Bob Evans Restaurant

Visited around 9 am on a Sunday morning. Moderately busy, but I didn't have to wait to be seated. The staff were friendly and my waitress was quick with the coffee and checking back with me. I had to wait a pretty long time for my food (I noticed everyone else was waiting as well) and I was starting to sour on this visit. When the food finally did arrive, it was hot, delicious and went a long way in making up for the long wait. I had the country fried steak, eggs, toast and coffee. Everything was super tasty and cooked perfectly. Overall a good visit--good food and good value, if not the fastest.

They only have 1 server working and I was respectful of that. But my food came out ice cold and my child’s grilled cheese was burnt toast with cheese slapped on top. When the server finally got back around to me, I asked it to be removed from my bill. I then hear the manager and servers loudly talking poorly about me and my husband in the kitchen. Worst service ever and I’ll never be back. Don’t waste your time or money— you’re better off at a Taco Bell.

All our meals were good. The help that was there worked very hard to accommodate the customers. There just wasn't enough help. Not management's fault they certainly would like to hire. Maybe things like the new fad of writing on the receipt no tip blame Bidon are causing people not to apply at restaurants. Maybe the people who do this don't realize that waitresses don't make their income from the restaurants, they make their income from tips. Or more than likely they just don't care. What a low way to save a buck. Waitresses are trying to support family's, pay for college, be a part of the economy. Who in their right mind wants to work for nothing. So the next time you have to wait a long time to be seated or to get your food remember how you tiped last time you were out. Maybe you are the reason you are waiting so long

The restaurant was busy which is usual for this location. They had to put tables together for us. Which was ok. What gives them the 1 Star is the fact that when they are plating food they are stacking plated food on top of other customers plated food on the hot table. Waitresses go in grab the plates of the top retrieve their customers meal on the bottom and serve it. I will not eat some where that plates sit on top of your cooked meal. For a 75 dollar meal you would think they would not set other plates on top of food to be served.
