Great place for an intimate gig, the proximity to the musicians is amazing and it generates a fantastic atmosphere. Nearly a home gig for Rob Clamp, so intent on delivering a very special night. Tremendous audience participation as he whipped up a stunning performance.

Fantastic venue, easy to find from the station, great bar staff and reasonably priced drunks. Really enjoyed seeing Rob Clamp and his incredibly talented band in such a welcoming and intimate venue. Will definitely be back to see more of my favourites.

A fabulous pub with great character - perfect venue to go to listen to live music. I celebrated my birthday just the other weekend there, and all my friends from outside Winchester were in awe with the location :)

Went to a gig (Rhoda Dakar) in the music bar...good choice of beers at reasonable prices...decent sound system, good crowd...good night...Keep Music Live - if you're from Winchester and it's environs check out who's coming and buy a ticket - you might enjoy yourself 🙂

Brilliant music venue. Really helpful and friendly staff. The sound was excellent and had a great atmosphere. Good bar and you can fit in a bit of pool.

This is a wonderful community asset. Great for a quiet pint in the early evening. Later on it gets busier upstairs for poetry, a book club or their roots revival open mic on a Monday and the bigger bands on stage out back. Don't miss Hendogs art work in the garden, a touching tribute to a local musician.
Really dog friendly too.

What a great music venue. First time visit to enjoy Tarren (a brilliant "new" folk trio). Easy parking in local streets, good ale and relaxed, very comfortable club rooms. Sound was first class.

Absolute Gem, It's very chilled, well organised, special shout out to Barman George! Service was awesome and very welcoming! Owner Daniel is an True Gent! Felt safe and comfortable, down to earth definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good change!

Went here for Rob Heron and the tea pad Orchestra, the staff were all friendly and helpful with information we required. The drink prices were average for any pub or bar.
We will definitely keep an eye on any upcoming events.

One of the best small music venues in the South. The live room is brilliantly set up and because of that quality they attract acts bigger than you'd expect. Also a really important venue for new and up and coming bands in the area. The front bar is well set out and nice just to pop in for a beer, as is the refurbished garden area.
