We visited Winchester yesterday and stopped here for lunch.
We got a very friendly welcome from the owner. We had the lunch time menu of Cod and Chips with a drink of choice included. The meal was cooked to perfection, the fish moist and the batter beautifully crisp and the chips were crispy on the outside whilst being fluffy on the inside. One of the best meals I've ever had in a Fish and Chip shop. We will definitely visit again and so should you.

Senior lunch deal was very fresh and very good. Not too many chips, and the mug of tea good and strong. Ate on the terrace, a sensibly sized meal at a good price.

Would leave 6 stars if I could. Battered sausage beautifully crisp, chips cooked to perfection. My first time trying a pea fritter (sue me) and this was just delightful, lovely minty edge. Service friendly, speedy and welcoming. Nice spot to watch the world go by too.

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! Fish is crispy and fresh, chips are amazingly crunchy and fluffy on the inside as they're double fried. Highly recommended.
You get proper plates and cutlery too. Very reasonable prices.

Catch is at the centre of the town one of the best places to have quick lunch, freshly cooked while you wait and the place is noticeably nice and clean. If you'd like to have crispy, golden fish&chips at a decent price definitely try this place.
