Had a really enjoyable lunch time today. Sat outside in the sunshine. Atmosphere good, staff really friendly. Burger slightly overcooked but will definitely go back again.

It's times like these where it is good to be alive. Summer winds started to blow after I ate here. Pies were great, good pints - what more do you want. Not cheap - good price for good food.

Lovely place to eat, so cozy and the food was just great. It was fairly busy when we went but we didn't have to wait long for food to come out either.

Staff amazing, we had booked food for a table off 8 for a hen party. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Turned out it was disco/karaoke night which turned into a great start of my hen weekend. Food was amazing too. Thanks for a great night 😊

Had fantastic time on new years eve. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Lovely staffs although one of the staff I presume supervisor or manager was very rude. Gave tip to one of the girl only noticed that the manager took it off from the girl and put in her pocket. Didn't like her attitude.

Sunday lunch was fantastic, The Beef was falling apart and still medium, Lots of seasonal vegetables. We reserved online and our table had a little chalk board on it with our name. Busy but not crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Very cosy on a wet and windy afternoon. Staff where all very friendly and helpful. Craft beers are available here and the bar staff will help you select one to suit your taste. Overall a real gem on the outskirts of York 20 minute walk but worth it.

We stopped here for 1 night in Campervan , lovely friendly pub , near to Race course in York.
The Cross Keys was very friendly and accommodating.
We rang and booked ahead and had a nice evening meal and drinks there , we are vegetarian but there were some nice choices. Staff were friendly and worked hard. It is a dog friendly pub and there is a nice outside sunny terrace with tables.
York City Centre took about 35 mins to walk into from the pub, it is on a bus route but we got a taxi back . Thankyou
