Cafe + Kitchen

This is the best cafe and restaurant in Whitstable! Can't recommend it highly enough. The evening menu changes each week and is always exceptional, and the place is run by a friendly team. Its breakfast, brunch and lunch menus are also delicious, and great value for money. You won't find a better Sunday roast in the town. If you're visiting Whitstable this is a must-visit. And if you're a local and you can visit anytime - lucky you!

Michelle is just fabulous and the food that comes out of Little Katsu Kitchen is delicious! The hilight was the beautiful hot seafood platter that Michelle prepared for us with lobster that seemed to melt in your mouth and the beautiful fish cakes. Can't wait to visit Whitstable and sample more of the lovely food from Cafe & Kitchen.

I’ll hold my hands up and say that I’ve only ever been in for the Sunday roasts before. That changes now. Well this blew me away Chef. Top draw food.......Tasty AF. I can see the effort made with the taste profiles in each dish. You should take a bow and your new menu will be a massive hit. If you love Asian food with the Cafe&Kitchen twist get ordering. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. My order & score: Korean chicken wings W Korean BBQ sauce 10/10 Tempura Prawns 9/10 Chicken Katsu Pancake Roll 10/10 (this is a game changer) Crispy chicken gyoza 8/10 Boa bun with sticky pork belly 10/10 (and I’ll get the recipe from you) Asian ‘Slaw 10/10 Nasi Goreng W Togarashi pork belly & crispy fried egg 10/10 (Some food didn’t make the photos due to being consumed on first sight)

Sampled various vegan dishes from the Saturday Katsu menu and none of them disappointed! Such amazing flavours and variety, beats the classic ‘bean burger’ you usually get offered as a vegan option. Polite, friendly staff and excellent value for money. We sat outside in the cute courtyard. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Popped in here while on a visit to Whitstable with a coach tour. The food was absolutely lovely - fresh and organic and served on sourdough bread. Later in the afternoon, my friend discovered she’d left a bag behind containing something she’d bought on the harbour, so we went rushing back to the café to find that the young ladies there had made plans to make their way to where our coach was due to pick us up and try to find us, had we not gone back for it. I call that going the extra mile. Thank you to these young women both for the great food and for your thoughtfulness!
