Taloola Cafe

I last visited in 2014, loved the food, atmosphere, everything. Had the opportunity to be in town the other day and immediately planned to stop at Taloola. I've raved about the peanut butter cookies for years, and was happy that they still make them. The best cookie I've ever had, hands down. Brought one back to London for a friend.

For a small lil local cafe this place is aweosme, the food is amazing. I usually always get the sandwich special and a smoothie, sometimes a soup/stew. Only thing I wish is there was more room available on the patio during peak hours, but it's a little local spot, I'm not going to hold that against anything because it's the spot to be on a beautiful day

As a born and raised Windsorite who now lives out of the city, I always enjoy coming home to familiar and cozy spots like Taloola. I have no issue with the food or price. Overall quality is pretty good! The one thing I can’t get over is the general tone of the service I consistently see. For example, my visit on June 17/2022 - with some of the staff, it’s like their serving you in an inconvenience or a burden. This is certainly not all the staff but was true of the 2 people who helped me during my otherwise lovely visit. I just can’t shake this observation and I wish it were different. I find there are so many Windsor spots who we all frequent because there limited options but we tolerate mediocre service. We all with that would be different. I’ll continue to visit Taloola to support this lovely local business.
