We visited the Cherry Tree for a family meal a week ago and it was a superb experience. The food was fresh and home cooked, “would highly recommend the seafood linguine and the liver and onions,” the Landlady was friendly and very helpful, there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. Would recommend anyone to go for a meal/ drink and support this lovely village pub. As I saw in another review please mind the step on the way in, but that’s what makes this pub so characterful.

Wonderful village pub. Amazing food cooked by the landlady Julie. She never fails to produce real home cooked quality dishes. A great choice of locally sourced beers.

A rare treat. Quintessential village pub which is very welcoming full of character and more often than not full of characters too. A delightful variety of local ales and a superb menu makes this friendly hostilery hard to beat. Pass on by and you've missed a genuine gem 🙂

Some unusual real ales available. Seems to be a popular place for locals. Well supported. Good atmosphere.

Proper country pub...lovely! Run by a couple on their own so don't expect speedy service, but enjoy the relaxed, old fashioned pub atmosphere! Great, home cooked food:)

Popped in today, didn't know what to expect, friendly on arrival, good honest home cooked food from fresh, so be prepared for a worth while wait, proper pub with proper food, if you want your meal on a plate, not on a board or a piece of slate well worth a try.
