Friendly's

We recently decided to go to Friendly's for dinner with our five teenage children and we had the best experience. Not only did our waitress get everyone’s order correctly but our food was hot and timely!! Everyone enjoyed their meals and ice cream!! Kudos to the kitchen staff also for doing a great job on such a big table!

Friendly continues to amaze me back from the older menus with burgers and fries to currently lobster options and a burger that has ranch Doritos on it which was amazing. The server was so nice and the choices for ice cream continue to surpass some of the smaller ice cream shops left. Over all I'm never disappointed

Applesauce was spilled all over (they offered to replace it but then never brought out the replacement). All the chicken tenders were overcooked including the ones on the bbq chicken super melts. I was charged for four “extra” dipping sauces (we only asked for two, but they brought out 4....and they weren’t “extra” it was the only sauce we had between all 5 of our meals including 2 chicken tender meals) They did take the sauces off the bill upon request, but it was a hassle for them to do it, and I shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. Server and staff were all very friendly and other than the overcooked tenders, the food tasted good. Place was nice and clean with the exception of the waiting benches.

The food was okay, the food came out very quickly which was nice! But the staff were really unfriendly (no pun intended). The waitress made a very rude comment to my husband and I, I was pretty shocked. We tried to laugh it off, but wow. And the woman at the cash register was so focused on something else, she wasn't concerned at all with ringing us out. Overall, not the worst experience, but really not great.

First off I was met by being told they only seating at 50% capacity and they only had two server's working. Then they served a hamburger that waitress said I could order any way I want, but the cook will only do well done. At $12 for a hamburger, you should be able to order any way you want, but not at Friendly's. The special was with that hamburger you could get a small Sunday for $1 more. But, for $1.99 you could upgrade to a medium Sunday, which I did. Medium Sunday is one scoop of ice cream, how little of ice cream comes in a small Sunday. Never was asked if I wanted a drink refill. Never was asked if I wanted anything else. The bill was slammed down on table and I was told "pay upfront", so that ended my meal time. Too tired to argue.

Friendly's was a staple for my childhood, this was a first time visit for my 4 and 5 year old daughters. They loved the kids food choices, loved the kids ice cream choices, loved the headbands, and loved the experience. The staff was super patient and friendly and all the food and ice cream was so delicious 😋
