Lovely Sunday roast here today. Very serene with a roaring fire and snow ❄️ outside. Always love the cosy decor inside, they have it spot on. Lovely chatting to the owners and staff. Great little pub, try the deserts they were good. quiet place to sleep in your camper overnight. Please ring ahead. There is a 10 pound deposit to hold a spot but if you ask they will give you that towards a meal or drinks. Bus stop to York out the front. Very convenient if you don't want to try and park in town.
Really nice friendly atmosphere, lovely and warm on a cool day. Dog friendly, and beer and food is top notch. We have already booked for a motorhome visit later this year.
