I can't get enough of this Bakery! The meat pies are to die for! Then there's all the delicious desserts, breads and pastries...the hard part is deciding which delicious treats to choose because you just cannot go wrong! The staff is super friendly and fast! This is hands down the Best Bakery in Sonoma County 😸

I moved over from England 7 years ago and I’ve missed sausage rolls and meat pies! Finally a place to grab them as a snack. And they rate so good.

Sweet bakery with NZ style pastry puffs and delicious drip coffee. Highly recommend their sausage rolls!

8/10 Love the slices and lamington. I enjoy the meat pies as well, I had steak & cheese pie and steak & mushrooms.

A little taste of New Zealand! The bakery is a bit hidden but right next to Safeway in the shopping center here. There are a couple of tables and chairs just outside where you can enjoy your baked goods. The pastry is spot on and definitely crafted by a skilled baker! Prices are reasonable too. They didn't make any scotch eggs the day we came so we'll try another day for those. Meat pies are now $9 each but they're very hearty and filling. While I still miss that rich gooey top quality NZ cheese, the pies here are still tasty. Croissants are amazing as well. We got a little bit of everything.. almost. Some of my favorites were the almond croissant, blackberry cheesecake, and lambingtons (especially raspberry). I'm still working through the various flavors of meat pies (bought a few cold ones to warm up at home) so jury's still out on that but I'll update once I figure out my top pies. If you're a meat lover, definitely go for the sausage roll. This is a great little bakery and one of a kind since I've yet to come across a (specifically) NZ bakery here in the Bay Area/surrounding areas. If you're in the area or down for a little drive this is a great spot!

I just happen to be in the area and was looking for a treat. Boy did I find one. I opted for a cookie and hot tea. Taste and quality were superb. The bakery theme is New Zealand. Looking at the what is offered, there are many mouth watering choices. Pretty cool place.

Saw pictures of the menu and looks like the prices has changed, pies are now $8 and sausage roll are $6. They also have sandwiches like salami and cheese for 7.50. They have plain croissant, ham or chocolate. They had brownies, and little apple pies, they had huge cream hot dogs (not really a hot dog) just cream inside the pastry. They had cookies too. They sell loafs of bread. I didn’t see any handmade beverages for sale. Cute little shop! Some Seating outside.

Found everything I was craving for. The chicken pie was bomb. Haven't tried all the other fun goodies I bought yet. The 4 hr trip was definitely worth it. Staff was extremely friendly. Bakery was very clean and all the items were displayed and labelled accordingly. Wish I lived closer but glad I don't because then I'd be there everyday. Enjoy and order ahead to avoid disappointment.

Marvelous authentic New Zealand Bakery with the best meat pies in the US. The pies are baked in house along with award winning breads and pastries. A “must visit “ if you are in the Sabina Valley area of California.

I’ve had the the distinct pleasure of visiting and spending some time in New Zealand, So when somebody tells me that there’s a bakery close by that serves meat pies I’m definitely down.
BurtoNZ bakery Is nestled in in the corner of a Save Mart shopping plaza. If you weren’t paying attention to the sign and how they cleverly highlighted the NZ, ya probably wouldn’t even know the difference. Walking in there’s subtle visual cues reminding you of the New Zealand flare this place has tried to create. Walking in, even heard some New Zealand accents from a party having pastries outside.
They have a pretty good selection of sweet pastries along with a vast selection of artisan breads that they make on site here daily. What I am after sits between the two in it’s own display case. If I’m hungry and eating with my eyes I’m already full, because they all look amazing. You can tell that whoever makes these pies puts great care in to making sure that they’re baked absolutely perfectly, not one of them looks off. Selections include bacon egg, mince beef, chicken, savory southwestern, steak potato, steak cheese. I’m after two flavors today; mushroom goat cheese and steak/mushroom. Perfectly warm with some sweet ketchup on the side. Man if I only had some of that New Zealand milk I’d be in heaven. The place is clean, people sitting round tables inside and out. Every once in a while you get a whiff of the fresh breads being made in the back. As far as price point is concerned, Be prepared to spend at least $8 bucks per pie. I would definitely say it’s worth it.
