Pizza Ranch

It was extremely messy. Every table was dirty. There was a literal finger nail on a table! The floors are covered in food and are sticky. They brought out the cheese bread once our entire stay. The ice machine didn’t have ice. When we asked the manager about why they didn’t have ice, he said he “couldn’t make the ice appear “. The ice cream machine was broken. I am a little shocked at the conditions of this place. The corporate office needs to step in. Hopefully we can get our money back. 😬

The staff went above and beyond to serve delicious, pizza, amazing chicken and a great salad bar to our 2 busloads of hungry dairy and beef farmers. I called a couple weeks in advance and they certainly were prepared. Our group was from across the US and many had never been to a Pizza Ranch. They were impressed! Thank you!

We stopped on our way through town, we’ve been to few locations recently and we will never go back to the one in Willmar. It was busy while we were there, but nothing crazy, plenty of open tables. Part of the pop was out, tasted terrible. We tried at least 3 flavors before finding one that was good yet. When we first arrived there was several pizzas out with only 2-3 pieces remaining, most never got refilled in the 45 minutes we were there. The dessert pizza section had 5 pieces when we arrived and never got refilled in the time we were there. A few pizzas came out while we were there but of course they were gone in seconds. Another customer made a comment that it was always like that at this location. This location was over $12 more expensive than other locations we’ve been to in the last few weeks, it was the same time of day and same amount of people. It was very dirty, my son is 4 and got on the floor to pick something up and it was disgusting, more than just the current days mess. Around the edges by the wall was really bad, there was food that had been there a long time. My husband said the mens bathroom was gross. Nobody clear plates at all while we were eating in the entire dining room that I could see. We left hungry, which is sad considering the price and that it is a buffet. Very disappointing. Do not recommend and we will not be back to this location.

It’s so frustrating to go to Pizza Ranch in Willmar now days. I use to love taking my daughter there cause I knew she would eat and it wouldn’t be a waste of money. Now when you go there’s nothing on the buffet, condiments are empty and it’s dirty inside. To make matters worse the employees just aren’t the friendliest. I miss the old Willmar Pizza Ranch. :(

Previously I would have given 5 stars, we used to always have our family get togethers here, we loved it and so did the kids! It was always clean and food was always hot, fresh and consistent and the manager and employees were awesome! Since the previous manager that ran this place for years has left this restaurant has gone down hill terribly! The buffet is never stocked so by the time they bring out any food people have already been sitting there for 10+ minutes flock to it and its understandably gone right away. The management and employees don't seem to care about customer service or the cleanliness of the place. Everything about it is awful long story short. Honestly I have no interest in returning here again. It's saddens me that this place used to amazing and now my family and myself don't enjoy eating here anymore.
