Subway

Subway came to the rescue! In this town where most places had the right food but not the cheapest menu. Excepting high street cafes which were too far to get to after a few turnings, so not practical when walking and wanting a tea and a snack to stave off the hunger bug, in the slightest. The snack was a side of meatballs topped with cheese at £2.29 (about) and just the thing at that moment. Gratifying my hunger pangs and making me feel ever so exuberant! Energising my taste buds for another round in another given time. Filled to the brim in this present clime. And it didn't cost the earth So give it a twirl. Too much chatting, not enough portion serving with reduced bowl sizes, and warm so need to heat up the training here. Also the air con is like an Arctic wind with heaters blowing as well, makes for unpleasant sitting. Management stress was also clearly visible, this is a quieter branch, fewer customers, might be an idea to befriend the community rather than expel or diminish them.

As of the first experience of this establishment I have come to the conclusion they are a very nice bunch of people! First of all the service provided was immaculate and well put out, from the making of my sandwich to the interaction between customer to worker. Overall amazing subway and had a amazing time, recommend to anyone who is based in or around this specific shop!

Worst subway I’ve ever been to, staff were rude and unhelpful and when questioning the price of the products and transaction for our order the old lady got rude and stressed, no customer service skills at all, in the end walked and and got hurled profanity by the bloke in there. What a joke, avoid at all costs. Will be taking this further.

It was pouring down and I thought on my way back home (I was cycling back from a quick shopping trip during my Lunch break) and I thought I would grab a quick snack. The shop was completely empty and the three employees were idling around in the shop and I was told to go back outside and park my bicycle by the shift manager. Meaning I would have to get soaked even more (I would have to go back down the street and lock my bicycle up) for no good reason other than the idling employees might have to clean up some wet tire tracks (remember the shop was COMPLETELY empty and the high street had very few people on it during a Monday lunch while it was belting down with rain). Shocking lack of consideration and customer service, I would give it 0/5 if I could.

The second Subway we went to was brilliant. It was clean and tidy. The young person was very helpful. We wanted to try the new meatless marinara, the first Subway in Eastleigh didn't have the meatless or EVEN ANY BREAD!! A sandwich shop without bread? We drove a bit to Winchester and it was great, an amazing sub roll.
