Swan Inn

Our team at work often pop out for lunch, and the place we usually go to were running a reduced menu, so we came here for a change. The service was great and we were well looked after, with both servers engaging in conversation. The food was lovely, I didn't grab any pictures, but a couple of us had the salmon (cooked to perfection) and the other 2 had half rotisserie chicken. Everyone was very happy, and splitting the bill was made super easy on the clever payment system. With such nice food and prompt service, we will 100% be back again soon.

Walked in and thought it was quite empty so We thought we would be served quickly. Fortunately, we received drinks almost immediately. We then ordered our mains which we got in under 30 minutes though there were no sauces for us. The food was very nice. We ordered pudding but it took almost 1 hour for it to come. Apart from that it was a very nice experience and would come here again.

I apologise for this review being so late. We visited for a birthday lunchtime meal in March. The food was lovely and we didn't have to wait very long. We were very well looked after by Trudy, who was extremely helpful when we requested to move tables. She was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely visit again when we visit Worcestershire.

Here is my experience at this pub, I never go to the effort of leaving reviews, but hopefully this will prevent anyone else from wasting their time and money. On arrival, we stood for a few minutes whilst 3 (what looked like) senior members of staff finished their conversation. Eventually, we were seated by a different member of staff from the 3, who continued to converse. When seated and given menus, we were not informed of any unavailable items, so when we were finally asked our food order 30 minutes later, we were told 2 out of the 4 meal choices were not available. We had come to celebrate my nephew's 16th Birthday, and tried to order him a cider with his meal, in line with government guidelines, and was told I couldn't purchase the cider because he wasn't 18 despite all other members of the party being adults, it's a bit of a grey area, but nonetheless, it ruined the occasion for him slightly. Food arrived, the Hunter's Chicken bacon was burnt black, and the cheeseburger was cold. There was no sauce given with the cauliflower wings also, which were very dry. Finally, when we received the bill, we were instructed on how to leave a tip, and fiercely watched and pressured into leaving a tip when making final payment. I wouldn't usually mention this but, we were definitely pressured into leaving a tip despite a number of issues with both the food and the service. Again, I don't usually leave reviews, but when you're paying premium prices and receiving that service/food quality, people are entitled to know. Would not recommend.

Walked in this evening one guy doing everything he was rushing around like mad ma n We ordered drinks served in good time. Ordered food waited far to long . The food arrived pie chips seasonal veg Very small portion of chips very small amount of cabbage =seasonal veg . Salmon with new potatoes not sure how they were described but they were horrid & very hard to swallow . Very expensive .
