our order, who seemed unhappy on being asked a few questions. If we knew we wouldnt ask her what was the signature veg dish at lime tree or could we replace our mint lemongrass drink with a coffee! Minus this, we loved the place and would recommend to anyone else.

A cafe revered religiously by its Jumeirah patrons, Lime Tree serves up excellent coffee and cafe treats in a living room setting. *A homely aura dissipates from the villa style eatery and outdoor seating outside is a treat for the cooler seasons. *Most items from the menu are well balanced but the display with its colourful display of salads is enticing. You wont go wrong choosing any one of those. The coffee here is the real star with a smooth blend and executed really well. *Priced better than most others on the strip help this stalwart remain the top choice amongst families and other punters alike. *Long waits in the order queue and early closing times can be tough,especially over the weekends but the atmosphere is unique and draws folks regardless.
