Panera Bread

I’ve come to this location since I was a little girl, now I take my daughter here and to be honest… I usually don’t even take the time to write reviews but this time it was worth it. Lately the food has been poorly prepared and/or missing items, I didn’t mind because I come here all the time, but today I had one of the strangest customer service experiences I’ve ever had here. The employees clearly aren’t happy but they don’t need to treat me and my daughter differently because of it. Today I walked in and asked if I could have a soufflé when the cashier looked at me and said “no” … we literally just sat there staring at each other until he finally said “just kidding”… and then the rest of the experience was just awkward enough to write a review about it. If this location wasn’t so close by, I wouldn’t come back.

I usually love coming here to get coffee and a cinnamon roll but today I got the worst service. The cashier needs more time shadowing more other experience employees. (Slow morning at the restaurant too!) Before I order, the customer before me had problems with ordering his food...simple order too.. .that should've been a signal of bad customer service, I order my food and it takes them 25 minutes to get my cinnamon roll, then they give 3/4 of the portion and it was cold and hard... Please do not lower your standards or I will start going next door to Starbucks. Management, train your employees and spot check them specially when the store in not that busy!

I ordered a scheduled pickup on DoorDash and not only was it not ready when I got there, but I had to show my order to 2 employees (1of them being the manager). The manager then asked me if I was a DoorDasher & if ‘I’m sure I placed the order.’ Yes, because it was fully paid for! The manager also said they’d ‘never done that on DoorDash so they had no idea what the issue was.’ They also asked for an order #, which the app didn’t have. Then they redirected me to DoorDash and didn’t offer to re-order for me or match the rate I got on the app (as I had a pick-up promo code). I left with no food and no sympathy/apology. Please save your time.

Horrible horrible. This panera has been losing me slowly. I keep trying to give them another chance but tonight was the last one. My son's bread bowl was not even filled half full. When I took it back, the manager told me too bad, that's all you get. They measure them precisely and the bread bowl sops up the juice. I told him I have been getting those for years and NEVER had a bowl less then half full. He said that's how it is and dissed me. So the 20 cents it might have costs him to fill up the bowl, costs this panera much much more. Long time customers, me and my 4 adult children, though we have all been disappointed lately. The rudeness and unwillingness to simply take care of a customer ended my spending there. Oh, and to top it off, he would not tell me his name. He just said, Dan. Manager Dan. Refused to give me his full name. Sounds a bit shady to me. Much better food all around the area at lower prices and bigger portions. I use to meet friends and colleagues here but now I would not recommend this panera to anyone.

If I could give zero stars ⭐️ I would!! This was the dirtiest! The most filthiest Panera bread I have ever been in!! We were speechless!! Ceiling and mold everywhere on ceiling and ventilation! Thick dust and black mold all over the vents and on lighting fixtures all over restaurant and over every table!! Walked through entire restaurant and each place was dirty and carpet was covered in food chunks. Ever my windows seal have thick dust and food……. It was just SO unbelievably bad!! We cancelled food and got refund and left! My suggestion is for this local to shut down for a week and scrub the entire place and make repairs. This place is a health code violator not just in cleanliness but also how food was handled behind counter. It was so bad! I love Panera Bread so this pains me to write this! But I cannot in good conscience recommend this location to anyone! I think you would be sick of you at here! Health department needs to be called! People need retrained and need accountability!
