Harborside

Hi fellow Google maps fans. We took a little detour on our way from Orlando to Port Charlotte via US 27 South. Harborside was an excellent find. It's about a 12 mile detour but Absolutely worth it! The restaurant is located on waterfront and it is a very tranquil location. Anywhere you are seated will provide a great water view. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. We're on vacation so we had oysters from Massachusetts and West Virginia. The Bread they serve is amazing a little garlic and Parmesan and warm. We had the Ahi tuna, lobster bites, pork pot stickers and chicken satay for appetizers. They were all delicious. Seriously, delicious. . Most of our family had steak the kids had the sirloin, which to my horror they ordered cooked medium well ... Who does that? Mine was the cowboy ribeye and it was the Best steak I have had for a while. The cook and flavor was beyond compare. Hannah was our server and she was sweet and attentive. She made our last day of vacation special. Thank you Hannah. If you're within a 30 mile radius, Get Here!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner tonight. Started with the Gator Bites which are phenomenal. There were 5 in our party, diners included Blackened Grouper, Crab Cakes, Baked Scallops & Shrimp (x2), and Stuffed Flounder. Every dinner cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The service was outstanding, thank you Nicole! The restaurant sits on the edge of a beautiful lake and offers wonderful views, especially at sunset. Definitely looking forward to going back again next time we are here.

Ordered the fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. It came out nice and hot and it was super tasty. Pair with the sweet potato fries and you have a perfect combo. I almost didn’t eat all of my fries as the size of the sandwich was huge. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good seafood and a nice view of lake shipp

Great restaurant in winter haven area located right on the lake. Small wine list but the moscato was good. Lobster bites were tasty as well as the potato skin’s stuffed with shrimp and scallops. The house salad was nothing to be excited about. The shrimp Alfredo was really good with huge shrimp. My friend loved the shrimp trio. Service was really slow so that was annoying but I would recommend going here.

The service here from start to finish was amazing. The food was good, I had the stuffed flounder with old bay slaw, and that was delicious. The flounder was stuffed with shrimp and scallops. The salmon and filet were also delicious. The chicken casserole was tasty. The crab did need more seasoning for taste, but the broccoli was good. The overall experience here was great. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant with an awesome lake view. Our server Alyssa,was very nice and friendly. The clam chowder soup is very creamy and delicious,best one I have tried so far. For my entree I ordered the mahi mahi with the sweet potatoes fries and rice and unfortunately was very overcooked and bland and the rice was mushy,but I ask for salmon instead and veggies and i let me tell you OUT of this world both absolutely delicious. My husband lobster and steak super delicious too. Definitely coming back. Oh !And the cucumber martini pack with flavor and alcohol yummy!

Our new favorite place! First time customers. We were immediately greeted with friendly, smiling faces. The lake view seating was exceptional, the booths were super spacious and our server, Hallie, was very knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The food was beyond amazing. (See photos) The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside but soft and fresh on the inside, the salad was, hands down, the best we have ever had; Super fresh, mixed and served at our table, and the dressing was indescribably delicious. I ordered the chicken breasts with creamy mushroom gravy and my husband ordered the chicken pot pie. All phenomenal and extremely tender. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.
