Steak Corral

This was our first trip here. As soon as we got out of the car we could smell the meat cooking— you know that is a good sign. Hubby and I both ordered ribeyes. The steaks were cooked just to our liking and were delicious. The cheese toast was great. Loved they have a potato fixins bar where you can gussy up your potato. The price is great! Definitely a value. As some other reviewers have commented the cowboy theme feels definitely vintage but that is also the charm of this hidden gem. This place has been around since the 60s and survived the pandemic and that says a lot. Great food and supporting a local business— a double win!

1st time to this restaurant. They try to do a cowbot 🤠 theme. The menu hangs from the ceiling when you enter and the hostess writes up your order then you can choose to make a small salad at the salad bar kinda line that corrals you to the drinks then eventually the register to pay before you eat. The salad and drink bar looks like a covered wagon. Once you pay for your meal you get a cowboy name for your table to identify your order. near concept. I was Roy Rogers.. I thought of the film Die Hard 🤣 ....YIPPY- KY - YAY Over all the meal was good. steaks are soft. I just thought they overcooked the onion rings but then again I like my onion rings soft. If you order medium rare it comes up rare..so check your steak and let them know if it needs to be cooked more. ...and for the kids they have horse saddle chairs which my kids enjoyed. I will be back but just wish I didn't have to order 1st as it will hold up the line and you feel forced to order quickly especially when your undecided and have kids that haven't made up their minds yet. Food and table are decent Ordering process is a headache

Great! Great! Place for steak! It's been around forever and the food is always good. The service has gotten much better and again the food is good. Never waited more then 5 min to order or to get a table. They have chicken, fish, and sandwiches and of course steak. Themed like the old west so gives it a great vibe.
