Piara Pizza

My church often orders the deep dish cheese Piara pizza. It's so good. That crispy crust? 😘 Naturally I assumed their other pizzas would be equally yummy. I ordered the regular veggie pizza. The veggies tasted like they were from a can. I'm not sure what was going on with the cheese. The dough and sauce were bland. I ended up eating only the veggies and crust. I will say that their customer service is top tier. One of the workers was even nice enough to offer me a discount on a pizza that hadn't been picked up. I think I'll just stick to the deep dish. Maybe the meat pizzas are tastier.

Ordered: custom large pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, bell peppers, red onion. Hot wings. Pros: open during a holiday, so thank you! They also followed through with our light cheese, extra sauce request. Wings were great, pleasantly spicy. Cos: Their default pizza crust doesn’t taste much like anything and is on par with pre-baked Boboli crusts. Mushrooms looked and felt like they were from a can. Very sparse vegetables, diced/sliced incredibly thin. Suggestions for the restaurant: use fresh mushrooms. Offer aromatics as options: fresh minced garlic, basil, oregano. Use a more rustic, homemade dough.
