Frogs Barbeque Pad

One of the best hole-in-the-wall, local BBQ joins around! I've been going to Frog's for about 20 years now and (thankfully) not much has changed over time. The lunch special is the way to go - get yourself a pork sandwich, fries and sweet tea and you'll be all set. Just make sure to choose your favorite sauce. The hot is really good without being too hot. Expect a bit of a wait, especially if you go during peak hours, but it's definitely worth a few extra minutes. There's a small seating area to sit if you're dining in, but not a whole lot of room in there.

Wow, this takes me back in time. I always forget about this little hidden gem. We love to stop by here when we go over that way. Being a native Floridian this is the real Florida experience. It's just the kind of little barbecue shack I grew up going to as a kid. It's very clean, staff are friendly and food is great. You definitely want to check this place out.

Very happy I dined here. I had the pork combo platter with corn and beans. Corn is corn, only so many ways you can screw it up so not going to say much about it. The beans were pretty good. Some BBQ places put a little sugar in them to make them sweeter, but here they didn't and I was grateful for that. Then we get to the star of the show: the pork. I had it with the medium sauce and it was great! The pork was pretty soft and came apart easy. I found that the sauce had a good amount of kick to it without being too much. All in all, I would highly recommend this place and go back.
