Yara's Middle Eastern

this was honestly some of the best middle eastern food I have had in years and the absolute best in Westchester, where it is hard to find. really nice, flavorful white meat chicken, tender lamb, and the freekeh option instead of rice was great to have a whole grain choice. Tabouli was just how you want it - very high percentage of parsley. great smoky baba too.The portions were huge - enough for another whole meal. Top quality ingredients and extremely generous. will be my go to middle eastern place.

Found this lovely dining establishment on my trip to Yonkers. I wasn't sure what to expect but found the food to be wonderful and authentic. Everything is homemade as this is a family owned business. The food is fresh and full of flavor. My son got the falafel dish and I got the lamb shish kabob. It was cooked while we waited. It was cooked perfectly and there was more than enough food. I took home a lamb pie and spinach/feta pie. I've not tried those yet, but they smell and look terrific. I highly recommend visiting this place for delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

We simply requested our lunch from Yara's, Palisade Ave, Yonkers, NY (the north end) and the nourishment was crazy. The garlic sauce was fantastic and home made !!!!! I would suggest this restaurant..This is a small mom and pop type establishment. We ordered from here for my mom's birthday dinner. Food was pretty good.

Great food! Friendly staff and owner. We were a party of eight and they took cate of us very well. The falafel and stuffed grape leaves were fresh and very tasty. Don't miss this place!Just saw a video on a FB Yonkers community group. There were videos of about a dozen rats rolling around in an excited frenzy behind this establishment late at night after store hours.

The food is fresh, yummy and tastes homemade. The tabouleh was fresh. I know this because I am a guacamole and pico de Gallo connoisseur (I'm Mexican so I know this). Please give this place a chance.Orders came with a salad which was a standard salad you get from a Mediterranean place which was good. Portions aren't huge but pretty big.
