Applebee's

While I really appreciate that Applebee's was open on Thanksgiving while I was away from home so I could eat out verse having hotel food, they unfortunately were low staffed for waiters and were having trouble keeping up with just refilling drinks, we had to ask a few times before finally getting refilled. They said they ran out of clean glasses. Restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, no wait, but then it starting getting busy and had a 45 min wait, partially due to food taking a while and staff to handle everything. Overall it was good but they really worked their staff extra by not having more on shift . Happy hour was still approved even with holiday so that helped with half priced apps and bar drinks.

2017-10-15 our server Pam was very nice and pleasant, the food was okay, the restaurant was not my choice but my family wanted to eat here, we had 14 in our group/party including children, it took a while to get our drinks, silverware, Entrees (understandably) and our bill(s) as we split the bill between 3 families; we come here a lot every now and then

When we were seated, we told 3 different people that there were 9 people in our party, but we were seated in a booth for 4-6 people. Our food took nearly two hours to be made. When it came out some of it was cold. Some of the people in our group got their food way before others did. Even our drinks that we ordered took forever. We were told that the kitchen was very backed up, but people around us got their food before us even though they came in after us. The manager brought chips and salsa to our table after we had waited well over an hour, but never introduced herself as a manager, nor did she ever come to the table and acknowledge our wait or offer any apology for the incredibly long wait. Our waiter was trying, but apparently he had no help. We also had to use plastic to go utensils because there weren't any clean ones...plastic with steak??
