We ordered 3 meals - mac and cheese with vegan crispy strips - Gluten Free Cauliflower and red pepper curry - rump steak When the food arrived, the gluten free dish came with a gluten item (the naan bread) and the steak came without the onion rings and mushrooms. Slightly disappointed as we waited a while (wouldnt have minded the wait if food was correct) but we made our concerns known. The front of house staff were amazing - fixed the issues for us quickly and came over to check and explain the mix up. Not sure if maybe the kitchen was a bit over run, which would have explained the issues, but would really like to thank the team at the front for being so accommodating!!

I arrived just after Noon for a 1pm booking so sat at a table within sight of the big screen to watch cricket, having ordered a pint. As I neared the time of my booking I mentioned to the friendly bar staff that I had arrived early, gave my name, and asked if I could order food and, if possible, sit where I was currently as opposed to the allocated table out-of-range of the screens. No problem I was told, and sure enough it wasn't. I ordered my lunch, had another couple of pints, and then headed off to see my team Southend United play against local Yeovil in the FA Cup. Very friendly staff, good quality and affordable meal, clean and friendly surroundings and a nice pint. I will return. Thanks.
