The Manor

The rooms need abit of a spruce up but it was clean and comfortable with the usual teas and coffees available. Staff were more than helpful and friendly! Dinner was delicious as was breakfast, both with a great choice. We had a table booked for dinner but after a tiring day out we decided against it. Being a very busy Friday night room service was unavailable however we were given the option to collect ourselves if we wished so we went down to the bar, ordered food and took it to our room which we were more than happy to do. The rooms are set away from the bar - close enough to wander over to but far enough to not hear revellers which was perfect! Overall, lovely little hotel I'd recommend to stay in

Had an unexpected stay at The Manor Hotel after being badly let down by the accommodation that we had booked in Sherborne. The staff were very accommodating in particular the receptionist went out of her way to help us out of our predicament. The food was superb and catered very well for vegetarians, the rooms although clean were a little tired, however we would happily stay again.

Stayed here for a Course I had to do through work nice place to stay bit of a pain to get to if you are using public transport I would recommend driving if I was staying here again I would definitely drive the breakfast and evening meals were good and the team who delivered it were great reception was really helpful with advice on how to get to my course thanks I will return. 🙂

Our wedding at The Manor Hotel was truly amazing. Matt Palmer is exceptional at his job and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for him. Everything was superb and we can't fault a single thing about the day or the planning process. Matt responded very promptly to every email sent to him and ensured everything went exceptionally smoothly. The team in general were all fantastic, very friendly and did everything they could to ensure us and all our guests were catered for and happy. We cannot fault the team, especially Matt, or the hotel in any way and would happily reccomend them to anyone.

We had a lovely overnight stay for our anniversary. Food was fantastic, we had main and pudding then breafast too. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed some drinks sat outside in the sunshine, drinks include a huge range of gins so I was more than happy. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. Tea and coffee available in the room. We have been here a number of times over the past year and will continue for years to come. Always a great experience, highly recommend!
